We definitely feel that our children's health is in good hands here.

He went in and was never looked at by a dr but was given a strep test and a Covid test- they promised to follow up with test results and a treatment plan before closing on Sunday. We've never heard back from them. He was rushed to the ER the next morning because his throat was so swollen, he couldn't swallow. The ER Dr confirmed someone should have provided him care. At the bare minimum, provided him with the test results. They provided him with absolutely zero care or direction and in turn this ended up being so much more serious than it needed to be. If your seeking actual health care, i'd encourage you to go elsewhere.

The nursing staff that came in to take vitals were great and knowledgeable. They were friendly as well, making us feel very welcome. The Dr Reed came in. She was fantastic. She has a wealth of knowledge of pediatrics and has years of experience and has seen it all. She would talk about how some current trend started years ago and replaced another trend that came out of another trend. We talked about a range of topics and she answered all of our questions with ease and she was very present with us - she did not at all appear as though we were annoying her or driving her crazy with all of our new parent questions. The staff is thorough, including a doctor calling us at home, on a holiday, to check on our daughter who had pneumonia. I especially appreciate that you can come in anytime for ReadyCare visits - because of course children don't get sick on a schedule. Expect to wait if you come in for one of these visits -- but it's much better than our old clinic, where we were not able to get in for unexpected issues. Front desk staff has always been pleasant and courteous, and the doctors are fantastic. And, you can even get a flu shot when you bring your children in to get theirs. Our children are now teenagers, and they still feel well cared-for and comfortable here.

I never did see a sign that identified the building as 3800, I went to another address and figured it out. * There are various parking lots with signs telling why you can't park in that lot. *It was a walking maze, I met a woman who was clearly disabled as she could not find a handicapped entrance or easy entrance. * Inside I thought I would look for a cafeteria for a later stop, a few signs said they had one but wasn't clear where it was. Finally saw a sign that said it closes at 1pm. That's still lunch! * Restroom, just tried one, door lock didn't work properly, No soap in container, No hot air dryer, paper towel dispenser out of paper, no hot water. Oh yes there is sign regarding "clean hands are healthy hands". Found my waiting room which was pleasant and quiet and decorated in soft tones. Not much waiting, (I spent so much time trying to find my way it was getting late). I saw a specialist for a not to serious matter and felt rushed. I don't think I spent more than 12 minutes in his care. No one saw me out of the room.

During my visit, they told me I needed to do a follow up procedure for a test, which they booked for me during that appointment. After I went to the procedure, they sent me a bill for $2,000 and said it was because I was out of network. Mind you, my original appointment was IN network, so I didn't fathom that the procedure they booked me for would be out of network... had I known that, I would have just gone to Planned Parenthood and gotten the procedure done there for an affordable price? Then I spent the next year calling them and my insurance company trying to figure out why it wasn't being covered, neither Park Nicollet nor my insurance could figure why I was being denied coverage. Eventually I got sent to collections because it was taking too long to sort out, and now it has been a year and a half and I am still paying $100/month to pay off that appointment.

I called to interview a couple pediatricians while pregnant with our first child. He called me back right away and was genuinely interested in being our child's physician. Best decision we ever made. Our son is now 15 months and we wouldn't even consider changing his care. In fact, we like Dr. Salita so much that we begged him to be our physician as well. Although he was not taking new adult patients as the time, he still agreed. We would highly recommend him!
