Now there's no one in the local office and you have to wait on the phone to get a call center to answer. No voicemail system to have them call back. I spent over 20 minutes on the phone THREE times trying to get a response. I ordered propane on 1/29/21 and still don't have it on 2/12. My tank is at nearly 5% today with temps around 10° this week and through the weekend. I called a week ago and after waiting on the phone was told they could only give a range of dates for delivery, but they "should" have it to me within a couple days, that was 8 days ago. They also charge $150 to remove a tank if I want to switch companies. Now there is a $107 tank rental fee showing up on my online account. I've never had a tank rental fee the whole time I've been using their service. Their price per gallon has been consistently higher than the current local prices from other suppliers. I was also told I would not receive any credit for the propane in the tank if I decide to switch companies. It feels like we are trapped! It gets worse the longer I use them!

It was a few days before Christmas and we realized our propane was completely out. This was a shock since two weeks prior we had 30%. We called our propane company and as always, we taped the check for the prior amount to our door and we waited. Pro Gas has no emergency number. Pro Gas also does not answer the phone. In fact we were told, when asked why he did not contact us, his response "I don't have time to make phone calls" We waited three days, and I finally took a trip out to that address you see up there.. 600 Aubuchon, Troy Missouri. Don't bother going there.. it's not a real address, there is no such number! So push came to shove and I told the answering machine I was going to do my best to get his attention. I called our local radio station and told them my story. It was less then an hour and the owner Paul called and he was very angry. I sincerely wondered if he was still in business. He told me if I had his money and I told him as always it was taped to the door. For 2 years this is how we did it. Then Paul said to me. "Three words motivate me, Cash in hand" WOW, I was shocked. Now if Paul had an issue with our balance, he should have called. But he does not have time to call. He does not answer the phone and there is no emergency number. Address is fake. But all of a sudden Paul wants to be nasty with me. Paul finally gets here and I tell him he'll have to check for a leak and he tells me "You ain't got no leak" I've been up here and serviced people for the 2nd time and you've not been serviced once this winter. I'm not sure what Paul is saying here, and maybe he should check his records. But either way.. Paul checked and after filling our tank announces.. we do have a leak. I'm not sure what Paul expects to gain by his poor customer service and horrible attitude, but I know it did gain him this entry on Yelp. In an economy as we have now, customer service is the key. I guess Paul does not know the fact that AmeriGas will come and remove his tank, sit it to the side... place one of theirs, check all our lines and get us up and running in a matter of a few hours. Amerigas also offers 24 hours live support and has an emergency number on their answering machine. I'm sure Paul and Pro Gas are a small mom and pop company and maybe Paul needs help in the office. I'm really not sure and at this point, I really don't care. Just thought I would give you all a heads up!

I did not know they were the same business. I went inside to protest and grab a fountain soda. The syrup was out on many of the options, which was obvious by the abandon foam cups sitting on the drink stand half full of clear carbonated water. Manager said this business places a hold on all purchases. Absurd... three miles down 70 are better options.

The gentleman who…read morefilled the tanks gave them a good look-over, and said they were in great shape, but would need to be inspected soon. This summer I took the RV to a propane dealer in Valley Park and had them recertified and filled. Since R&M is closer to home, I went back there today to have the tanks refilled. This time there was an old man watching the operation. The workman was just about to start filling when the old man jumped in and said I had the wrong kind of valve on my tanks, and they couldn't be filled. This caught me by surprise, so I told him they were filled there last year. To this, the old man started cussing my tanks. Unaccustomed to this kind of rudeness, I asked if I could see the man who filled my tanks last year. Now the old man completely lost his cool. He cussed my RV, he cussed my tanks, he cussed me, calling us every filthy word he could remember from his days as a sailor. Not wishing to know how this would end, I rushed over to the office to ask for help. When the old man ran in behind me, they told me he was the owner.
