I felt like finally my doctors were catching up with all of the things that have been pushed to the background for me over the years I spent at traditional medical offices. My first provider retired and I then moved to the Lyndale location and things began to change. My time with my provider was limited, It appeared to be a 20 minute maximum appointment. I intend to stay at Herself Health but I feel like someone is pulling at my provider's arm trying to get her away from me and on to the next patient for whom she will have another 20 minutes. This is a change from my previous experience at Herself Health. I don't like it and I feel like there's an accountant somewhere in the background telling my provider she needs to get on with it. There doesn't appear to be anything I can do and I am less enthusiastic about the depth of medical services I am given here.

We like the customer service and the friendliness of the nurses and staff all around. They do a great job of keeping the kids at ease whether sick or just wary of what is happening. Another big plus is the after-hours nurse line. Not only do they call back fairly quickly, you get a caring, helpful voice on the other end of the line that helps you sort out what to do until the office or pharmacy opens in the morning. When I checked in, they gave me an estimated wait time of 25-30 minutes. They were spot on with that timing, as it was exactly 30 minutes from my arrival that I saw the Dr. When I arrived, they confirmed my check-in at the front and by the time I could sit down, the nurse came out to get me and bring me to a room right away. My vitals were taken immediately and then I waited 25 minutes for the Dr. I felt listened to by both the nurse and the Dr and feel as if they sent me home with the right care regimen. If I need to visit again before the Urgent Care by my home opens, I will for sure be back! I like that they open earlier in the morning.

They respect my time, and if I have an appointment at a certain time, I'm called back at that time. I really appreciate that, and according to the receptionist, all of the doctors are like that. - Patient! I often bring up several issues and questions, and Dr. Dixon listens to each one patiently and responds. She's very understanding, and I never feel rushed. - Easy to schedule appts! They are always available when I want an appointment. And they're flexible too. Plus they called me two days in advance to remind me about my appointments. - Freebies! They give away these hand sanitizer pens and bandwidth sets at the reception desk. - Clean and modern! The office is up-to-date and always very clean. I feel like I'm in a new office that is regularly maintained and kept up to high standards. Bad: - For pregnant women, you always want the person delivering your baby to be the doctor you've seen throughout the whole pregnancy. This is a group of doctors, so if I go into labor in the middle of the night, then it'll be whichever of the four doctors is on call that night, not necessarily mine. Also, my obgyn is on vacation the week I'm due, which means I'll probably be delivering under another doctor's care, which I don't like especially because I chose this doctor for her high caliber resume. But, that's actually very common, so it's not surprising. Overall, this place is great and I can't recommend it high enough.
