After hearing how great this place was from many people in town, I wanted to give it a try. I am so glad we did! I got the taco salad and the quesadilla, and both were packed with flavor. The waitress was very attentive, and the food was ready quick. The salsa was not my favorite, however I don't like a lot of spice in my food. If I am getting Mexican food in Mountain Home this is about the only place I will go anymore. Be prepared for the food to be a little less "americanized" than the average Mexican restaurant. The staff is great too but there is a bit of a language barrier, so patience is a must. read more

Showed up 40 minutes before closing on a Friday night with a family of 4 and they wouldn't serve us. Said they were closed. Although they still had an open sign out front and hours said open until 10:00 pm (it was 9:18pm when we walked in). read more

Saw that they had five stars so we tried them. We had chips and salsa, very good. Asked for more but didn't come to the table until our dinner plates already arrived. The water tasted horible. The margaritas were okay. Silverware didn't arrive until we already were served our plates. Food was okay. Not amazimg. Tortillas were microwaved and over cooked. Over all an okay experience. Pretty good Tex mex cuisine. Salsa and pico appear to be homemade and were the highlight of my meal. Chips also were homemade and on point. The shredded chicken in my burrito was tender but lacked flavor. It just seemed to need kicking up a couple notches. The girl who waited on us was friendly and attentive. Service was very fast. From the time we ordered until our food arrived was only about 4 or 5 minutes. read more

Our food was good. I did 4 stars because the woman's bathroom toilet was really gross, and because the service was mediocre when we were the only people in there. Our kids food was ok, but the quesadilla was microwaved and chewy. read more

The whole family loved the food they ordered. The portions are overwhelmingly large, so you will have leftovers to take home! I highly recommend their chille rellenos. House salsa is a bit spicy, so wait until you get your drinks before digging in. read more

I gave this place 5 stars for several key reasons: 1. they do not use lard 2. they accommodate vegetarians 3. the food is authentic 4. the rice was cooked perfectly and not oily. How many times have you been to a Mexican place and left with more oil/grease than you could ever want? This place is perfection. It is a family owned restaurant and they are very pleasant. Our server came quickly and we sat quickly. They have a bar as well. I saw beer and Margaritas being served. We went there for lunch so I did not have alcohol. They also offer Military discounts. I had the Taco salad with pinto beans and my husband had the chicken taquitos. There was just the right amount for lunch. I can not stress enough the freshness of the ingredients used and the lack of 'oily' like food. If you like a little spice add the grilled jalapenos to any dish and you will be ever so glad you did. I added grilled jalapenos to my taco salad and it was perfect. Pico de gallo was on point. Chips and salsa verde come to the table with a side of pico de gallo. chips were crips, salsa verde was medium spicy and the pico de gallo was made with Jalapenos! With one lunch I am fan. My husband works in Mountain home and says this place kicks all the other Mexican restaurants booties! Give it go if your in the area. read more

Chili Verde enchiladas with chicken was great, chips and salsa solid. All the wait staff is extremely young they're totally acceptable and have one of the best entrées in town. Stick with this one you won't regret never tried anything else. read more
