The trails are very well lit, they're wide,they're paved and there's ponds with ducks also there's a play area for small children! and every time I've gone there, there's plenty of parking and also there's plenty of restrooms and they're always clean, With clean water and sanitation is great! This is one of the best dog parks in the Spring area. Lots of space in the big dog park for dogs to run and hang out. Just down the road from Stuebner Airlines Veterinary in the event your pet needs medical care. Most all the dogs are friendly and well-cared for. Meters is a great park/sports complex but I didn't completely enjoy the dog park. Some of the owners don't watch their dogs so you get run over by other peoples pets. There is more dirt than grass so it's not a great place to go during or after rain. The small dog park is a little more secluded and hidden so if you have never been it will be easy to miss. read more

This is a great dog park that's easily accessible from either Meyer Park (north side lot) or behind the veterinary clinic (entrance on Stuebner Airline). The small dog park is well shaded with ample benches. There is a "watering" area where you can either wash your dog off or get a drink. Enclosure to get inside the park is very secure (you actually have to walk through two separate doors to get in). Small dog park is listed for dogs under 25 pounds, but I did observe some slightly larger dogs in this area. It's easiest to access this portion of the dog park by entering behind the vet clinic. The large dog park area is HUGE. Again, lots of shade, a water area and multiple mud puddles! Lots of oak trees, which means lots of squirrels (oh so much fun for your sporting breeds!). Adequate benches and trash cans are scattered around this area. This section is for dogs over 25 pounds, but I did see some smaller dogs in this area of the park. Access to this portion of the park is probably easiest from the Meyer Park (north side) parking lot - go all the way to the northeast side of the lot to park. Nice to have a dog park available, since for years there was nothing on this side of town. Many people don't know this, but the veterinarians from Stuebner Airline Vet Hospital bought this land along with the land their vet hospital was built on. They built a new state-of-the art facility and donated the land adjacent to Meyer Park back to the county for the express purpose of making it a dog park. A great gesture by long-time members of this community. All dogs that we encountered today were very well behaved and well supervised. There is a walking trail around the large dog park area, and I did observe people walking that trail with the dogs leashed. Make sure to bring a towel with you to dry off your dog in case they need to be hosed down (after a dip in the mud puddle) and, as always, be a responsible pet owner and clean up after your furry friend! Really nice dog park my son and I took his dog dare and his dog absolutely loved it. Tons of friendly dogs for the dogs to interact with. Great amount of space for the dogs to run and play and burn off some of that energy. We brought his dog home his dog is so relaxed and chill because he spent so much time having fun interacting with other dogs. They have water for the dogs, they have bags to pick up the dogs wastes, overall this is a great park. It doesn't get packed too bad. They have spots for the smaller dog as well as the bigger dogs. They even have a place we can take your dog to shower. Parking is great we really enjoyed this park and will continue to bring a dog there. If you're in the area and have not been to the dog park I suggest you check it out, you and your dog will really enjoy it. Everyone is very friendly. This will be one of our go to Parks for our dog. read more

I didn't have such a great experience at this dog park. There is a small lake and a bridge at the entrance of the park that is very beautiful. After passing both, it doesn't get much better. The dog park is not very big and there is little there. I guess I'm used to the beauty of katy/cypress parks near me, but this place is far from ideal. There was also a car that got broken into in BROAD DAYLIGHT while I was in the dog park section...only 2 cars down from mine. The car had their window smashed in. The cop that patrols this area was in the large dog park having a convo with someone while this happened. Not worth my trip out and most likely wont return. read more

Great dog park in the middle of a beautiful park/soccer complex. The dog park was clean and relatively quiet at dawn and dusk each day.

Took my pup here today. We checked out both the small and big dog areas. Definately liked the small dog area better cause there's no muddy puddles on that side, but both areas were nice. The park has a fountain and hoses for the doggies. My only complaint would be that some owners would leave dog poop everywhere especially on the pathway leading to the small/big dog areas. The park even provides bags near the entrance and around the park, so there should be no reason why owners should not pick up their dog's poop. Be courteous and pick up after your dogs please. If you can't, then maybe you people shouldn't have dogs in the first place... read more

This is a very nice dog park! There is a lot of shade in the smaller dog park, so we had fun while being protected from the sun. Parking behind the Animal Hospital is ideal as aforementioned by other reviewers. Very scenic and is overall very clean. Lots of squirrels and birds that added to my pups fun. I absolutely love this dog park! I'm so glad they built it near my house. It's pretty convenient! When you look for it at first you'll probably get lost because not a lot of people know that it's on the other side of Meyer Park without the playground. The parking doesn't close if you park behind the Vet clinic on Stuebner Airlines but the regular park parking closes at a specific time. The park has separate play pens for big dogs and little dogs too! (Which is kinda unfortunate if you have a small dog & a big dog but you have the whole park for them to play in I guess.) The park also provides little poop bag stands so you can pick up your dog's warm surprises on the floor. (Most people still don't anyways but it'll be nice if they do cuz I stepped on poop once.) and they recently added more benches on the little dog play pens so more seats to go around! :) So if you live in the area you should stop by for your little buddy! The dog owners are nice and don't forget to bring mosquito repellent because there's a mini lake near the play pens. read more

You can throw a ball to play fetch, enough seating room for everyone, water for humans and dogs, trash bags to pick up your dog's poop, trash cans, small pool for dogs to cool off, and two spots to rinse off your dog once it got dirty from playing. Nice little park behind the vet clinic. It's got a beautiful lake-side walk up behind the clinic and plenty of parking back there. If you approach from Meyer Park, it's in the far northeast corner. The dog park is divided into little/big dog areas and both areas have a lot of trees for shade. I've only been in the big dog area, since my little beastie is plus 40 lb. The park has a water fountain (once nice enough that the dogs actually use it) and dog washing station. There's also a hose inside to fill up a baby pool, but no large pond for swimming. There is a walking path so the humans can get some exercise too. This just opened earlier this year (2014) but a lot of people are starting to bring their dogs out. And they've been generally well-socialized dogs. I've been out a few times and it's never been just me and my dog. It was downright busy this Saturday morning. It's got all the amenities of a bigger park but is a great option for those in the Stuebner/Cypresswood area. read more

I've gone twice in one day. From my experience it was great. Lots of room, trees for shade, benches to sit and relax, and toys to borrow. Of the 3 dogs we met that day they where nice and played great with my husky golden doodle, Winter. The only thing I'd advise is that all the dogs if seen go in where pulling there owners like crazy and way to hyper. These things can lead to fights in dog parks with high energy dogs come head to head. Maybe take an hour walk before coming in. The dog park is to socialize not just exercise. read more

Very easy to find after reading a review indicating the dog park is "behind the Vet Clinic". We stayed in the small dog park area, so my opinion and review exclude the large dog area. Our Mini Aussie is close in weight and size to go to the large side, but on his first trip, we felt small is much more appropriate. The park is pleasantly kept up, setting aside the dog owners that don't utilize the free pick up bags at several stations. I liked that there was a dog level fountain and the nice sized area for play. I felt there should be more benches, there's only 2, for owners. It wasn't very crowded, and both were being used. I have to sit down every 20ish minutes. We will definitely return, and our Aussie did really good, well behaved and had a lot of fun! read more

We arrived with our family lab only to be greeted by a massive pit bull on the way in, then when we were inside someone had a huge Rottweiler that approach our dog with a slight aggressive tendency, then 5 seconds later our lovely dog was surrounded by a pack of wild aggressive German Shepherds, growled at us, then surrounded our dog and one gave it a warning bite on the neck. Knocking off one star on my updated review of the large dog side only. We have two small dogs and used to take them to the large dog park to help them socialize. Most times we never had any issues, for the large dogs were fairly well disciplined. We hadn't gone in a while and went recently because there were no dogs in the small park for my dogs to socialize with. We had a good time for at least 30 minutes until newer larger dogs would not leave my dogs alone and the owners seemed to have no discipline on their dogs and even got angry for small dogs being in the large dog park. We have also witnessed large dogs getting way too rough (even for large dogs). When I talk to other dog owners in the small park, they all agree that large dog side has some poor disciplined dogs and owners. I don't want to say all are because we have had positive experiences until the most recent time. However, some people with medium sized dogs end up bringing their dogs to the small dog park due to this reason. Just wanted to give a heads up to future large dog owners who are thinking of taking their dogs there. Definitely lots of energy! Hit or a miss with disciplined dogs. read more

This dog park was a bit confusing to find. It is behind the pet hospital. Literally you drive into pet hospital parking lot to get to the park. I loved the dog park though! It was clean and kept up. The other dog owners were very kind to me and my fiancé. They have two dog parks one for small dogs and one for larger dogs. I am so happy I found this! My new pup loves going to the dog park every Saturday morning. Although, it was a little difficult to find. It's located on the side of Meyer's park without the children's playgrounds, the huge pond, and the main soccer fields. The dog park is tucked behind the far right corner. There are two gated areas, one for big dogs (bigger than 25 lbs) and one for smaller dogs. Once you bring the dogs into their designated gated area, they are free to roam! The smaller dog park has a trail that goes around the perimeter of the gate, as well as 4 benches for dog owners to sit on while their pups play! The park also comes with doggy bags to pick up the pup's waste, as well as a water fountain for them to rehydrate. It's so nice meeting new people, as well as watching your little friend have some fun! Once you're done, you can leave the gate and there is a wash area in case your puppy got dirty - Mochi has so much fun that she gets dirty every time so it's always nice to bring a towel! read more

I love this park for my dogs! Worth going to & walking around. My dogs love the dog park. We went during the weekend & it was busy with soccer games going on. There is plenty of paths to walk, run, & exercise. Unfortunately we came after it has been raining for several days and parts of the dog parks were muddy. I would love to let my dogs of the leash and run but we forgot the towels. I definitely would come back! read more

I love this dog park! I just don't understand why you would bring young children inside the large dog park. I am an adult and when the dogs are playing rough having fun they run into me on accident all the time and children could get seriously hurt by that impact. I've seen dogs accidentally do this and it just makes dog owners feel like they have to leave. Which isn't fair because it's a DOG park. read more
