I also came here for some pretty yogurt bowls. I ended up picking green grapes, mangos, and strawberries for my yogurt bowl. The fruits were all delicious and the cereal gave a good crisp that made me wanting to eat more. The yogurt was okay but with the honey and all the mix in made it something I would come back to get often. I thought it was on more on the pricey side but they use really good ingredients. It will be more of a monthly treat. Overall, if you're looking for yummy ripe fruits or beautiful yogurt bowls this is your spot.

The layout of the store was very interesting because it looked like a mini market, and they sell fresh exotic fruits and snacks. Ordering a yogurt was a bit confusing because I did not see any pricing, but they had some instructions on how to order. Step 1: Choose dry Greek yogurt. Step 2: Pick up your fresh fruits (limit 3 items). Step 3: Choose Topping (Oats, coconut chips, or boom boom pearl). Step 4: Honey or Dark Chocolate My daughter picked a small jar of Organic blue spirulina with coconut dry yogurt. Then she picked green grapes, mangos, and strawberries for her yogurt bowl. And we also picked boom boom pearl for topping, and chose honey at the end. Then the lady told me that the price was $24.08. It was pricey. I don't understand their pricing or explanation, even though I have the receipt. She told me that it took about 10-15 minutes to make it. Honestly, for the small jar of organic blue spirulina with coconut dry yogurt, it tasted a bit sour, and I was not a fan of it. The presentation of the yogurt was nice; however, for the price that we paid, it was still a bit ripped off. The fruits were fresh, and the boom boom pearl tasted like popping boba was interesting. The Greek Yogurt was a bit too thick. I would rather go to the Açaí bowl place to have more fresh fruit and a bigger portion. The lady was friendly and helpful. But I would rather go to Açaí bowl and Yogurtland combined next time. P.S. I forgot to mention that they were out of honey, so no honey in the yogurt bowl.

You could get a membership if you'd like but non-members are also welcome to shop! I plan on coming back here again this weekend. It's worth the drive from the Central Valley to So Cal! I found some awesome deals while shopping. They had three large Korean pears for $3!!! That's such a steal. I was so happy to find my favorite fruit at a great price. Among my groceries, I treated myself to the viral fruit shaped ice cream. I believe it was $7 for a pack of three. I feel like it's a lot more affordable here than places in my hometown that charge more than half of the price for just one. It was tasty and I can definitely see the hype.

Cleanliness is basically what you'd expect from an Asian Supermarket. Best thing about this market is the 62 Noodle street, which is a really overdue review on my end Was trying to buy some items when we noticed it rang up as more expensive than what we saw. Cashier basically told us the price scanned is what it is and don't look at the tag saying we saw the wrong items tagged and barcode. She basically told us she can't do anything since that's what it scans as. I'm pretty sure I checked the tag so we went back grabbed the tag and brought it up. The barcodes matched so we escalated to someone more knowledgeable since the cashier didn't want to do anything. After 5-10 mins someone finally came up and said that's the price on the tag and they had to honor it. Took a lot of effort and basically the blamed corporate/headquarters for changing the prices and them not updating their tags. Not sure how that makes sense, but that's their reasoning. So be careful and aware of prices here

Some items were cheaper than SF market and other Asian markets around town. Great deals. There's even a bakery and hot food shops inside. Might want to buy fruits and veggies elsewhere though as many looked old and withered-not ALL, but some, while others were more "alive" and fresh looking. The cashiers were friendly and helpful. There was a language barrier, but I managed with the help of other customers and other associates who spoke a little more English. :) they offer a free membership card so make sure to sign up for reward points.

Are they closing down someday or just trying to survive? There used to be a retail shopping center down the plaza, but it's currently under major renovations right now, so not many places to walk around. I liked the grocery items and prices inside because they're actually much cheaper here than elsewhere. You can find familiar brands of your favorite Chinese snacks and beverages. Fruits/vegetables/meats look decent for the selling price. Vibes inside felt more like mainland China with some Taiwanese folks working nearby. Expect old fashioned style employees in this spacious grocery store that doesn't have many grocery shoppers in it. Employees look hardworking, but it's pretty dead for business operations. You can still find takeout foods and the tiny barbershop/hair salon is still operating. Don't expect lots of tables and chairs at restaurants inside. Better foods are outside. It just felt like this place is struggling to survive or may go out of business eventually. I hope the shopping center nearby opens soon to attract more customers to the plaza. They have old style deli foods and BBQ plates. It needs more life around here. When I hear HK2 Food District, I was expecting much better foods/dining options inside, but it wasn't like that at all. It's just an old & local grocery store.

Such incidents happens twice to us and the cars were filled with flour because of the broken packages. I am sure their loader work with a lot of anger with limited time given. They often let people cut in front of you because they know the person better or speaks Cantonese. They always take a phone order when they are in the middle of your transaction. It doesn't make sense but they do. I guess they are doing that knowing you are not gonna leave so they need to secure another order. Please don't expect any smile since they always look angry with bad attitude, they won't respect you as a customer or a decent human being. I don't know if the owner is paying the staffs right since you always get what you paid for. You'd be amazed how can their business operate. I can't believe I haven't written a review for Tokyo Central yet, though I've stopped by here…read moredozens of times - my go to is their sushi tray options! They have the BEST tasting salmon sushi/sashimi all around, at this price point, even better salmon quality compared to nearby sushi restaurants in my opinion. (Our Japanese native friend also agrees.) Best part is - 20% off after 7 pm!!!! But the trays get snatched up quickly. Too bad I'm not around the area at that time, otherwise I'd make Tokyo Central my weekly run for dinner. Their Kimchi Tako Poke is another regular we get, it's so good. However, recently, the only option I saw was the Shoyu Tako Poke - and I didn't like this version one bit - too hard and the flavor is not to my liking. Will never get it again. The hot food area has quite a decent selection, priced and weight by the pound, self-served. Often around 3-4pm, you may see 20% discounted packaged hot food placed out, whatever that's leftover from the lunch rush hour. Tried it a few times, but felt most of the food is heavily dosed in MSG, so I'd be selective on what I get. They also have sashimi party trays which require pre-order. Great pricing for the quality and convenience. Overall, love their sushi selection, and it's a regular stop for us. As for the market itself, there's not as much to buy, and pricing is on the higher end. However, they have a larger selection of some products that I can't find elsewhere, and sometimes their advertised specials are decently priced.

My favorite #1: Their eggs have golden yellow yolks, which you won't find in most supermarkets. My favorite #2: their baked teriyaki eels; you can make Eel Rice for the a small family with one package, usually between $25-35 but sometimes on sale for under $20. My favorite #3: their thick sliced bread (厚片土司) - each slice is about twice as thick as ordinary sliced break; very gratifying when they pop out of the toaster! They also have a huge selection of ready-made food from bento boxes to sushi. A great place for busy working people to get easy meal solutions!
