Three Taco plate with beans & rice - Mahi Mahi Taco, Carne Asada taco, and Chicken Tinga taco

Service was excellent - we were served at our table by the bartender and she was incredibly attentive and kind! She also made us the best drinks. We had the strawberry & tamarind margarita, and then strawberry mojitos and they were delicious. We also had the elote appetizer and it was phenomenal - would highly recommend! Each of us had the three taco platter and we both loved the chicken tinga tacos, will definitely be coming back for them again!

Highly recommend this place for micheladas and margaritas! Came in here on a Friday afternoon, the atmosphere and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We shared the order of flautas and it was a perfect appetizer to share amongst three people along with the complementary chips and salsa. We visited from California, and we agreed that this place had the best micheladas that we had on our trip. 10/10 would recommend

I had been looking fwd to trying out this place and o really wanted to give it a great rating but It came a bit short. We went mid week, early evening, the place was empty. We ordered drinks, I felt that they were just ok. The food was also nothing to rave about. I would love to give it another go and maybe try out the outdoor seating before it gets really cold. Maybe I just went on a bad day. But I felt that the food / drinks were overly priced for just mediocre. Staff was nice. Service was fast. Parking is off street and can be challenged, quite busy area.

Yummy brunch location! Stumbled upon it by accident and I'm glad I did. It felt like a comfy neighborhood restaurant you can casually walk in with your family and/or friends. There were plenty of seats when we got there around 12:30pm on a Saturday. Some of the brunch deals we took advantage of were the $25 mimosa kit and complimentary chips/salsa. The chips were thin and tasty, and the salsa was fresh and delicious. For my meal, I ordered the green chilaquiles. One of the best I've had in Chicago so far, and they gave plenty of meat. It was a bit salty. Although I didn't mind too much because it was just so good. I would definitely come back and order it again.

Catching up on Yelp reviews in 2024. I visited here back in March with some of my fraternity brothers on a Saturday night. Mi Nueva Tierra had a cozy neighborhood vibe and they had a DJ that was starting late night playing party music. They had a pretty big bar and the feel of the place was vintage. They had a big liquor selection and we were drinking Lime Margheritas, which were amazing! Chips were solid and the salsa was slightly spicy. I ordered some steak and carnitas tacos. The steak was very juicy and tender and the carnitas were very flavorful as well. I loved the corn tortillas, which were fresh and crispy. I wish there was some green and red salsas that were on the side to place over the tacos. The beans were very good, but the rice was ok as it was pretty dry. Overall, I am a fan of Mi Nueva Tierra! It has a good neighborhood vibe, food was good, service was good, and prices are good. Definitely worth a visit!

Forgot to take a before picture but the chicken and steak tacos were DELICIOUS and my Large strawberry margarita was too ;) they were supper friendly and it was a vibe in there!

Got some good Mexican drinks and food one evening here. It's pretty fast and has a chill atmosphere with a sports bar feel to it. Mi Nueva Tierra is a great place for getting some good cocktails and tacos. Also has plenty of TVs for watching games. The prices are pretty good and the food was fresh and not canned type of stuff. After looking up a few places around Ashland and Fullerton, we came here. It doesn't look like much from the outside. The inside isn't that big either, but there's enough room for a small gathering or so. Got seats at the bar. We ordered some drinks first, of course margaritas. It's about $8 for the MNT Margarita, the Classic Lime. The food may hav been even better though. Cheap. We got the Veggie Tacos. It's $4 each. These come with cilantro, lettuce, and roasted vegetables. Small but mighty. There's also other classics like burritos and tortas among others. Check it out if you like the idea of Mexican food in a sports bar. It's basically what this place is like. There's good drinks and food at good prices for most things.

We came to eat @ Crio on Clybourn Ave just down the street from Mi Nirvana Tierra but they weren't open. Searching Yelp we found Mi Nuevo Tierra about 1/2 mile south of Crio. Since we were already in the neighborhood we decided to give them a try. We all ordered the enchilada mole dinner that came w/what else beans & rice. Decent food but nothing earth shattering that makes me want to come back again. The salsa that came with the chips was very good. Nice restaurant w/ good service, but unfortunately for me it was good but nothing spectacular

Food was delish and so filling. Con queso app was soo good too. Pitcher is worth the $50 price as it gave 8 small cups. Smaller size restaurant, music was very fun and exciting. I'll be coming back!!

My only complaint was the price. I don't like credit card surcharges (include it in the price) and $50 bucks for two apps and a couple of beers is a little over what I was hoping to spend.

It was the off-season for baseball so no Wrigley crowds, but still decently busy. We got a table promptly and had beers in front of us with the quickness. We shared some Wings which hit the spot. I had a bowl of Clam Chowder and their Mini Burgers. Both excellent. My friends got the Chicago Dog and Turkey Melt. Both liked their food. Great Menu selection of the usual Sports Bar favorites. Beers were Hazy IPAs and tasted great. Large selection of beer on tap. Service was on point and everything came. out quickly. We ubered out from Downtown to come here. It was a great experience and I will definitely return anytime I'm in Chicago.
