I went the following day to get my many belongings out of the van (which had been totaled by the insurance company). They were polite, had the vehicle behind a secured fence and two employees were very helpful in assisting me in getting all the personal belongings and cargo transferred out of the van to my other vehicle. They towed my car .5 miles and they had my car less than 4 hours. Charged $320 to get it out. They lied and said my property manager called and had them tow my car, when my property manager wasn't even on property that day. Then they lied and said I was illegally parked and that the fire Marshall said he can't turn around right there, in parking spaces. I called the fire Marshall and he said that was a lie and he has never said anything like that or instructed them to tow people from right there for any reason. Also mind you, there is no signage saying it's a fire zone or an emergency zone or a tow away zone or a no parking zone. They are legal parking spaces. They then told me the only way to get my car out would be to have my property manager call them and tell them to bring it back. So I called my property manager back and she did just that. She called them and told them they illegally towed a resident from an area THAT THEY HAVE ALREADY BEEN TOLD BY MY PROPERTY MANAGER MULTIPLE TIMES TO STOP TOWING FROM THERE BECAUSE THEY ARE ACTUALLY PARKING SPACES, but yet they towed me anyways. I was only parked for 15 minutes while unloading my freaking groceries out of my car and carrying them upstairs with my child. After my property manager called them they said that they never told me to have her call them to release my car. She said well this is my resident and you need to give me our options to get her car back since y'all took it without permission (BECAUSE MIND YOU THEY HAVE TO HAVE HER PERMISSION AND HER PERMISSION ONLY TO TOW ANYONE OFF THE PROPERTY AT ALL FOR ANY REASON) and they told her that there is nothing they will do and they're keeping my car anyways and I have to come pay just like everyone else. When I finally arrived, I called them all out on their lies and when calling my property manager and putting her on speaker phone with them after they told me she never spoke with them, they backtracked and lied again. Even with her on the phone. She was so mad she was screaming at them and they were coming up with more lies and lies. All of the employees there are super rude and disgusting people. They all turned their backs like scared men when called out and confronted with the truth of their lies. When I finally got my car out of the car (ALSO KNOW THEY CHARGE YOU $2 TO PRINT OFF PROOF OF INSURANCE) I drove out of the yard super fast because I was mad and rightfully so... never came close to causing any harm to any of them... I had to pull around to the front of the building to grab my 12 year old daughter from my parents and one of the employees then parked his truck behind me trying to purposely prevent my daughter and I and becoming a hostage situation. My parents then intervened when they told the tow company how they were being gross and towed my car while I was unloading groceries and because of them towing me ILLEGALLY AND STILL CHARGED US was not able to be with my 19 year old son who was having his second emergency brain surgery in 4 months and has a very rare and aggressive brain cancer. Once told that, the employee moved his car but told another employee DYLAN to then chase and follow my daughter and I home to intimidate us and threaten us. ALL AROUND FREAKING DISGUSTING SORRY EXCUSES FOR HUMAN BEINGS KNOWING EXACTLY WHAT THEYRE DOING TO PEOPLE AND FEEL TOO GOOD DOING IT, EVEN TO THEIR OWN LOCALS. DO NOT USE THEM, DO NOT TRUST THEM, THEYRE HORRIBLE AND ARE UNDER INVESTIGATION AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY. WHATS EVEN WORDE IS THEY KNOW WHAT THEYRE DOING AND THEY DO NOT CARE. She tried to lie and say it wasn't but you best believe I snatch that right back and signed and got a picture and still got a copy too... also they wrote down a completely different excuse on the receipt as to why they towed me versus what they told my property manager and I. They're scammers to the max and they lie out their butt more than anyone I've even seen and they still try to threaten, hold hostage and intimidate women and small children. GROSSSSSSS! Been a week since informing Christian Brothers that a competent third party has suggested that the…read moreshift linkage was the issue with my Ford Ranger that is under warranty that I spent over $5,500 with Christian Brothers to have repaired has not received any reply. Pathetic comes to mind. Other words like trustworthiness, dependability, customer service, reliability, and honesty; keep coming to mind also. Mistaking "Christian" in the name was my mistake. Christians honor those words like they are part of scripture. Being a partly disabled senior that depends on dependable transportation, I placed myself into a dire financial situation, going into debt, and now have my dependable means of transportation sitting out there in the drive because of incompetent people who told me to drive it until it breaks being the only means of having it properly repaired. Sound very asinine to me. Three times it was "Check out" and three times returned without being repaired or even reasonably diagnosed. Noticing my distress and anxiety, my Preacher asked what was going on? After explaining the difficulties I was having with CB and my truck, he suggested the shift linkage was the problem. After church, he and I did several tests, the same I did in front of the CB manager, and he pointed out exactly what was happening and not happening with the transmission. To get confirmation, I did some research on the internet, and yes, the symptoms described for the shift linkage are exactly as what has been the issue all along with my truck. Word of mouth is the best form of advertisement. And I have a very BIG MOUTH and I am shouting very loudly to everyone to "keep clear of Christian brothers." All the more reliable shops around town have waiting list of days or even over a week. That was one reason for my error in judgement in the first place; I couldn't get into the shop I normally use so since CB had no waiting and I needed my truck to get around I hurriedly made a grave and costly mistake it seems. Sadly we are now living in such an environment where trustworthy, competent, and honorable businesses are getting hard find, and those that are still out there that do still have those qualities have so much business it is hard to get an appointments to get in.
