Honestly, it was a little confusing for a newbie, so I called. The girl who answered was super nice, but English wasn't her strong suit, so we went in circles for a bit (I asked for stickers that stick on foam, she kept saying phone cases ). The one thing I learned from that call: "die cut" means the sticker follows your design shape, while "non-die cut" is basically a square or rectangle. In the end, I just ordered blindly -- their prices were too good to pass up! 100 non-laminated 2x2s for about $40 50 laminated 4x4s for about $60 Found a random coupon online for 20% off Free local pickup (no shipping!) I left a note asking them to cut the stickers to my design and hoped they'd get it. The timeline just said 9-10 shipping days, but I was surprised with an email the very next morning saying my order was ready at locker #2. Pickup was an adventure. Google said they closed at 5 PM, so I showed up at 4:15... only to find out they had closed early for Labor Day weekend (my bad, the email did say 2 PM ). The front door was open, but the inner door to the lockers wasn't, so I couldn't get to my order. I was sitting in my car figuring out what to do when I noticed the only truck in the lot. A man walked out of the building to leave, and I realized he must work there. That was Oscar -- I stopped him, explained my situation, gave him my locker number, and he kindly went back in to grab my order. Total lifesaver (I even gave him some wine festival tickets as a thank-you). The stickers? Amazing quality. They were a little smaller than I imagined, but that's on me for guessing sizes. I'm super happy with them, especially for the price. The shop itself looked really cool too, so I definitely plan to go back. Later, they even reached out to apologize for the mix-up -- nice customer service touch. Overall: local, affordable, quality work, and a shop worth supporting. I like what they stand for…read more During this difficult time, they've printed thousands of El Paso Strong t-shirts for the community and others not living in El Paso. They've donated proceeds to the El Paso shooting victims from the 8/3/19 tragedy. So far they've raised over $100 thousand for the victims. That's incredible! Although I haven't been to the shop, I ordered an El Paso Strong t-shirt and sticker off their website. They're swamped with orders right now. I was completely fine with waiting for the order. I'm interested in buying another shirt that says Amor por El Paso (Love for El Paso). I may also buy one or two more for family. I feel like their products would be great gifts, plus...it's for a good cause. I also like their El Paso Strong caps and stickers. I'll continue to support Proper Printshop. If you want an El Paso Strong t-shirt, you may have to wait days or weeks for one if you order online from them. Since it's for a great cause, I feel like it's worth the wait. There are others around town who are making shirts and products but aren't donating proceeds to the cause. I don't like that. If you want your money to go towards something meaningful, order from Proper, Chuco Relic and/or Viva La Mocha. They all donate to the cause. The Proper Printshop is one of a few local shops who have committed to donating the proceeds of the tees to the victims families. I really appreciate this since it leaves a sour taste in my mouth for any business to profit off someone else's tragedy. As unfortunate as the circumstances are that made me discover this awesome shop, I'm grateful to have found this place and it will now be my go to place for all things printing. After that, they completely stopped communicating -- no replies, no calls answered, nothing. When I finally showed up in person because they wouldn't answer the phone, my shirt was just sitting there unfinished. They told me to come back in an hour, and even after TWO hours, it still wasn't ready. I ended up waiting almost three hours just to get a sloppy printed design -- not embroidered, not the font I asked for, and not even the right color. And they never asked for my approval to switch from embroidery to a cheap print. They ruined my son's photoshoot shirt, they wasted my time, and they didn't take responsibility for anything. Even saying "it's on the house" doesn't fix the fact that they didn't do the job I trusted them with. Unprofessional, zero communication, and completely unreliable.
