Long story short he ripped is off and did nothing we paid him to but thank God for AllOut HVAV! Andrew came over the next day because the boiler stopped working again. He did his assessment, put a very detailed list of what needed to be done, and sent an estimate within an hour of leaving. I am extremely satisfied with the work done. He is now our go to HVAC guy! Our newborn and my wife barely slept through the night...it's now over 85+ degrees with my Central air on and we'll be staying in hotel....we need to hire another company to actually do the work CORRECTLY....Justin has yet to return any calls. Between the repair fees and accommodations I've lost over $800 by trusting Justin and Go Green Air. He first spent about 30 minutes checking the unit, then gave me the price and left to buy the part. After that, he spent another 2.5 hours fixing his car before coming back. When he returned, he spent less than 30 minutes repairing the unit and then rushed to leave because he had another job. While he was here, he complained that the attic was too hot and even asked for help fixing his car. The AC worked right after he repaired it, but it stopped working again within 30 minutes. Since he had already left, I contacted him and asked him to come back to fix it again. He came back the next day but did not really do anything. He said the unit was making sound and running. He didn't even go up to the attic to double check again. so he claimed the outside unit needed to be cleaned. He then quoted me $400 per unit, for a total of $1,200 to clean three units, which I believe was extremely overpriced. I told him to clean only one unit first so we could see if the AC would work, but he refused and left immediately. On the same day, I had to call another company to schedule service. I paid another $200 for the repair, plus $290 to clean the outside unit, and the AC has worked without any issues since then. The other specialist told me that DC Air had installed the replacement part in the wrong area, which caused the unit to stop working again. I found this company on Yelp and saw that it had a Yelp Guarantee, but after this experience, I no longer trust these so-called reviews and guarantees. It is better to find someone through friends or people who have actually hired and recommended them before.

The windows could not close ( a prime feature of these ACs), and they were completely unsecured - one almost fell on the floor as I was trying to tilt it to close the window. I reached out to several companies, quite wary from the previous experience. URBAN AIR HVAC, had a picture of the AC on it's site so I chose them. VLAD came that day, exactly when he said he would and competently reinstalled the units securely AND CENTERED THEM IN THE WINDOWs!! He gave me good advice on preventing air leakage, since the insulation strips were damaged in the previous process. He also guaranteed his work and committed to come back if I had any problems. He only charged his reasonable hourly rate, but I had to insist he get paid for the 2 reinstalls. I had the person on the phone double check to make sure they do actually repair large units installed in upper windows. The person on the phone assured me they do. I was told I could have an appointment 8-11am today with Jorge, and got a text confirming that. I texted back requesting that Jorge call me in advance if he thinks my window AC unlikely to be repairable. I got no response so I assumed the text chain was unmonitored. I rearranged my day, got up before 8am, and waited. At 11:15am, no one had come, so I called. The person on the phone was very apologetic and said someone would call me back immediately to let me know when the tech would arrive. I rearranged appointments for the afternoon. No call. I rearranged more of my appointments for the afternoon. I called again at 1:30pm: same apology and promise. No call. I rearranged more of my appointments for the afternoon. I called again at 3pm: same apology, same promise. In desperation, I told them I was about to write a bad Yelp review. That's clearly the ONLY thing that made them bother to respond to me because, finally, at 3:15pm, Brenda texted me on the same text chain (so the text WAS monitored after all): "I am sorry for window AC we usually replace them do not perform repair." What??? They had confirmed that they DO perform such repairs. And even if the phone person had been mistaken, they KNEW they had made an appointment with me 8-11am. But no one had bothered to contact me to tell me anything! They knew I was calling again and again begging for a response. No one WOULD have contacted me had I not finally told them I was about to write a review. They are obviously totally unprofessional and don't care how much disruption and waste of time they cause their clients.
