I came to this location intentionally to avoid the Magnolia one because I previously had a pretty disappointing service experience there. Unfortunately, it seems like the service issues might not just be limited to that location. The frustrating part is that the food is genuinely good. I stopped in on a Friday for lunch and ordered the shrimp cocktail and it was delicious. Flavor-wise, no complaints at all. But the service? Once the food hits the table it feels like the staff completely disappears. No one checks back in, no drink refills, no asking if anything else is needed. It basically turns into a self-service experience after your plate arrives. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was that there was a man nearby who was clearly very intoxicated and harassing people around him. I was honestly surprised the staff kept serving him alcohol instead of cutting him off or stepping in. It made the whole environment feel awkward and a little chaotic. It's disappointing because the kitchen is clearly doing its job the food is great but the overall dining experience just doesn't match the quality of what they're serving. After having similar service issues at two locations, it's starting to feel like a pattern. I'd still be open to giving it another try down the road because the food is worth it, but I really hope the service and overall management of the dining room improves. read more

After so many years I gave this place another chance. Candy you were amazing! The restaurant was very clean, and the service was good overall--our servers were attentive throughout the visit. What really stood out, though, was Candy, who was exceptionally friendly and went out of her way to connect with us. As for the food, our order was decent, but there were a few misses: the carne en su jugo had some burnt pieces of meat, the green caldo was a bit too thick, and the taco on the kids' plate was a little tough. While the food wasn't quite at its best this time, Candy's wonderful hospitality definitely makes me want to come back and give you another try in the future! read more

This pollo en mole was so good. It was so good that coworkers that were passing by when I was eating said that it smell so good and kept asking me where did I got the dish. The mole has a little of spicy kick to it that makes it so good. The dish comes with refried beans and yellow rice. Option of corn or flour tortilla. And a small container of salsa for a bag of chips. One note that parking was hard to find during my visit on a Friday at 1:20 pm. read more

Amazing service and let me tell you about the food. My husband gets the menudo and I get the chilaquiles with meat with red sauce and beans. This is the perfect breakfast. I've been there 3 times and it always tastes the same. 10/10 recommend. We usually go like at 10 am and it's not as packed. read more

My daughter insisted we try their sushi. Unfortunately, e came too early. Sushi does not get served until after 11am . It was only 945am. Our server was very nice. She did not insist on us staying but she recommended the Birria Res o Chivo. It was amazing! I usually default to pozole when I see it on the menu. But I trusted our server. I'm glad I did. Best Birria! My daughter was very happy with her fried tilapia. It came with a generous serving of fried rice, salad and refried beans. The tilapia was crispy outside and juicy inside. This place has some of the best food around the area. Wish they had online orders that way I'm not put on hold having to hear an entire conversation with the waiter talking to her kid on the cell phone while I'm waiting to finish my order. I highly recommend the food the waiters service not so much. Been coming here since the old owner was around and still do from time to time sucks I had to experience this. Wow! Celebrated Mother's Day here and would definitely come back. They had the cutest photo back drop set up for pictures and The food was so good!! Mixed feelings. The food is good. The place is small. (Elbow room only) parking is a disaster. The 1st time we had great service. Recently visited again and we left without dining. The server/cashier was extremely rude and spoke in a disrespectful tone. My suggestion is : avoid the middle aged heavy set/larger female. It ruined our desire to ever return. Such a shame as they have a lot of my ancestral dishes including Uchepes. read more

Good food, great test but really bad phone orders! If you order in Spanish or English it doesn't matter the girls that take orders don't have a good understanding of either language. If you order menudo with "pata" they give you me menudo with "PAPA"= potato really not kidding how is that possible! I have many more stories. I keep ordering because I like the food not the service. Great food. We've been going there for many years and were so excited when it opened for delivery. The only negative I can make is that with the delivery fee imposed by the restaurant AND the Grubhub fee the meals comes out to be expensive; much more so than some of the other similar choices on Doordash. Just wanted to let you guys know before you pay attention to the other reviews like I did. I don't like to leave bad reviews for location that are in my city because I like them prospering. Here it goes, I went for my birthday I know first time I should've went to a reliable place but wanted to be adventurous. I felt like eating mariscos. The waitress was awesome very attentive this why I gave them two stars. The food was horrible I won't lie once I tasted the bottom of the juice from the mariscos I stopped dead in my tracks. Oh man I'm going to be sick. The salsa was frozen so it had no taste because it was water down. The only thing that I will say was really good was the micheleda and the waitress she was very nice. One of the other people I came with who ate the "fish" taco said it was a bit of fish covered in batter. I am very sorry for this honest review and I will try it in the future but I hope you guys can change. Cause those waitress where really working hard. read more

I give this restaurant zero stars. I placed an order on Uber eats expecting this place to be great based on reviews. I never ate here before so I figure give it a try. Worst decision, I ordered from the menu under "child's plate" a quesadilla meal which I paid full price for and they got the order wrong. According to the employee/manager apparently Uber eats "messed up their menu" which doesn't make sense to me it's obvious that the price for large quesadilla and child's plate quesadilla is different. Anyhow, well here comes the cherry on top I also ordered 2 caldo de res and let me tell you when I opened the lid there it was a FLY floating in my soup!! Yuck. Disgusting to say the least. I immediately called the restaurant and addressed my issues with my order and the employee plus the manager vicky were no help whatsoever. I was never offered a refund and the only thing they could say was that they couldn't do anything about the quesadilla meal but to stop by so I can pick up a new soup. Gross! We ordered menudo with pata and hominy (they gave us the option), the flavor was great, it had a decent amount of meat but only a tiny piece of pata. We also ordered chilaquiles but with green sauce, they were delicious. The customer service was great, we called twice with questions and both times very friendly. The to go packaging was great, they included all the items we needed, cilantro onion, salsas, chips etc. We will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again. read more
