The tacos are so good. I got Al pastor. My wife enjoyed her chicken fajitas. The price was shockingly low.

Best burritos. The flavor of the meat with the combination of rice beans and cheese mix is awesome! Ask for the green sauce. On point!

Hands down the best "mom and pop" Mexican food in the Lehigh Valley. We are food snobs that eat out a lot. We enjoy fine dining and excellent food. This is not your Apollo or Blue, but a good honest restaurant that puts out awesome food. The owners obviously care about the product they put out, pride shows in every consistent dish. Mexico Lindo has won us over. Over the past 6 months it has become a staple for our family. There is not a week that goes by that we do not visit. The service is always excellent. The staff take their time explaining the menu. They have very traditional favorites including all the awesome Mexican Soft Drinks. We have tried basically everything and there has not been anything we did not like. The Mexico Lindo Taco and the Mexico Lindo Burrito are both highly recommended. The only draw back is that there are not a lot of options on their menu for vegetarians. That said, their Veggie Enchilada is OUTSTANDING. read more

I had a horrible experience here. It took the waitress 10 minutes merely to acknowledge us, and there were only about 4 other tables in there. We both ordered fajitas that took 45 minutes to come out- and even then it was just the plate with the meat and onions/peppers. The tortillas and sides (guac, SC, etc) came out another 10 minutes later, and by then our food wasn't hot anymore. I saw our tortillas and sides waiting in the window while the server brought another table drinks. A restaurant's policy should ALWAYS be "hot food first." My boyfriend ordered the chicken fajita and thats the only positive of the meal- he said the chicken was seasoned perfectly. I ordered the shrimp fajita, and it wasn't horrible, but you could tell the shrimp was frozen first. I understand a lot of times inland restaurants can only get pre-frozen, but you shouldn't be able to tell by tasting it. I would not come back here ever. read more

A friend and I ate here this past Friday. What a major mistake that was. I am not sure how people give this place anything but one star. First, the service is slow but friendly. It took a good five minutes to get our drinks and there was hardly anyone in the place. I ordered a ground beef burrito and a taco. When the burrito came out, it was huge so I was excited to dig in. It should have been called a rice burrito b/c it was primarily rice with this thin layer of inedible beef. I didn't finish the burrito. My taco never came. My friend had a chicken dish that was barely edible. During checkout we noted that I never got my taco. The female stated, "you got it and didn't eat or or you didn't get it?" Never got it. The cook came out, looked at the ticket and said, "Sorry" and turned around and walked back into the kitchen. I've eaten authentic Mexican food all over the country and for 5 years while I was in the Marine Corps in San Diego. This place is anything but authentic. It was disgusting. I LOVE Mexico Lindo. The food is just fantastic! They can be a tad bit slow sometimes, but so, so worth it. Their pork/carnitas is out of this world. Sopes, enchiladas, tamales are fantastic. The tacos are great. I tried the Steak/carne asada, and I was not a fan. But everything else I've had there was top notch. I go out to eat, so I don't care if the sign looks weird, or if they hang carpets on the walls. The food is great, the restaurant is clean, and to me, that's all that matters. read more

Thank god the food is good. I'm 43 minutes into my food journey at Mexico Lindo and have only been served a water so far. It took 25 minutes to get that once I sat down. I had to put the menu on my head to wear as a hat to finally get the attention of the lone server here. I feel bad, she's doing the best she can running around trying to help everyone but has no senses of order on how to tend to everyone. Uh oh, 45 minutes in and I finally got my chips and salsa!!! Five stars because it is delicious home made Mexican food served at really great prices in an unassuming setting. BYOB where the second B stands for Tequila. Sauces made from scratch coupled with fresh chips, two salsas and a free margarita on Friday nights make for a great dining experience. I was dying to leave this place to write my review because I came here thanks to all the good reviews. Jose the guy who took our order was so rude. First of all his shirt was so dirty. I can't look past that because if that's what his shirt looks like I can only imagine what the back looks like where all the food is being cooked. We had a few questions for MR. Rude Jose his answer to everything was "whatever the menu says" like really?!? That's the customer service you provide to the ONLY people he had there??!?!... The food surprisingly, wasn't terrible but the environment totally killed it for me. The place also had a funny smell and the dishes where our food was served were dirty. I haven't had much experience with authentic Mexican food, but this is the closest I've had to authentic. We've been here twice in the last two weeks. The first time I had the huaraches, which were good, but not great. The second time I had three tacos which were REALLY good. I highly recommend the Tacos Mexico Lindo and the chorizo tacos. They also have good guacamole. In my mind it's better than what passes for "authentic" Mexican in Missouri and is better than the tex-mex I've had in Dallas. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star is the salsa and green sauce seem to be made with canned tomatoes/tomatillos and they don't make their own tortillas. If you're looking for good mexican, Mexico Lindo is worth a stop. read more

Mexico Lindo is a small family run Mexican spot just North of the Main Street business district in Bethlehem. Tucked into the end of a row of houses, Mexico Lindo offers a small dining area with table service. It is BYOB and offers specials throughout the week like $1 tacos and fajita specials. The menu at Mexico Lindo offers a little bit of something for everyone. They have traditional and non-traditional favorites. The portions are large, the chips/salsa is fresh, and the service is usually good. We have eaten at Mexico Lindo numerous times and we have more or less experienced quality consistency. Typically my wife orders vegetarian sope's or spicy shrimp. Each of these items are freshly prepared and have always been very tasty. Personally, I tend to vary my orders having recently had tostadas, enpanadas, and or flautas. Each of these have been very fresh and flavorful. The fresh guacamole is served in a large lava rock and has always been very creamy and flavorful. I enjoy going to Mexico Lindo on Taco Tuesday and I think that the chicken tacos on a corn tortilla with cilantro and onions are perfect! Mexico Lindo has become a place that we go when we are on the run or our plans have changed. The small locally owned environment offers consistent Mexican food at good prices with quality service. read more

It's Time to Taco Tuesday! I had been to Mexico Lindo a few times for dinner and lunch, but one Tuesday night I stopped in there on the way home to get some food to-go. I was looking at the menu, when the friendly waitress asked if I had any questions. She explained that they had some specials that night and that it was also Tuesday and they had Dollar Tacos. That's right, One Dollar Tacos!!! That night they had four different meats to choose from so i ordered one of each of the Chicken, Roasted Pork, Beef, and Chorizo. I got home and they were amazing and simple. With only the meat, onions, and cilantro surrounded by two small tortillas. I added some of my home made hot sauce and they were nice and spicy. I have been going back every Tuesday after class to pick some up on the way home. Most nights they only have three meats to choose from (they don't always offer the pork), but the Chorizo are my favorite. Good Tacos at a great price! I ordered from here for the first time ever today and I was using a Groupon. I want to say, up front in an effort to demonstrate objectivity, that I made the mistake of not reading the Groupon terms and conditions, so that part is entirely my fault. When I got there, there were maybe two or three tables full of people so it didn't seem very busy. I was unfamiliar with the process at this particular restaurant since I'd never been there before and I've never had "authentic" Mexican food so I was a little out of my element. I was picking up food for my boyfriend to take to him at work. The guy who took my order was really nice, very patient and accommodating. It was taking a long time for my order to come out and he kept apologizing but it wasn't his fault and I wasn't in a hurry so I didn't think anything of it. When I'd ordered, though, I did mention about using a Groupon and no one said anything to me about the Groupon being for dine-in only. That being said, when my food finally was ready and I went up to pay, there was a different man accepting my payment, I'm assuming the owner?, who informed me that the Groupons are for dine-in only. Which, as I've mentioned, is clearly stated in the terms and conditions that I did not fully read. So, my fault. However, he tells me that if I pay an additional $5, I can use my Groupon. I don't know how ethical that was, but I agree because the Groupon was $9 plus the extra five means $14 and the bill total was $21 so ultimately I still saved money but by this point I'd waited almost 40 minutes for my food. A few other tables came in after me and were served while I was still waiting. I was surprised that there was no effort on management's part to ensure repeat business by offering to accept this Groupon (without the $5 upcharge), and just explaining that in the future it's for dine-in only. After spending almost 40 mins there I basically WAS dine-in. Also, considering how nice the guy who took my order was and how hard he was working -- by himself-- in what became a very busy dining area, I was GOING to leave him a tip, but that manager pretty much took that from him because he took my cash. If this was MY restaurant, I would have apologized profusely for the wait and accommodated the Groupon as-is in an effort to uphold excellent customer service. I wouldn't be so surprised if I hadn't waited so long, but I waited a REALLY long time for a take-out order. My boyfriend really enjoyed his food -- chicken enchilada de mole and the Mexico lindo burrito -- so we probably will get food from here again, but I'm not interested in dining here. I'm just disappointed with the (what I presume was) management's effort to please me as a guest. read more

The salsa here is quite delicious, both the green and red and oh my do they give you plenty of chips. Next up came the guacamole. Meh/blech at best. We happened to come on taco Tuesday where they offer dollar tacos. Quite tasty if I'm going to be honest. Not the best but good and for a dollar I surely don't have any regrets. Good, fresh Mexican food! The restaurant itself is small and without much ambience, but there is obviously care taken with their dishes. I got a trio of tacos ...Unfortunately they were out of tongue....but the pork, chorizo and steak ones were outstanding. I liked that they offered a more authentic onion and cilantro topping as opposed to the gloppy cheese and sour cream that usually spoils good Mexican. My partner had a Groupon for a meal here, so we decided on dinner one night. The place is small and there really is not much to it. It was a weekend and pretty busy, and the service was just alright. As we ordered we found that they were out of quite a few things. The chips were pretty good and fresh tasting. Their salsa verde was delish and the red salsa mediocre. I ordered the cheese enchiladas, my usual dish. I thought that mine was pretty good, but not excellent. I really enjoyed that they used crema and real Mexican cheeses. The rice was decent, but the beans were lacking real flavor. My partner ordered some tacos, 1 beef and 1 chicken. I did not eat them, but I saw them and they were not what I'm used to seeing in authentic Mexican restaurants. He concluded that they were not good. We decided to take some flan home. Although not excellent, it was good. To sum it up, I felt my meal was a 4 star and his a 2. They get a 3 because it is in the middle and they did not have some things we wanted. The reviews are consistent with first experience here. I had a truly magnificent Taco Mexico Lindo with fresh queso oaxaqueño over beef and "homemade" chorizo. It was totally delicious, and I am still thinking about it days later. I'll undoubtedly return to try some of the other things on the menu, which appear to be fairly standard "authentic" Mexican-American fare. One of my fellow diners had chicken flautas, which I tried and they were fine. When we sat down our table smelled strongly of bleach, which at least gave some of my more germophobic colleagues some peace of mind. We were waited on-after a fairly long wait-by the owner, who appeared to be alone in the restaurant at 11:30 on a Friday. It took quite a while to get our order in, but I was able to ascertain that the owners are from Toluca (choriceros!), and that they make their own chorizo, hence the quotes around "homemade". It took longer than expected for the food to arrive, but the process seemed to speed up when the incredibly friendly waitress showed up at around noon. They commit the sin of a television looking over all and the speed of service will not allow for many quick office lunches, but I'll come back looking for other dishes that match the quality of that taco. read more
