Had a car on my property early Sunday morning as I was getting ready for church. Scared the crap…read moreout of me because my house is very far back from the main road and a difficult gravel driveway. Also as a veteran , I'm very suspicious of abandoned vehicles. I called the police who thankfully arrived and made sure no one was in the car and determined it had not been reported stolen. They told me I was allowed to have it towed. I went to church, the car was still there after I returned from church. I called Jacks towing and they were great. They called to confirm and arrived ahead of schedule. Took photos. And quickly took the car off my property. I have now added a large heavy chain across my driveway. Not ideal. But maybe it will prevent this from happening again.
