In my over 60 years of Drs I must say she is at the too of the list.I suffer from a very chronic pain disease and its difficult enough that there's no cure and more frustrating is 98% of Drs even specialist aren't knowledgable ,educated regarding RSD ,CRPS and the vast complications etc Not only does she know of it shes seemingly well aware of the seriousness of it which is beyond a relied for me as it is with all RSD pts to have a Dr. who does and actually cares She asked many questions and I felt like I was actually a person not a number Very professional but very kind,extremely gentle which is key!I highly reccomend Dr. Meyer and am so very grateful to have her on my team Very relieved as I am impressed ! read more

Dr. Meyer was amazing from the get go. She is friendly and understanding. She is very busy so she can be a bit quick during appointments but that doesn't take away from her bedside manner. I had a neuroma removed from my foot as an in office procedure and she allowed my husband with me the whole time to provide extra comfort. I have driven past Dr. Meyer's off almost daily for the last three years. I so wish I had gone to her three years ago when my troubles first started. Dr. Meyer has a very pleasant and patient nature. She allowed me to tell her the entire history and the ailments I've had with my feet and knees. I do have bunions but other than needing a padded sole, they've never bothered me. She treated my ankle pain and recommended Footwear, etc for good supportive shoes which I will review after this post. The staff is so polite and the facility clean and nice and Dr. Meyer is a bicyclist and has a tour gallery wall in the waiting room. So nice to see the personal side of a doctor and it sends a message of health. I hope I never have to have another appointment with Dr. Meyer :) , but if I do, I feel confident in knowing I'm getting great care. read more

First time I visited Dr. Meyer. We completed a form, we were seen within 2 mins of completing the paperwork. The office is small and quaint and demonstrates private practice. The office was decorated with holiday decor in the Waiting room and in the patient exam room. Dr Meyer and her staff were Very friendly to me and my 14 yr old son. We went to see her to ck on a wart on the bottom of my sons foot. We will continue OTC treatment. I was satisfied and put at ease we were treating the wart appropriately. Dr Joan Meyers is a MIRACLE worker! She did surgery and repaired my left foot. Its amazing the difference!I am a Flight Attendant. I'm on my feet all of the time and for long hours. I was very dissapointed with my visit. I went to Dr. Meyer with what I knew to be plantar fasciitis and she made me walk up and down a hall, took notes then taped my feet and sent me home. Didn't confirm or deny the diagnosis, didn't give me anything for the pain and left me feeling like it was a waste of my time. I later went to a doctor in Orange County (Dr. Devin Glazer)who took a sonogram of my foot to show me where the problem was, explained the condition, gave me a night boot to wear, ordered physical therapy, fit me for orthotics and prescribed me a pain killer. I've seen Dr. Meyer before for a couple of "hammertoe" surgeries...absolutely loved her! But another reason I'm writing about her, is her accommodating nurturing ways. 2 weeks ago I went to Urgent care and found I had broken my foot in 3 places. My new insurance gave me a referral for Dr Metros but he wouldn't see me for 10 days! I was told to keep the boot on and all would be fine until he saw me, although I was informed by the Urgent Care Dr. that I would probably need pins to stabilize the breaks. I contacted my insurance and insisted on a referral for Dr Meyer. I was able to get in and have the surgery to pin the bones BEFORE the original appointment I would have had with Metros. Dr Meyer was booked, but was able to make time for urgent matters like mine. She is very caring, informative and funny. I'd break my foot again, just so she could care for me ;) read more

I absolutely love this Lady. Had an ongoing 3-4 year battle with my feet. Learned to live with it and the pain. But enough is enough and I finally went in. I was given two injections and a follow up a month later. Can absolutely say she is a "life changer." For the first time since I can remember, I step out of bed pain free. I forgot how good that actually feels. We take that for granted and I will never do that again. I also have picked up my custom orthotics and they are great. Not only is she great but her staff is equally caring and very knowledgeable. I would recommend her to anyone that wants to get treated with respect and in a very knowledgeable and caring manner. Dr. Meyer is awesome. The best. She is such a great person and a phenomenal doctor. The only problem with Dr. Meyer is her schedule. It takes too long to get in to see her. When you have an ingrown toenail and it is killing you, asking you to wait 3 weeks for the next opening is not reasonable. Maybe she could set aside 1-2 hours each day to schedule emergencies in. Hiring another doctor might not be a bad idea ether but then you may not get Dr. Meyer when you go in for your appointment and that would e a shame. Dr. Meyer, I say set aside an hour or two each day you are open, don't schedule patients for those times, and use that time to get the emergency patients in the same day instead of asking them to wait 2-3 weeks. I am afraid if you don't, more than a few patients will have to go else where for help and that would be a true shame. read more

Dr. Meyers is the most amazing Doctor and woman. She is very professional but yet so compassionate. We need more Doctors like her. She helped me with my Plantar Fasciitis, heel spur and tendon issues. I will have to say it took me 3 weeks to get an appointment because she is extremely busy, it was well worth the wait though. When u arrive in the office you can barely sit down before the nurse calls you back to the exam room, shortly after that Dr Meyers come in and treats you. I have never been to a Doctors office in which your in and out in 30 minutes. Its amazing!! Dr Meyers is such a wonderful Doctor and human being. She treats you like your her friend or family. My pain lasted months and months but Dr Meyers was able to fix me up within 3 weeks. She was very compassionate to the pain I was suffering with and was very attentive to every detail. I found Dr. Meyer via a Yelp search and scheduled an appointment. New-patient induction process was straightforward and efficient. Wait was short and result of good scheduling procedures. Prep to see the doctor went smoothly. Dr. Meyer walked in and engaged me as a person right away. She asked knowledgeable questions and LISTENED. Examined the foot and asked more questions. She produced a diagnosis, gave cause explanation, and suggested a treatment. I agreed with the treatment, and am glad I did. It worked as advertised both in effectiveness and timeframe.
