This food truck is open today June 26th, 2025. Located next to El Toro Branch Library It is a food truck. The food is consistently fresh and good. Atmosphere: 2 Stars. It is food truck. You eat, at home or in your car. Weather relative. No place to sit Service: 4 stars good but not great. Value: 4 stars. It is a touch more than Chipotle Mexican grill Quality: 5 stars Delicious Cooked onions appear to be their signature My brother loves their hot green sauce.

I love this taco truck so much! It's my go to taco favorite and the tacos are delicious too. Not only is the food good but it also doesn't take too long. The taco truck itself is so easy to find and it has a nice little dining shelf. Must try!

I cannot describe how much I love Mexifornia Grill, these have to be the BEST tacos I have tried in Southern California. This food truck is located on Raymond way by the El Toro library and is so unsuspecting to have the quality of food that they do. Just a small green truck with no branding :) Tacos de lengua, Carne Asada, Mulitas, Carne Asada Fries, Quesabirria Tacos, the list goes on of the array of items I've tried and have absolutely LOVED. The staff is always consistent with service (nice and quick to get your order out) as well as the food being good every single time I come (10+ times since 2023). If you want some BOMB tacos you have to try !!!

My boyfriend and I tried a variety of tacos--Asada, Suadero, Al Pastor, Cabeza, and Lengua--and we were blown away, especially by the Suadero and Cabeza! They were so good, we had to go back for a second round and ordered three more of each--for both of us! We also grabbed a couple more Asada and Al Pastor tacos, which were equally flavorful and satisfying. This spot has officially become our new go-to for Taco Tuesdays! The staff was super friendly--especially the young guy working there. He took the time to chat with us and even recommended the Carne Asada Torta as his personal favorite. We'll definitely be back to try that next time! Btw, it seems like they have two different names: Mexifornia Grill and Raffas Tacos. Not sure which one is the correct one since we found this via Raffas Tacos. This place is also NOT CLOSED. It's open as of today 07/19/2025. They say they're open everyday 4pm-1am with inconsistent Mondays. UPDATE: I went there again and tried the shrimp tacos and holy smokes, it was so good! The shrimp tacos do come with melted cheese and I didn't know that so I let them know I'd like it without it and they were extremely nice enough to remake it without extra charge. I LOVE LOVE their habanero sauce! It pairs so well the shrimp tacos but I definitely had to go back for Cabeza and Suadero tacos again. They never disappoint

This is what the food truck looks like.

Hands down the best tacos in OC. The meats are amazing and generous helpings. Taco Tuesday deals are a plus.

But good thing for the Yelp platform and the Internet. It had just sprinkled recently and so all the outdoor tables were wet. We were so glad that they also have covered semi indoor seating. Parking was plentiful since we came in the evening and it looks like this is the parking lot for a school also during the day. We ordered at the register and were helped by a couple different staff members. One gentleman took over since it seemed like he was able to explain things better about the menu. I ended up getting a fish taco and a shrimp taco. I should've asked, but didn't realize that the tacos were fried. I was a little surprised because most fish tacos I've eaten are usually served on a tortilla that is not fried. It was a little too greasy for my liking but still tasty! We also ordered birria taquitos to share, which were fried obviously. My family also ordered Carne Asada tacos and birria quesotacos. It didn't seem like there were any taco Tuesday specials for the dishes we ordered. The total amount seemed pretty expensive. Maybe I'll come back to try the ceviche. There are accessible restrooms, which was great since our hands were very greasy afterwards and the small thin napkins weren't sufficient. From the inside dining area, we saw a dance class taking place in the main church assembly room (I think that's what it was). it appeared to be a hula or Polynesian dance class.

We got two things off the secret menu: the al pastor volcan and the mar y tierra taco. We also got the al pastor burrito which had a subtle sweetness from the pineapple. Soooo good. If you sit at the bar, you can watch them making everything right in front of you. Good food and something to look at. So fun. Also loved the sauces. The salsa verde and cilantro salsa were both so good. Very much added the cilantro sauce to everything: it complimented the shrimp especially well. Also!!! I saw that they're opening up their first location in LA soon, Beverly glen. So excited. It was definitely worth the wait. This is our new go to casual late night dinner spot. Positives are you can literally watch them making the corn tortillas by hand and cooking some of the meat on a stick and the other made to order as you go. The servings are large and if there's not enough tables, there is a counter facing the kitchen, you can sit at. And all food is made to order. The salsa is OK nothing brilliant. The meat products used for the tacos, I had chicken and fish the first time, were OK but not exceptional. Because the food is made to order it does take longer to receive. And the restaurant always feels a little bit on the grungy side versus clean. Overall, this is an OK taco shop in an area that doesn't have a lot of taco shop options. I will eat here if I need to, but I don't particularly want to go back here for tacos.

Lupe's Mexican Eatery has a surprisingly fulfilling array of appetizers, plates, and drinks, though…read morethe main draw for me are their stuffed and voluminous burritos. I've tried several of the burritos here for their size, flavour, and variety of ingredients, most memorably the Lupe's, Hot Cheetos, California and birria burritos. The Lupe's is stacked with steak and bacon, grilled onion and cilantro, jack cheddar cheese and Chipotle sauce AND guac, so you'll love it as the mash of distinct savoury flavours it is if you love each of those ingredients. It's filling and fills you with both strength and fatigue to prep for or recover from a day of hard work. 5.7/10. Hot Cheetos burritos are something you occasionally see around for some reason, and the one's here are solid, though I prefer the version available at Primo's by a solid margin. Lupe's Cheeto's burritos do have an interesting compressive texture that I strangely somewhat enjoy. 4.4/10. The California burrito is a standard and very solid rendition of a classic. I would put the Lupe's version at above average in quality as they're definitely not mediocre or disappointing. 5.3/10. The birria burrito is just as packed and filling as the other burritos, but tastes and feels significantly more fresh as it consists of a juicy but light birria steak, red beans, and LOTS of chopped cilantro and diced onions. In fact, it primarily tastes of the leafy green, so definitely avoid it if you're not a fan. I enjoy it, though it definitely feels lighter and less satisfying to eat than its less healthy, heavier siblings, and suffers from its birria juices settling at the bottom of the burrito to be largely untasted throughout the eating experience, possibly as there isn't enough of it provided. 4/10. This spot also has a good salsa bar with particularly tasty sauces. My favorites are the classic verde and another, pale green sauce with a creamy flavour, both of which go well with all meals to varying effect. I like how the tortilla chips feel a bit cakey- it's slightly hard to describe, but they're not excessively salty either and fun to eat as a receptacle for the delicious sauces here. A solid spot with a nice, comfortable and fun, kitsch decorated interior, solid burritos and a solid selection of menu items at fairly standard prices.
