Taco bell has better quesadillas than this place and who the hell told the owner that quesadillas are made with cheddar cheese? If they can't even get a quesadilla right then I can't imagine the rest of the food. I spoke to the cashier about this but she doesn't seem to care much about quality or the reputation of this place. Place was dead since I went late at night. The cook should be ashamed of himself for serving this type of food. The good reviews here are from people who obviously have never tasted real Mexican food and probably think dog food is tasty. I'm blown away by the star rating of this place. Believe me, this place is terrible.

I don't like the food here in mountain home and I was apprehensive to try a ribeye from a primarily Mexican food place, but at this point I had nothing to lose so I figured I would try. They made my night! I didn't care for the sides, so I steamed some broccoli to go with the steak and gave the fries and "salad" to my hubby (he didn't eat it either lol). I took off a star because the chips were hard and the salad was mediocre at best. But the steak was great! It was cooked perfectly medium the way I ordered it, nice and pink throughout the center and a nice sear on the outside. I was prepared to be disappointed and eat my leftovers instead, but I was so pleasantly surprised! The salsa was also pretty good. I'm a Latina so I would've preferred it spicier, but it had a nice flavor to it. Don't know if I would actually order Mexican food from this place, but I will definitely order the steak again if I can't get it from the steakhouse (they have actual decent sides for the steak).

I don't know if they're just against seasoning or scared of it, but it was THE most bland, tasteless tacos I've ever had. I'm not joking when I say there was ZERO seasoning on the chicken or the beef. Pico or whatever comes on it, also tastes like it's fresh out of a jar. No flavor either. Chips? Can't mess up chips right? Wrong. Straight out of a bag from some food distributor. I will say, the guacamole was decent. Avoid this place. I want my $45 back.
