Nice stash of smokes in their humidor. You can find some of top , hard to find smokes here. I stopped by twice and I've seen Fuente's Between The Line, Anejo. Liga Privada T52 and Dirty Rats. Caldwell The Last Czar. Padron Annis. There are plenty of premo smokes. Very impressive line up. Prices are fair. Folks are friendly and the atmosphere is laid back and casual. You are allowed to bring your drink in and sip while you smoke. 2 areas that can use improvement. The ventilation was insufficient. The cigars were too wet. read more

This is my far best cigar lounge. Yes, I know that the place is a little bit not fancy or high end looking but who cares about those since the place provides a good cigar. Reasonable prices especially the owner of the lounge is really a nice guy. You can bring your own whisky, you can even bring your own cigar but don't take an advantage of that! I love this place. I can get a good cigar, play games with good people, and they're open really late. If you're looking for me, i'll eventually show up here sometime during the week (after 9pm usually). I learn stuff from the other guys hanging out here, I'm probably one of the youngest customers. There are 6 TVs here, they play all the games. The humidor is gigantic with a ton of selection. Events occur at least once a month, where certain brands go on sale with a visit from one of the company's officials. There's a dart room, poker table, dominoes table, and plenty of other tables if you wanna just play some other crap you brought. One of the many TVs can also be used to play games if you ask. Pizza across the street is open late too in case you wanna bring some food or alcohol. BTW, i see that a bunch of the not recommended reviews are from other regulars. Nice try guys lol read more

The first time I came in they asked what my budget was and recommended accordingly because they didn't want me to spend too much. Very friendly staff, very laid back environment. Updating my review here.... Since the temps have plummeted this winter, the temps inside the store is freezing. Rich the owner of this store has been told multiple times by regular patrons here to get the main enterance door fixed (door does not fully close). He has not done the repairs. Be prepared to sit and feel a cold draft inside the store while trying to enjoy a cigar. Be back to this store when the weather warms up. read more

If you're looking for a cigar and you want a large variety to chose from; you need to check these guys out. It has a very large, walk in humidor that is well stocked. It's very rare that they'll be out of anyone of my go to sticks. It's BYOB; buy a cigar, bring a bottle of you're favorite adult beverage, sit back & relax. They have a total of 6 large wall mounted TVs, Sunday you can catch any of the NFL games. One of the only places that is open 7 days a week, and the only place I know that is open to 2:00 am every evening. You'll never be rushed out. The regulars are friendly & welcoming. Parking is typical for a business located in a business district; before 5pm street parking can be tough, but they do have small lot in the back of the shop that usually has a spot available. If you're new to cigars or looking to buy a gift, but not sure what to buy, ask for David. He'll take good care of you; he knows his sticks. read more

Dingy, smokey, hot, and expensive are the words that describe my first and last visit to this store. I was in the area on business and needed some cigars, which is why I stopped in. Fom the moment I walked in I felt like I was in S. America. It must have been over 85 degrees. Secondly, someone needs to fix the ventilation system because it does not work well. There was a disgusting haze of smoke throughout the store, and there were no more than four people smoking. Thirdly, the whole store looked dirty to me. Fourthly, the cigar selection is way below par. Over 1/2 the boxes were empty or were just missing from the shelves, and the prices are exorbitant. Finally, the person that was working hung around in the humidor with me while I browsed. When you ask if I need help and I say no, please don't hang around like you have to keep an eye on me. My automatic first reaction was, "damn, this place is smokey!" While smaller than Jamie's in Clifton, and frankly lacking the proper ventilation (two ceiling fans for the whole place), I had an incredible time while at Cigar Emporium. Cigar Emporium has a true North Jersey family feel to it, at least when I was there last night. Despite a birthday party going on at one end of the room (and yes, the owner's wife eventually offered me the last piece of cake), we were welcomed to find a seat anywhere we could. We eventually spent the next few hours BS-ing with a couple of regulars who turned out to know a lot of the same people my friend who I was with also knew. Small world. Bottom line: One of the largest walk-in humidors I've seen with an impressive selection and they made you feel at home despite the fact that it looked like you were on the set of a Cheech and Chong movie while inside. Came here last night with a buddy (Tim M.) to enjoy a night of male bonding and enjoying a nice smoke and beverage. CE is laid out pretty nicely, with a VERY welcoming crowd and crew. Obviously, I gave it 4/5, but there were a few negatives: The place, despite the reviews below about the renovated lounge, IS pretty cramped. There's about four stand-alone tables with seats, and the seats are almost TOO forgiving. They really give on your ass, and I found myself sitting on the edge of it the entire night. Small, but important detail. Second, the ventilation system they use isn't the bes - not enought. There's only two ceiling fans in the main lounge, and better vent systems down low, in the poker and dart room. Granted, it's a cigar lounge, and there will be smoke. I get it. However, there's a difference between going to a lounge and being drowned a bit in smoke. But places like nearby Jamie's have the HVAC systems done perfectly -- plenty of ventilation They don't sell food or drinks. The positives of C.E.: +AWESOME population of people - BEYOND friendly here. THIS is what really gave this place a 4/5. It was an owner's birthday party, and they gave us free beers and a piece of cake +BYOB -- GREAT for bringing beers, wine/Port, or Scotch to pair +Fantastic staff -- very knowledgeable and extremely nice, laid back guys +Humidor of God: this place's humidor is fantastic. Very cordial and laid back environment, yet had a feel of upscale. The patrons were polite as were the owners; who helped me pick my cigars and cut it rather quickly. I'm not an experienced smoker, only smoke Cohiba's or Rocky Patel's, but I did learn a thing or two while here. First off... we were looking from outside, not ever have been there before. Just talking amongst ourselves, me and a friend, trying to figure out if it was a bring your own stog kinda place, when an older guy with gray hair came out (MORE THAN LIKELY THE OWNER) and immediately said, u guys shy? We said no we're not sure if this is the right place we were looking for. We thought there was a place to eat and smoke etc.. he said laughing we're the only cigar place in Lyndhurst. The idiot then looked at our cigars (in the dark) And said u can't smoke those in here, where'd u get those?. We said we buy them online, (THOMPSON CIGAR AUCTION). He then started saying idiotic shit like your buying them for 50 cents cheaper for shit cigars(again it was nighttime, and he couldn't see our stogs), then says, why dont u go smoke them Online. Which obviously made so much sense. I then told him I actually buy them for 75%off etc. And we laughed it off walking back to our cars not really wanting to spend any time in his little"Lounge" especially with all 4 people inside. So in our opinion. If this guy was the owner. Or just a very disgruntled part time worker, he alone was worth it going elsewhere, which we did and enjoyed our stogies. Never again, and definitely don't recommend. Especially if the that piece of shit gray hair disgruntled idiot is there. by the way, Thompson Cigar Auction , Google it. Great Cigar Lounge, Great Location... I was pleasantly surprised to find this newly remodeled gem with wood floors, great seating and flat panel tv's throughout, not to mention a wonderful cigar selection. The new owner/manager is quite charming and very knowledgeable, he welcomed my buddy and me in, and I'll def be back when I'm in need of more cigars or just want to get away from the wife and have a smoke while watching a game. Went last night for the first time with a brother and friend. The environment is welcoming and friendly. Very comfortable chairs and BYOB friendly. The humidor itself is worth a visit. This lounge offers a huge variety of cigars for every kind of smoker. My experience was good but a bit of a learning curve. I had brought my pipe with me with the intentions of starting the night with a few drinks and cigar and closing off with a pipe. I bought my cigar and got comfortable, after lots of laughs and a few drinks I broke out my pipe and before even lighting the owner had told me pipe smoking is not allowed. This didn't ruin my night but it was a bit confusing seeing how the entire lounge was full of smoke and if there was ever a place to smoke this would be it, and every other lounge i have been too was perfectly fine with me smoking a pipe. I just put my pipe away and lit another cigar. Overall experience was very good and worth another evening. Whether you have never smoked a cigar before or smoke one every day, this is place to go for a good night. read more
