Good Box Organics is not only convenient, with the food being delivered right to my door, but is entirely healthy as well. The owners Samantha and Mark started this business in 2010 and have a mission of creating a healthier future. The best part is they work with local farmers to get all their produce and find multiple ways to give back to the community. They also have their Support a School program where they donate 5% back from every box sold. They have different boxes to choose from and different sizes as well. Some boxes are fruits only and others include fruits and vegetables. I went with the half size fruit and vegetable box. Before delivery, you get an email of what is going to be inside the box and the best part for me is, it includes recipes of what you can make with the items in your box. My box included an avocado, pears, apples, oranges, broccoli, cilantro, pink chard, and lettuce. One of the recipes included Baked Broccoli Parmesan Fritters which I am definitely going to try out because I always need new ideas for meals with having two small children. The delivery fee for their boxes is $6.95 or you can pick up the boxes for free at many of their local pickup locations. The service area covers the greater Los Angeles Area , San Fernando Valley, Pasadena, and Conejo Valley so definitely something for everyone!

The farmers are kind and good people. The produce is local, fresh, and can't be matched. The small team that makes this company work are AMAZING individuals. Sam and Mark are truly two of the kindest and most genuine people in my life. I couldn't recommend supporting a small local company more. I genuinely mean it.

I was planning an event for around 18 people and I needed to make large amounts of watermelon juice and cucumber/lime juice, so I was looking for a way to get the goods in bulk and cheaper than the grocery store. E&J was able to get me everything I needed, AND Lupe delivered it to my place on the morning of my event. It was so easy, and all the items were high quality. It's a travesty that there was only 1 review for E&J, because it's easy to look past, but if you're having a big event and you need high quality produce and fruits, he's your guy. I know he mostly serves restaurants - which makes sense - but I was pleasantly surprised at how convenient this was for my group's needs. I would use again!

Jose is very knowledgeable and tells you which fruit is in season and which is not. He is responsive over emails and text messages. I order from him the day before to get delivery the next morning. Living in West LA, E & J saves me a trip to go to the Downtown LA morning market at the wee hours in the morning with his delivery service.

Customer service is knowledgeable and friendly as well! I loved the entire experience and found myself smiling throughout the store! Haha! It truly was an excitable experience! International | What a variety of seasonal and exotic produce! I was amazed by so many items that I've never seen or even heard of before, including green almonds with the outer shell, which felt like velvet! I also saw some of the biggest heirloom tomatoes ever! I felt like a kid in a candy store, however, it was delicious and colorful fruit instead! I enjoyed every moment of discovering of new items! Variety is key | There was definitely a variety of price points, some higher than others! You choose what works for you! Inside | Neat and tidy! Many items were lined up ,which I love! The prices were clear, front and center! I absolutely loved that! There was also a sign showing where in the world the items were from, so cool! Sightings | While exploring the store with my Chef friend, I was introduced to another Chef and she was fun to speak to as well! It was fun, checking out the large tea section with her! Also, fun running into a recording artist that I listen to on a regular basis and chatting, as well as being invited to her upcoming event! What a fun & popular store! Checkout | Customer service was incredibly friendly, helpful throughout the store, as I interacted with several people who answered my questions easily, and with a smile! I ended up getting delicious, stuffed dates, sesame cookies, a fruit called mamey sapote & another exotic fruit, which I can't think of the name of at the moment (Total $26)! My Chef friend got watermelon water & the recording artist got coconut water! Overall | Yes, please! I'm grateful that my Private Chef friend introduced me to this market! I'm still thinking about a few items inside of the market that I would definitely love to try! I'll definitely be back and thanks again for the inviting and fun experience! Who knew a supermarket could be so exciting?!! Let's go!

I don't come here often because it's not too close to me but on the occasion, it's fun the stop by and see what they have. I can almost guarantee you won't leave empty handed! One of the best parts of Sasoun produce by far is their customer service. Every interaction here has been so lovely, it feels like you're visiting a friend or family member. Just their customer service alone is enough to keep me as a lifelong customer :)

One unfortunate aspect to the fruit carts is that the stock is typically hit or miss. Some have mango, some don't and it's the same with everything else, you kind of have a crap shoot when it comes to what fruits will be available. Not here though, the guy has almost every single day: mango, coconut, honeydew, cantaloupe, cucumber, pineapple, jicama, watermelon, orange. Every day, no kidding, and with it being directly outside my place of business this cart is pretty much perfect in every way. The gentleman that runs it is the nicest guy on the block. If something is a little unripe he will keep it real and let you know. Just this morning he sliced me off a piece of mango so I could judge for myself, very kind of him instead of just unloading the mango. I went pineapple instead. I talk to him in broken Spanish, he talks to me in broken English, and somehow it all works out. Bonus points for not filling the fruit in plastic bags either, he uses plastic to-go containers which are much easier to eat from, and no worries on it tipping over if you're driving. He has small $3 boxes up to a $5 size, and if you're a fan of fresh coconut water (like me) he'll crack one open and fill you a cup for $1. Everything that comes out of this stand screams 'refreshing', I love it. I know he works about 9:30A - 4:00P on weekdays simply because he's in the prefect place with a ton of office traffic, don't know if he works weekends. Look for him right outside the parking lot of the Wells Fargo, located on Washington Blvd. And don't forget to tip! I love this fruit stand and the guy who owns/works the stand is super nice, a professional fruit cutter and he's funny =) Like everyone else says, all the fruits are actually sweet and fresh! $4 for a big cup and $5 for a big box - you get to pick any and as many different fruit as you want! He also has salt and chili if you wanna add that too. I usually just get the cup and that fills me up.
