She paid her $60 online, was given directions and class time (8am-11am) online. I drove her over to the classes location, we got there 5 minutes to 8. She gets out, goes to the door, locked. Lights off. No one to be seen inside. We notice another young woman waiting on the sidewalk outside and my sister asked her if she was there for the CPR class, she was. We waited, and waited, and waited. At 8:15, my sister walked to the next business entrance in the same building, and asked the business owner if CPR classes were given there. He explained he had no knowledge of what business was done there and he hadn't seen anyone over there in quite some time. We waited until 8:30, all the while my sister is calling the number on their website over and over, always being sent to a voicemail. She scoured over emails ensuring the time, date, location were correct. I even had her check to make sure it wasn't actually an online class, it wasn't. So, after a half hour I decided to jump on Yelp to see others reviews. More than just a handful of people expressed the SAME.THING.HAPPENED.TO.THEM. Apparently, if the class doesn't fill up, they just don't do the class. Sweet way to get money, I guess. Maybe make that a clause on your website in BIG BOLD RED LETTERS explaining that? Or perhaps contact the enrolled people 12 hrs prior to the class time to explain there will be no class since not enough people signed up? My sister had to call her bank to put a stop payment on her $60 so this "company" wouldn't get her money for services they did not render. Keep away from this "business" at all costs (no pun intended). We felt terrible for the other young lady waiting, she's in nursing school and that Friday was the last day she could get her CPR cert to continue forward in school. Way to screw people. I hope everyone and their grandmother steers clear of this ridiculous excuse for a business. I'd give 0 stars if possible.

Beautiful location! My boyfriend and I decided to take a CPR class here. We learned so much in just…read moreone day. We took a tour of the first responders area and were given the chance to ask any questions we had. We learned CPR and other first aid tips but my favorite was the AED lesson. After our visit we received our cards that certified us as Heart Saver's - First Aid CPR AED! Haven't had to use the skills we learned yet but we test each other on them, every now and then

I am completely shocked by the phone call I received from a red cross worker this evening. I have…read morenever needed to ask for assistance from this or any organization, but the propane has been shut off in my mobile home park for 8 days now after one of the homes in the park blew up and burned down. They had to shut off propane to the entire mobile home park to check everything to make sure it is safe to turn back on. They don't seem to be anywhere near being able to turn it back on and I have had to spend well over my budget just to get a motel room for my family of 4 to be able to take a shower and wash our hair only twice so far. When the female called back, she said it is past the deadline to get financial assistance but she could maybe get me referrals to take a shower at a truck stop (saying some will only charge $15.00 dollars for a shower. I live in colorado springs, colorado, and as far as I know there are not any truck stops anywhere near where I live even if I was compelled to go to a truck stop to take a shower. I am certainly glad I do not make donations to the red cross, I am totally taken back that someone who is supposed to help people would recommend something that could put victims of disasters in potentially more peril. I have stopped at truck stops in the past on a road trip to florida and just that experience would never encourage me to go to one of those to take a shower and she made it sound like a generous offer to pay $15.00 dollars for a shower x 4 people. It only cost a few dollars more than that to get a motel room and you can get a motel room down the road and not have to drive 60 + miles each way! Wow!! Disappointed in an organization that claims to help disaster victims. Sad and disgusting!
