She feels like a familiar old friend to us. The restaurant is beautiful and cozy. We loved sitting in the bar area. We ordered: -Bread Candle, 10/10 super yummy and well seasoned. -Ceviche, 20/10 Fresh and delicious -Fried Deviled Eggs, 9/10. Creative and tasty -Red Snapper entree, 10/10 best ever! The crust is to die for. Maggie made an amazing suggestion to sub truffle potatoes instead of fingerling which totally made the meal -Rock Shrimp Pasta - 10/10 for me. This was outstanding, eat it fast as the sauce can separate but amazing flavor -Carrot Cake - 8/10. CC isn't my fave but even I can appreciate its deliciousness A must experience when in Rosemary, and request Maggie if you can!

We lucked out that they let us come with our two adult sons and one slightly younger since he was with his parents. Appetizers: ceviches, blackened crab legs, and butter candle. All were fantastic. Great flavor. Mains: I had the red snapper and took the server's recommendation to swap the fingerling potatoes for the truffled mashed potatoes. (Lighting in the picture isn't great, but it was divine.) My husband & one son had the filet, another had the pasta, and the last one had the pork chop. All were really good. Dessert: we sampled the chocolate torte, crème brûlée, and the key lime pie. All were good, but not standouts on their own.

I can only assume they are understaffed. While we have been to the Crafter before, we never have had a great experience, but we wait 18 months or so, then try again because we like to support local businesses. This was our time to "try again." I specifically ordered the lightly battered fish and chips on their menu. When it arrived at my table it was corn meal fried fish not even close to battered fish and chips. They need to use a beer batter; corn meal is for catfish only. YUK!!!! I had to send it back. My husband's burger patty was tiny and had the consistency of a hockey puck. Our onion rings were sparse and way overpriced, we counted them, it was a little over $1.00 per ring. So, this is it, we've tried again and again and now my husband, and I agree that the true definition of "Insanity" is "doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." Seeing the local sports legends memorialized on the venue walls was a neat sight since I grew up watching some of them. On this evening, I met an old friend and we were greeted and seated fairly quickly despite there being a full house. Our waiter was a little 'spaced out', but he was fast, efficient, and effective. He was extremely attentive and gave stellar recommendations from the menu. I had the Naan Chicken Philly. It was delicious. Not to mention, the gulf shrimp were an excellent appetizer as well. Troy is lucky to have an establishment like this and I look forward to stopping through again, soon. Don't pass through Troy without giving it a try.

Reviews kept saying the food was "fire" and "on point," plus they were close by and had something for everybody, so we figured it was a safe bet. Big mistake. We were told the wait would only be about 10 minutes, which was no issue at all. Then we got the text saying our table was ready... immediately followed by another message saying our name had been removed from the list. We walked inside confused, and one of the employees casually said, "Oh, I took him off." Great start. Once seated, the menu actually looked promising. We ordered two teas and a Pepsi, and somehow even getting drinks turned into a process. One glass apparently had a leak because the napkin underneath it was completely soaked within minutes. Then came the food wait. About 35 minutes for a burger, chicken strips, fish, and etouffee. Nothing complicated. Nothing that should take forever. When the food finally arrived, it was all lukewarm like it had been sitting in the window for ages. My etouffee literally had a film on top because it was cold. The fish was disappointing at best. The waiter specifically asked if medium was okay on the burger, we agreed, and somehow still got a dry, overcooked hockey puck. To top it off, the silverware wasn't even clean. Our waiter checked on us exactly one time during the entire meal. Meanwhile, the bar area was packed and drinks were flying out nonstop, so apparently somebody in the building knew how to do their job. Maybe the bartenders need to teach the rest of the restaurant how customer service works. Overall, if negative stars were possible, this place earned them. Terrible service, cold food, dirty silverware, and an experience that completely killed what should've been a fun night out after the game. Do better.
