Horrific service, subpar selection and overpriced. I purchased a Fender Strat from these guys and was told they would get it to me within 3-5 business days and it was not delivered for nearly ten days. Needless to say, I purchased the same guitar elsewhere, since it was a gift for someone and got it for $400.00 less than what Metronome is selling it for. Since I no longer need the guitar, I followed their return police and emailed Josh to get a return shipping label, and have yet to hear from him or anyone else. They are trying to push it past the 14 day return window so that they can tell me I cannot return an unused guitar. I have the email proof that my request was sent within the 14 day window and I will contact the company I used to finance the purchase and open a complain with them since I am not going to pay for something that I am trying to return. I caution anyone wanting to do business with this vendor to not waste your time or money since they will play games with you and not allow you to return anything at any time. read more

Excellent service from Metronome. I live in the UK and had been after a particular Schecter guitar for ages but it was out of stock everywhere. Metronome had one that had been used and was described as very good condition. Chatted online (I think it was Josh) - very friendly and efficient - and ordered it on the 9th April. It arrived today (15th) and I would say the condition is more excellent than very good. Even with the exorbitant taxes (thanks to the UK and US governments), it was a bargain. I have some very expensive guitars, and I don't trust a lot of people to work on them. I have taken two guitars to metronome to do a complete set up, total adjustments new strings, and they did a absolutely phenomenal job! As a small business owner, I like to support these mom and Pop shops over Sam ash or guitar Center any day. If I had any word of advice for the store, I would recommend that the employees be friendlier and a little more happy at what they do. They have a nice selection of Fender products, in particular their guitar amplifiers. They had more in stock than the big chain music stores. I found a particular amp there that no one else had. Tested out there and bought it. The staff was very friendly to me and was patient as I had spent a lot of time in the store. But what do they care? I bought an amp and a guitar from them! The guitar section isn't huge but they have something for every player. The acoustic section, in my opinion, lacked the higher quality guitars. Their acoustic selection is mostly geared toward the beginner or intermediate player who doesn't want to break the bank. I did have a return and everything went smooth with that transaction. The store has a lot of other accessories that you might not expect to be in a smaller shop. By the way, they sell more than guitars. This looks to be a full service music store with band instruments and pianos. Lots of sheet music too. read more

They advertised a guitar as "brand new".Drove an hour to see it.Pickgaurd scratched up badly.It looked like someone played thrash metal using a metal object as a pick for 10 minutes,then decided they didn't like to play guitar.Nut looked like it had been altered badly.The G buzzed the entire length of the fretboard.The saddles were all angled to one side with the strings up against the adusting screws.Not a brand new guitar,someone abused it.I would be furious if I had this thing shipped to me as a "brand new" item.Someone will have an "it happened to me" story someday. read more

I do not believe they were honest with me about a guitar we purchased last Christmas 2021. Cost was around $750-$800. It was a faulty guitar from the start. After just about 4-5 of months we took the guitar back to them because the strings would buzz on the fret board. They said we could trade in or they would repair. My son really loved the guitar so he decided to fix it. It sat in their store for about three months or more. We called and stopped by. Then they realized they forgot to do the repair thinking it was an inventory guitar. This is where I don't think they were honest. I think they just added shims under the bridge instead of doing the kind of repair described to us. The fret board was not worked on and they said they replaced frets but they did not because the wear on the frets indicate otherwise. My son changed the strings one time after the so called repair. But now because they added shims under the bridge it was weakened being too high for the saddle to hold. Now they claim it was our fault that the strings are buzzing again. And now even the saddle is damaged from the bridge being unable to seat properly into the saddle. The guitar was never right from the beginning and after their run around eventually it is our fault and we have an unplayable guitar, Out our $750/$800 and my son goes back to college where he is studying guitar and worship music as a major with something else I guess. We will not return as I believe they were dishonest about the whole process. read more

Why was very nice when I first went in the store.I went there looking for a used certain guitar and they didn`t have it. I found it on the internet and came in for strings and some picks. They seen I bought it elsewhere and they turned very,very rude and didn`t even want to help me afterwards. I will never come in their store again and I tell everybody how they treated me.. !!!!! read more
