Pathetic comes to mind. Other words like trustworthiness, dependability, customer service, reliability, and honesty; keep coming to mind also. Mistaking "Christian" in the name was my mistake. Christians honor those words like they are part of scripture. Being a partly disabled senior that depends on dependable transportation, I placed myself into a dire financial situation, going into debt, and now have my dependable means of transportation sitting out there in the drive because of incompetent people who told me to drive it until it breaks being the only means of having it properly repaired. Sound very asinine to me. Three times it was "Check out" and three times returned without being repaired or even reasonably diagnosed. Noticing my distress and anxiety, my Preacher asked what was going on? After explaining the difficulties I was having with CB and my truck, he suggested the shift linkage was the problem. After church, he and I did several tests, the same I did in front of the CB manager, and he pointed out exactly what was happening and not happening with the transmission. To get confirmation, I did some research on the internet, and yes, the symptoms described for the shift linkage are exactly as what has been the issue all along with my truck. Word of mouth is the best form of advertisement. And I have a very BIG MOUTH and I am shouting very loudly to everyone to "keep clear of Christian brothers." All the more reliable shops around town have waiting list of days or even over a week. That was one reason for my error in judgement in the first place; I couldn't get into the shop I normally use so since CB had no waiting and I needed my truck to get around I hurriedly made a grave and costly mistake it seems. Sadly we are now living in such an environment where trustworthy, competent, and honorable businesses are getting hard find, and those that are still out there that do still have those qualities have so much business it is hard to get an appointments to get in.

TJ's loop was the last to do an oil service on my vehicle and yet, they did not want to claim the damages that they had caused. The dealership said that the drain plug was not installed properly along with a bad oring from the plug. They should've told you the issue before anything. It was their fault the engine on my vehicle seized up. It cost me $8000 for a new engine that TJ's refused to claim full responsibility of lack of practice. They may be fast, but their quality work sucks ass. And their claims management team along with the store manager are the worst.

I was charged for an antifreeze top-off that was never done. When I got home, the coolant reservoir was completely empty. I was also supposed to have my service reminder light reset, as clearly listed on my invoice, but it wasn't done. When I asked, I was told "we don't do that here." I believe in giving people an opportunity to fix a problem as they can't fix it if they don't know about it. So, I communicated with Manager Terry -- rude, dismissive, and acting like she couldn't care less. Maybe she was having a bad day, maybe that's just her personality. Either way, there's no excuse for treating customers that way. This review isn't about getting a call or an apology -- it's about accountability. Customers deserve honesty and basic service for what they pay for. I cannot recommend this location unless you're okay with being charged for services and products you never receive. I encourage this business to do right by your customers the first time and to do the right thing the first time -- that's it, that's all. Simple. Honest. This way you don't have to apologize after the fact.

I collected my keys from Midas and drove directly to Jiffy Lube and was in and out within 15 minutes. The technician was polite and understanding of my previous experience and offered me a coupon, yes it was a little more, but you cannot put a price on customer service, quality and just good-hearted people. Midas improperly installed my driver side front wheel and caused the studs to break off while…read moredriving and the wheel started wobbling on our road trip in the middle of the night. This issue could have seriously injured my family and I, but luckily where are all okay. If you value you and your family's safety, do not take your vehicle to Midas. They do not have the proper procedures or people in place to ensure your parts are properly installed back onto your car. You would think that properly installing and torquing the lug nots on your wheels would be important. On 3/2/24, I took my truck into Midas to get my breaks changed out prior to a road trip. The owner and the store manager assured me that all of the work was guaranteed and that they would take care of me. On 3/8/24 at 10:30 pm in the middle of Mississippi, the front left driver wheel started wobbling and I immediately pulled over. Upon inspection, I identified that there was one broken and missing stud and there were three lug nuts that were loose. Luckily, we noticed the wheel wobbling before it completely came off and caused a serious wreck. Our truck was towed and taken to a local Ford dealership where they confirmed that the lug nuts were not properly torqued. This flipped our vacation upside down and caused 3 days of the vacation to be lost and thousands of dollars in expenses due to truck repairs, tow trucks, a rental car, hotel, and food expenses. During this whole situation, the Lake Jackson Midas manager was updated multiple times a day. I continued to ask to speak with the owner, but the owner never called and never asked if we were ok. This tells you that the owner does not value customers, but only money. The manager informed me that the Owner said that his insurance was going to cover all expenses and the situation, but I never got a call from the owner or the insurance company. There are plenty of other shops in Lake Jackson that would do a much better job than Midas and will keep you and your family safe. Do not take your vehicle to a place where the owner does not care about the safety of his customers.
