Fine dining at its best. We were able to get a table but, suggest you book!!…read more I honestly wasn't sure when I first saw the menu but, that quickly all went away after the first bite of the eggplant chips with raw beef!!! You could tell the chips were made with care and precision. I was wanting to order another plate. The first of our mains was the 1/2 baby chicken which was a large cut for one. I tend to eat the items on my plate singularly (I'm weird) but, this dish forced you to combine and I simply loved it!! The balance is obviously the main strength. The second main was the duck. I have NEVER had cooked at this high standard and the quince dressing was perfect with it. We were full after all this but we wanted to continue eating because the food was so delicious. I loved the chilli pineapple (with a one-punch) and ice cream sandwich, and the house made apple sorbet was very fresh.

Very sweet interior with mixed pattern antique porcelain plates and cozy environment. My friend and…read moreI started with the fennel salad which was crisp and flavorful. I had a seared piece of barramundi in a crab broth with greens and coconut rice, so satisfying and the broth was spectacular. My friend had the lamb ribs which were well prepared, and a very large portion. The only thing that was a miss for us was her charred kale and purple sweet potato salad which had a dressing too sweet for our palates. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive, would highly recommend!!

Juanita's does a taco night on the first Friday of every month. We decided to check it out tonight…read more... and we weren't disappointed! The shop itself is very unassuming - a diamond in the rough. Juanita (or who I assume is Juanita? Should have asked! ... ) was very friendly. She made us feel very welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. We tried the taco mix, pork and chicken tacos. The tortillas were rustic. They come with an array of sides (& plenty of them!) including a pineapple/cucumber salsa, a cabbage slaw, some diced onions, coriander, tomatillo with avocado and chipotle sauce. There was also a couple of Juanita's home made sauces on the table to use. We enjoyed it all! Although quite full we couldn't resist trying the salted caramel Cheezecake. It was really delicious, thick and rich but well balanced with the addition of yoghurt, honey, bitter chocolate and praline served with it. This is a vegan option FYI! BTW - Juanita's sells delicious sauces and spices to take away ... we just had to grab one. We'll definitely head back.

Cute little place with outdoor seating in the back. Our first time there this weekend, just for…read moretake away. The chorizo quesadilla was spicy and tasty! The chicken mole was the best I've had in Oz, as were the corn tortillas - the latter had real flavor and must have been prepared by someone who has eaten real ones for many years in Mexico. Don't be put off by the street scene outside. The place itself was cozy and service friendly.

The food was fresh and enjoyable really but didn't amaze me. They do sell beer and cider so u can have one with your meal in a hot night. Not bad overall I will return.

I was in town and felt like Mexican and I was excited to see a Mexican restaurant has come to…read moreShepparton. First impression as I walked up to it was OMG it is not a regular restaurant but a cross between Chipotle from the USA and Subway minus the bread. You line up, choose from the menu board and add extras as the staff build your mexican choice. I really wanted to sit down, do some work on the lap top and order and to line up, watch exact portions be added to my choice 'Nachos' gave it that subway feel, the portions for a somewhat pricey Nachos were very minimal, the corn chips placed in a heat bar style toaster with cheese melting did not give the feel to the dish and a few condiments added. I must say very tasty, good flavours a good range of sauces. I suggest you consider it is a quick lunch venue which is great but not for a sit down dinner. The seating is adequate with a mixture of chairs, high stools and those annoying 'squat' stools. Staff were friendly for opening week, but again it is a grab and go venue in my opinion.
