Staff were very helpful & friendly. You have to take your time and look through this place just to appreciate it. They even have ashtrays mounted on the wall between urinals so you truly never have to leave your cigar behind, lol. They have a huge parking lot as they sit on a site all their own. I was surprised to learn that when ordering food (not desserts or drinks) you get a cigar with it. You don't choose it, they do. I got a 'Romeo y Julieta Reserve,' so a quality cigar, not some random nonsense. Not truly sure if that is every time, or just your first time there, which for me it was. I ordered their parm garlic wings & they were very good and well prepared. The space is great & very comfortable. Servers come to you and take your order and bring your food, so you never have to even leave your lounge chair. I found 4 cigars that I hadn't been able to find elsewhere & 2 cigars that I ended up ordering online in the past. Now I know where to find all 6 for future enjoyment. Prices on everything are fair. For 5 cigars, food, non-alcoholic drink, & tip I spent about $110 & got a good complimentary cigar. This place will be highly recommended by me moving forward.

There are very few places left in the world where you can smoke cigars indoors while eating lunch…read more The food here is very mediocre ... and expensive! You do get a free cigar (which is actually a pretty nice, brand name stick in most cases) with your meal, which I am sure goes with the cost. Before the world went utterly insane with inflation ... It used to be one of the best deals ever. The food was $12.95 plus the free cigar! Now, it's more like $23 per sandwich. Owch. The best value was the cheese plate, which at $15 was huge and included fruit. Now, that cheese platter is actually smaller than it used to be and costs $44! The decor is pretty cool ... dark and moody ... but there are a couple TVs with sports playing and high ceilings. The air purification makes it smell a lot less like cigar smoke than it used to ... but know that whatever clothes you wear here will likely need a dry cleaning after. The waitresses have been here forever ... and there are a lot of regulars. Imagine what a guy would look like that would want to smoke a cigar while eating and that's exactly what you will find here as a customer. Fake Sopramos accent ... beefy ... loud ... gold chain ... It's a 'bro crowd' for sure with some flashy investment banker types mixed in. Lots of Hummers and G-Wagons in the parking lot. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves cigars. The food is edible and in some cases even good. But nothing amazing. I've had the corned beef sandwich ... don't expect NYC deli quality ... the flatbread (Trader Joe's is just as good) ... and the Cuban sandwich. All okay. The Cuban left me hungry. You can also eat at the bar and peruse their extensive whiskey and beer menu. The drinks are pricey, so a sandwich, a beer ... and I guess you could count the free cigar ... come to around $40, after tip.

The guy was giving me a hard time and then at the register swapped the price out for a more premium piece than he was giving me. I don't know if was the owner or just an employee but the whole vibe from start to finish left me feeling like I wanted to do my business elsewhere. Montclair Smoke Shop is hands down my favorite smoke shop in the area. I've been coming here for…read moreabout eight years, and unless I'm out of state, I pretty much don't go anywhere else. The biggest thing that separates this place from other smoke shops is the selection. When I say they have everything, I mean it. Vapes, hookah supplies, glass pieces, pipes, cleaning and storage supplies, rolling papers, wraps, grinders, lighters, rolling trays, backpacks, and just about every little gizmo or gadget you could think of. If you're looking for something smoking related, there's a very good chance they have it. The customer service has also consistently been 10/10. Everyone I've dealt with here has been extremely friendly and helpful. If they have what you're looking for, they'll help you find it. If they don't, they'll tell you when they expect to have it back or recommend an alternative instead of just sending you on your way. Another thing I really appreciate is their hours. If they say they're open until 11:00 PM, they're open until 11:00 PM. They don't randomly shut the doors early, which makes a huge difference when you need something later at night. After eight years of coming here, they've earned my loyalty. Great people, huge selection, dependable hours, and consistently great service. Absolutely my go to smoke shop in Montclair.

"Holy Cosmic Tobacco Batman!…read more If you are a chronic smoker and live in NYS then you know it's probably cheaper to smoke weed on the regular than buy a pack of cigarettes. But if you're lucky like me to live within close proximity to the state border of lovely Pennsylvania then this Tobacco spot is the bomb! They literally sell cartons of cigarettes at state minimum prices and being only 15-20 mins from home this is the perfect spot to buy smokes. Pricing compared to NYS is massively different that making this trip is totally worth it but I will say it feels strange having to go out of my way for smokes. I almost feel like I'm making my way down the highway to meet a drug dealer. In this case the drug dealer is the sweet lovely and faceless nicotine who calms the shakes of the nicotine addiction. If you live in NYS, are addicted to that sweet nicotine aroma and are within 30 mins of this store you need to jump in your car right now to visit this place!

Proprietor was nice and the store was clean. The store is a combination head shop/tobacco shop/vape shop, so I bypassed the cannabis products as that is not my thing. This review is solely for their cigars. They had a relatively impressive humidor with some quality cigars, albeit at inflated prices. Again, I was in a pinch, so I made a few purchases anyway despite the markup. However, upon getting home, each cigar I purchased proceeded to crack and fall apart as they were smoked, indicating poor humidification. Whoever maintains these humidors: please get a handle on proper humidity, because you are drying out what would be some excellent cigars, and you're selling cigars that are DRIED OUT. It defeats the purpose of enjoying a fine cigar. Lesson learned, and $60 down the drain. Won't be back.
