After contacting her vet, I was pushed off to a future date and the callous and non caring approach was unacceptable. I searched for other options and had come across the Quakertown location of the Bucks County SPCA. The treatment, respect and caring that was afforded to me far surpassed most of the experiences that I had encountered over the years at various Vet offices. I applaud the outstanding effort and caring that was extended to me. All of this compassion made a horrendously difficult and emotional time easier to handle as my beautiful Bella crossed over.

Prior to that we were waiting at a neighbor's house for cops to come watching the property owner illegally entering our RV and taking our stuff. As soon as cops got there he was all being a goody goody and did nothing but talk about us and lying about us the whole time. Then we left , stopped at CVS because I had an asthma attack. My honey called 911. They took me to Doylestown for a breathing treatment. I know after all we had just been through we both looked bad. We hadn't slept much and we took care of our baby girl feeding her, letting her drink out of her steel fountain. She loved it. Gave her her medications. Doylestown treated me like a fungus or something and kept refusing to let me leave without blood tests. I told them I had just had them done the week before. But they kept insisting. I told them to let me out because my honey and my kitty were waiting out in the pkg lot for me. Finally they let me out. They thru some mans cadaver suit on me and rolled me down to the lobby to wait . After I got picked up by my honeys mother and him he told me what happened. After. The ambulance took me. Cops showed up on scene, gave my disheveled looking honey who was a senior with a bad hip a field test. Then booked him for DUI. We don't drink! Neither one of us drink alcohol. Then an officer from spca showed up and took my baby stating she looked dehydrated and underweight and hair was falling out. They decided to take us to court for neglect. WE NEVER NEGLECTED OUR BABY AND I HAVE PROOF OF ALL THAT. She was my child . I kept all her bedding clean, everywhere she went I kept clean. Whenever she went in the box one time I cleaned it out. I put cocoa nut oil lightly on her skin to soothe it before that I used kitty wipes for her body and special wipes for her ears . Changed all her dishes and fountain to stainless steel and whenever she ate I cleaned them. Daddy made special tshirts for her to wear to keep her from clawing at her skin. I bought a warming pad for her bed and changed her bedding every nite. Before Daddy put her shirt on every nite he lightly brushed her because she was a long hair tuxedo. She was the runt of the litter so she was very small anyways. There's a part two.

They only accept debit/ credits cards online and unfortunately 3% goes to processing fees so if you can donate to them directly via cash payment I am sure it is preferred. Now the facility itself looks like an old large house. Enter through the front entrance as some of the entrances there are signs up that it is private resident living (assuming it is a shared property or perhaps one of people that helps run it live in that unit). You wIll be greeted by the person working the phone and computer system and they will inform you cats on the first door on your left and straight back for the dogs. When I first walked through to greet the dogs and give them some love and them me my heart sank a bit as it definitely looks and feels like they need a home to fill up the love. I tried to pet all of them, approx eight to ten dogs total. Seriously thinking of getting more involved as my favorite charity and probably only charity I donate to be honest is for animal welfare. If you can spread some hugs, towels, clean linens, animal beds, unopened pet food, or a monetary donation it will go a long way and I appreciate you supporting a cause close to my heart. As always people SYOY!!!!

When I moved to Chalfont from the Midwest, I had to start all over to find people I trusted. Thank you Yelpers for helping me make the decision to go with Peace Valley Pet Care! After I initially emailed them, I received a timely response from the owner, Walt, who setup a complimentary consultation with me. He arrived on time at my apartment, met my pugs, discussed his business and my future needs, then left me with paperwork to complete before the first dog-sitting visit. He was nice and professional. His company is also insured, so that was a bonus during my decision-making process. Walt has over a dozen employees who do dog walking/sitting, and I was assigned Kerryann who has been wonderful! I loved that I had a dedicated dog walker instead of getting a different person each time. Make sure you schedule services in as far advance as possible because they do book up. If you're a last minute person, or just knowing that sometimes things come up last minute, it may be a good idea to have a backup dog walker. That's what I did, and it worked well when unexpected trips or activities came up. Kerryann came to my apartment for a complimentary consultation as well! She watched my pugs many times when I took weekend and week-long trips back and forth to OK/TX for 6 months. She always sent me a daily text to let me know how the pugs have eaten along with their bathroom schedule (like who pooped and peed when, good detail for tracking). Sometimes she would send pictures! They are very flexible, so if you need plants watered, mail checked, daily dog pics (I didn't need them daily), that's all included with their visit fee. Their prices are comparable to local competitors ($20 for two dogs per visit), and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the staff. I highly recommend if you need a trustworthy dog-sitter in the area!

They lady I spoke to over the phone told me great things about him & told me to come in because he was ready to go home. I simply asked if she could reserve him for the next hour because I was driving from a different state to get there, and she said she could if I paid a fee for it. I didn't think it was really worth paying a fee since I was going to be there in less than an hour, so I gave her my phone number to call if someone else went to buy him within the hour. After speeding to get there, the ladies at the front desk told me he was already taken. They didn't apologize for not calling me sooner and instead tried to get me to take another bunny home. I was so upset that they didn't have the courtesy to call me or even have the decency to apologize. I'm all for saving animals, but I don't think I can adopt from the heartless people that work there.

The retail portion of their business is great. There's a dynamic selection of treats and gear for your dog, much of which you won't find at generic pet stores. Also, the quality of their retail products is top notch. Check them out. For true dog lovers, Cool Dog Gear is the spot. The first time we visited, we were given a tour by Mr. Rosenberg himself. It is clear how passionate he and the other volunteers are about their mission. Their primary concern is cats with severe needs, such as those with debilitating illnesses. Until a cat is adopted, they get the finest medical care at Tabby's Place, no matter how dire their situation is. All of their financial information is available on their website. If you're looking for a shelter to adopt a cat (or two!) from, look no further. I have visited many an animal shelter, and Tabby's Place is outstanding.
