Second, I had to go back in (take off more work) because she didn't file my tooth down correctly so my bite was uneven for days. Third, she didn't fill in my filling all the way so now there is a discolored hole on my tooth. It is extremely hard to floss where there was a filling done. The dentist is extremely anxiety inducing for me and this experience was horrible. I have had months to sit on this experience and I still feel the same exact way as when it first happened.

They both had old fillings that broke away. I walked out absolutely shell shocked. When I got their very aggressive "treatment plan", I was looking at almost $12K for numerous things from the deep cleaning to crowning 6 teeth, including the 2 with the broken fillings over 7 visits. The Dentist also suggested, that since the tooth in front wasnt "repairable" in her mind and I already had a crown two teeth over, that I might want to crown the 2 healthy teeth on either side so all 4 would match. Healthy teeth crowned???? I decided to get a 2nd opinion with a holistic dentist just up the road. The complete "treatment plan" came to $3500. The 2 teeth the Dr Mohn wanted to crown were repaired and the fillings replaced. 3 of my teeth she wanted to crown, were fixed by the holistic dentist who takes a much more conservative approach. People just need to be aware before they walk in the door as a potential new client.

In any event, I had my first appointment at Overland Park Modern Dentistry on approximately October 9, 2024, and had a great experience. Dr. Sheth and the whole staff were very professional, thorough, and gave me information about costs right up front. I was going to be needing a crown (Dr. Sheth showed me on the xray what was going on and I'm familiar enough with the process to understand) and chose to have the entire process completed two days later. It took less than two hours. I'll definitely be using Overland Park Modern Dentistry as my regular dentist and highly recommend them.

He answered all my questions and was patient with me since I am younger. He helped me make an appointment for my wisdom teeth removal for tomorrow which is nice! Quick and easy. I told my mom I made an appointment and she read the reviews and wanted me to cancel. Although there are really good reviews which made me want to give it a try, there are also bad ones having to do with money which is a red flag. The medical field shouldn't be all about money which unfortunately it is. Hopefully this business can improve where it's needed! Anyways, again Aaron was great and deserves a good review.
