Staff were very helpful & friendly. You have to take your time and look through this place just to appreciate it. They even have ashtrays mounted on the wall between urinals so you truly never have to leave your cigar behind, lol. They have a huge parking lot as they sit on a site all their own. I was surprised to learn that when ordering food (not desserts or drinks) you get a cigar with it. You don't choose it, they do. I got a 'Romeo y Julieta Reserve,' so a quality cigar, not some random nonsense. Not truly sure if that is every time, or just your first time there, which for me it was. I ordered their parm garlic wings & they were very good and well prepared. The space is great & very comfortable. Servers come to you and take your order and bring your food, so you never have to even leave your lounge chair. I found 4 cigars that I hadn't been able to find elsewhere & 2 cigars that I ended up ordering online in the past. Now I know where to find all 6 for future enjoyment. Prices on everything are fair. For 5 cigars, food, non-alcoholic drink, & tip I spent about $110 & got a good complimentary cigar. This place will be highly recommended by me moving forward.

I got great cigars and was not rushed out or bothered by anyone. I took my time to look at the huge selection of cigars. Once I was done, I was rung up and given 20% off because I was a member and the general manager gave me a free ashtray since there was an issue with their computer which didn't bother me much. The price was right and I ended up saving over $80 and walked out with 35 cigars. I ended up having a cigar cut and sat in their super clean lounge. I really like their lounge alot. The chairs are comfortable, the temperature is always right, and the people are friendly. Just waiting for the kitchen/bar to open so I can grab a coffee. The lounge is pretty big and it looks like you may reserve some areas. Overall, I really enjoy taking the trip out here and relaxing. This place rocks!

The guy was giving me a hard time and then at the register swapped the price out for a more premium piece than he was giving me. He tried telling me they were all that price and I just felt weird about it and walked right out. I don't know if was the owner or just an employee but the whole vibe from start to finish left me feeling like I wanted to do my business elsewhere. Montclair Smoke Shop is hands down my favorite smoke shop in the area. I've been coming here for…read moreabout eight years, and unless I'm out of state, I pretty much don't go anywhere else. The biggest thing that separates this place from other smoke shops is the selection. When I say they have everything, I mean it. Vapes, hookah supplies, glass pieces, pipes, cleaning and storage supplies, rolling papers, wraps, grinders, lighters, rolling trays, backpacks, and just about every little gizmo or gadget you could think of. If you're looking for something smoking related, there's a very good chance they have it. The customer service has also consistently been 10/10. Everyone I've dealt with here has been extremely friendly and helpful. If they have what you're looking for, they'll help you find it. If they don't, they'll tell you when they expect to have it back or recommend an alternative instead of just sending you on your way. Another thing I really appreciate is their hours. If they say they're open until 11:00 PM, they're open until 11:00 PM. They don't randomly shut the doors early, which makes a huge difference when you need something later at night. After eight years of coming here, they've earned my loyalty. Great people, huge selection, dependable hours, and consistently great service. Absolutely my go to smoke shop in Montclair.

"Holy Cosmic Tobacco Batman!…read more If you are a chronic smoker and live in NYS then you know it's probably cheaper to smoke weed on the regular than buy a pack of cigarettes. But if you're lucky like me to live within close proximity to the state border of lovely Pennsylvania then this Tobacco spot is the bomb! They literally sell cartons of cigarettes at state minimum prices and being only 15-20 mins from home this is the perfect spot to buy smokes. Pricing compared to NYS is massively different that making this trip is totally worth it but I will say it feels strange having to go out of my way for smokes. I almost feel like I'm making my way down the highway to meet a drug dealer. In this case the drug dealer is the sweet lovely and faceless nicotine who calms the shakes of the nicotine addiction. If you live in NYS, are addicted to that sweet nicotine aroma and are within 30 mins of this store you need to jump in your car right now to visit this place!

Oh boy...where to begin? I stopped here in a pinch on my way home from work, as the cigar shop was…read moreclosed. They advertised cigars, so I gave it a try. Proprietor was nice and the store was clean. The store is a combination head shop/tobacco shop/vape shop, so I bypassed the cannabis products as that is not my thing. This review is solely for their cigars. They had a relatively impressive humidor with some quality cigars, albeit at inflated prices. Again, I was in a pinch, so I made a few purchases anyway despite the markup. However, upon getting home, each cigar I purchased proceeded to crack and fall apart as they were smoked, indicating poor humidification. Whoever maintains these humidors: please get a handle on proper humidity, because you are drying out what would be some excellent cigars, and you're selling cigars that are DRIED OUT. It defeats the purpose of enjoying a fine cigar. Lesson learned, and $60 down the drain. Won't be back.
