We hired Mi Jalisco to weed and re-mulch the beds. In our yard this is a huge job. They finished ahead of schedule and even did extra things. In fact, my only caution to anyone reading this is that if there is a bush you don't want trimmed or a plant that someone might think is a weed not pulled you had better tell them explicitly because they move through your yard and do EVERYTHING so fast it is like a blur. read more

They were supposed to come for an estimate today but never showed up. Several texts back and forth to set up and then no show. ET read more

Highly recommend Sergio and his crew came and took down 2 trees and cut up 3 others and hauled everything away. after they'd finished you'd never know they'd been. great price and very professional. read more

We would not use this company again. The landscaping job was not finished as agreed. Several phone calls and promises later, they were supposed to come this week and didn't show up. We lost all 5 mountain laurel immediately. A month later, we lost all five 7 gallon boxwoods ($500 loss). Took them back to Colesville to see what was wrong with them and were told they were "old stock" and that they were not 7 gallon. We will not use Mi Jalisco again. Dishonest company. read more

Getting quotes last May for a relatively big hardscape project ($30K+) that happily we just completed with a different company. Called and set up an appointment and got a no-show. So I thought well maybe miscommunication, called again, set up another appointment. Again a no-show so a 1 star review. read more

The telephone # listed on yelp isn't correct. I visited Mu Jalisco's website and called the telephone # listed there. No one answered and the mailbox is full. So far, this is not a good experience. I can't even get in touch to ask for a quote. I found a "contract us" form on their website, so I tried that. I was contacted by the owner of the company about an hour later. An after after that, the owner was onsite and gave me a quote. There were some basic addition mistakes on his quote (in his favor). The price also was high, so I don't think I'll engage for services. read more

What a disaster. I read such nice reviews about this company and hoped Mi Jalisco would be our yard service for the summer. I asked them to mow our front and back yard. The price was great and they showed up as promised. I didn't even realize they were here until I needed to leave. The front yard was almost done, so I left the check with them before heading out. I double checked that they planned to do the back yard as well, which they confirmed. When I came home, the front yard had large patches of unmowed grass. These patches were not in little tucked away areas that may have just been forgotten. They were all in the front, easily seen from the road. The trimming didn't seem to have been done. But I became the most upset when I looked at the back yard and realized it hadn't been mowed AT ALL. When I called the company, the gentleman on the phone was very apologetic and promised that they would come and fix it the next day. They never came and I never heard another word from them. I have attached pictures of the yard. It is easy to see one or two of the patches left unmowed in the front. The back yard is mostly clover, so it is harder to tell from a picture when it hasn't been mowed. However, the clover is several inches deep, and the dandelions in the photos were roughly 5-6 inches tall. When the yard has been cut, you do not see the purple flowers of the clover. read more

Never completed the sale because took a whole for us to connect. Friendly owner/ worker talked to me on phone. Another company won my business based on their responsiveness. read more

They did a fantastic job! They were prompt and cleaned up everything before leaving. Very friendly. I enjoyed watching them cut down three trees! I was fascinated by the tree climber and how he made everything fall exactly where he wanted. I highly recommend! read more

Half acre yard, dozen 60'+ oaks and more next door, December with full season of leaves. Two men, 3 hrs, leaves on curb, piled high as the Highlander and 3x as long. Next day 2hrs with 3 guys and vacuum - leaves gone. Couldn't ask for better, faster service. read more

I called Mi Jalisco specifically because of Yelp and I was not let down. When I called they were very prompt to answer (I'm still waiting for a call back from other lawn care providers I called before calling them). They came out that very day (I called at 4pm) to have someone do a quote for me. He gave me all the options and recommendations for my yard and we settled on a bi-weekly care rate. The Mi Jalisco team was out the very next day getting my yard taken care of. As both me and my wife work 50+ hours a week it was very refreshing to come home to one less thing we have to worry about. The yard looks beautiful. I am happy. My wife is happy. And I'm sure the neighbors are happy that our yard trimming wont go 2 or 3 days too long because we are both stuck in the office. The My Jalisco team is extremely friendly and professional. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Certainly recommend them based on our interactions. Quick response. Polite. Professional. And got the job done. read more

Very quick response and affordable price. They have good skill to cut down very high tree in narrow area. Recommend for anyone need to cut the tree. From contacting them to finishing work only cost 2 business days. read more

The owner of the company is quick to respond. He is hard working and wants to do a good job. This is refreshing after some of the people in this field who are slow to respond. I would definitely recommend them for Landscaping. read more

I am so glad I found this company! They were very polite and friendly, did excellent work, and charged a fair price. On top of all that, they were fast! They gave me an estimate the same day and completed the work the next day--24 hours from my call to the job done. I was so happy to see how great my yard looked when they were done! I will definitely hire them regularly to keep my yard looking good. Thank you, Alejandro and crew! read more

Alejandro and his team did an super job with everything we asked of them. We really appreciated the little things like coming back and mulching where we had a shrub removed without being asked, and making sure the fence gates were always closed when they left to keep the dang pups contained. Very responsive and thorough. Would definitely recommend. read more

I hired Alex and his team to overhaul my front yard. I called him for a quote and he came to my house and met with me that very day. We negotiated a price and he and his team came out less than 48 hours later to do the job. My yard was so overgrown and outdated and needed some serious curb appeal. Alex and his team did an AMAZING job pruning, trimming, weeding, decluttering and mulching! His team worked very hard and for several hours. They made sure that I was happy before they left and I received a follow-up call from Alex to ensure that I was happy. I could not be happier! read more

This was a quick and easy job thanks to Alex's responsiveness. We are building a new house and have very tight windows of time. I had a two day window for stump removal. I called and he answered right away, got a quote to me. Once I approved, he had a guy unloading equipment at my place within 20 minutes. Stumps were gone about 20 minutes later. Fast and easy and a fair price. read more

I've heard so many raving reviews about this company from neighbors and friends. It would have been my honor to have rated this company with a much higher rating, however, I've experienced numerous problems with attempts to retain their services. Initially, I attempted to contact them both by telephone and email with little success. Two weeks later, on 4/30/19, I received an email apologizing for the delay and they promised to contact me immediately. I received a telephone call on the aforementioned day and they promised to come by on Sunday, 5/5/19 and they would call to confirm a time. To date, I have received no further contact. I'm so disappointed because I felt this was finally a company who followed through with the professionalism and integrity that you don't mind paying for. read more

I did my online homework and saw the excellent reviews for Mi Jalisco, so requested a quote. I received an email within the hour and they agreed to come out the next day to review the job. (Frankly, they were the ONLY company out of three to actually come out to make an estimate.) I felt the quote was reasonable, given the amount of labor it was going to take to remove the huge weeds from my flower beds, as well as to trim the trees and bushes around the house. The work was performed the following business day (I don't expect folks to work on Sunday.) and my yard looks great. I received a call the following day to ask if I was pleased and if there was anything they missed. I'm having them come back to aerate and seed. read more

I was referred to Mi Jalisco from a friend. We had them do extensive work including adding a good layer of topsoil, extensive landscaping, and seeding. They work quickly and efficiently. The only issues I had were that I wanted them to reuse as many plants as they could, but I don't think they reused any of them. What a waste. Also there was a very small section of edging that wasn't completed because they ran out of edging material. It took a few more visits before it was fixed, but in the end it was done. I'd definitely use them again. read more

I have used Mi Jalisco for years and they always do a great job. They are quick, thorough, efficient and professional. I highly recommend them! read more

I had a dead pine tree within feet of my neighbors fence and shed that need to come down. I contacted them in the afternoon and heard back within minutes from the owner. He had a crew leader out the next day to provide a quote and it was significantly less than quotes from competitors. The crew arrived a little later than expected on the day of the job but they finished the job very quickly once they arrived. They nicely cut the tree trunk into large pieces so my sons could patch their fort and placed them right next to the fort on the other side of the yard from where the tree fell. They also put the rest of the debris into my firewood storage so that I can burn it in our fire pit this fall. I could not ask for better service. I will definitely call them again if I need another tree down. read more

I have no idea about the quality of their work because they never got back to me with an estimate. After speaking by phone, they asked me to send pictures of what I needed done. Five days later and no call. I wouldn't let them work in my yard now if they offered to do it for free. If you can't even provide an estimate, how can you be trusted to do a good job? read more

They've done great work for us a couple times over the past two years, both when we first moved into our house and when we were getting it ready to sell. Prompt responses to communication and very accommodating. Also, they don't require contracts like so many lawn care companies. Highly recommend!!! read more

I'd love to express what a great job they did but, given I have yet to receive a return call after inquiring about their service well over 3 weeks ago, I can only assume they don't need new business. read more

I live in California and have a second home in Richmond. I was able to coordinate my landscaping by phone and e-mail. Alejandro actually answered his phone; something his competitors did not do. He was very responsive to every request that I had and eager to please. Alejandro even took before and after pictures so that I could see what he accomplished. When the job was finished, I was able to pay by bank transfer to his business account. This was a great experience and I completely recommend Mi Jalisco Landscaping. read more

Found this company through Yelp. Contacted number and received immediate response. Needed leaf removal from .75 acre property. Estimate and service on same day. Work was quick, well done and neat. We received a follow up text to ensure satisfaction. Not sure about pricing as we did not get another estimate. We will contact again in the spring for further landscaping needs. Great job. read more

I have used Mi Jalisco Landscaping for many years. It is always a pleasure to work with them. They are always careful, quick and efficient with their work.
