Lack communication, didn't put in 2 of my prescriptions and I had to call to let them know I was missing my prescriptions. Didn't send in the correct paperwork for the pharmacy so my medication has been ready but I can't pick it up due to it not being PA'd (prior authorization, needed if you have insurance) it's been 10 days since I've come to the clinic and still haven't received all my medication I was told they were going to send over the PA yesterday so I called my pharmacy today and it still wasnt done. Definitely will not be back or recommend to anyone I know.

First of all, the doctor did not greet her or acknowledge her when entering the room. My friend told her about the issues she had been having for quite some time. She mentioned changes in her diet and overall lifestyle but could not pinpoint what was causing her health issues. My friend , in desperation, used the "F" word to emphasize the amount of pain and anguish she had been experiencing. The doctor became irate and chastised her for using the f-word. My friend apologized profusely and asked if they could move on with the check up. The doctor began the checkup and was very forceful. We think that my friend's bleeding might have been the cause of the doctor's malpractice. This is an area that has a lot of BIPOC. The doctor behaved in a disgustingly unprofessional manner.

She has blood draws in office also so no traveling to another location to get that done. She uses a portal after the visit to communicate results and next steps. I especially like that during her visit with you, she really takes the time to listen. It doesn't feel like she's just wanting to get you in and out to move onto the next. What I don't appreciate is when medical practitioners get offended when you ask questions, or challenge theories when it comes to your own health. It is my body and my life, I think every patient should ask questions and challenge conventional theories. I have a thyroid issue. I am trying to find ways to heal it. I have been seeing Dr. Horsefield for maybe 5 years now, and have noticed passive aggressiveness before... but what I recently experienced is clearly unacceptable. I saw him for my regular annual appointment 3 months ago. My TSH levels were too high, so I got on some thyroid supplements and we retested about 6 weeks later. The results came in and the TSH levels were too low. I have since readjusted my medication and sent him an email politely asking if he could order the bloodwork to retest my levels so I can ensure i am now healthy and found the right balance. His response was callous. I have attached a photo with the passive aggressive response, where he makes it clear that he wont put the test in the system because he doesn't get paid for "answering emails, ordering tests, reviewing tests, communicating test results and maintenance of records" ..... REALLY? Aren't those tasks associated with being a doctor? I would be happy to pay him, for me it isn't about the money at all. In addition, clearly SOMEONE is getting paid when I order these lab tests because I'm charged thousands of dollars for them. All I need though is the bloodwork.... and he doesn't have availability for 2 months!?! I'm extremely disappointed that someone in the healthcare field is so much more concerned about their wallet than their patients health. Also if he wanted to charge me a processing fee that is fine, but his solution is clearly not in my best interest to wait 2 months and potentially do irreversible damage to my body.

Even more special is that he remembered details about our lives even three years later, both medically and personally. It's hard to find primary care doctors who are engaged with you as a person and smart. Even morning labs were done quickly and efficiently. Never a long wait time for either. I feel well taken care of and my health is in good hands.
