You will always see everyone doing anything that needs to be done, there is no "that's not my job" type of people here and it shows! Today I had a fill and got fitted for their whitening program that I am so excited to get started. I heard about this practice from a great friend who now brings her daughter and I can say my daughter will be coming here too! Everyone in the office is beautiful inside and out. I have never waited more than 2-3 minutes in the lobby before being called back to a room for my appointment, and once I'm in a room, I'm treated with so much kindness and comfort that I forget I'm even at the dentist. Everyone who works at Rhoades is incredibly well trained, gentle with their tools, and they explain everything that is happening thoroughly as it happens. In addition to the amazing ladies who work at Rhoades, holy cow they have top of the line equipment! From the X-rays to the cameras to make molds for crowns...(that's right-no more mushy mold making in your mouth!) they have the newest and best equipment. Bonus-they have every movie every made available for your viewing on the ceiling flat-screen. So if you're feeling like Napoleon Dynamite might be your jam while getting your new crown, this is your place!

And get this: instead of awful elevator muzak, they've got Dave Matthews Band and Pearl Jam softly serenading you--like your teeth are getting a VIP concert while getting poked and prodded. Huge props to Sherry at the front desk, she runs the joint like a boss; Jeneae, the assistant who's basically Dr. Thompson's right-hand legend; and a dream team of hygienists who don't just scrape your teeth--they basically give them a five-star facial. Odd! Also, since the practice was sold two years ago (approximately), the hours are less convenient. I always schedule my visit and my two kiddos visits together and it's nearly impossible to avoid taking them out of school to get their teeth cleaned. Pass!

They charge you for a full workup even though I wouldn't allow it. You have to pay upfront, I had full approval for a limited exam, but was charged for a new patient. Rotating specialist wrote something to effect that it was a limited exam, office would not honor billing correction. I even called a higher level of administration, to no avail. I suppose I should have gone to the state agency & reported their operating, billing & customer service policies. BEWARE! They may have some decent dentists, but they are a national or multi state corporate operation.
