Terrible liquor store. Refused to sell me beer because I wasn't on the "list". Avoid at all costs.

This shop is pretty awesome, boasting an extensive selection of libations. Was pretty impressed by…read moretheir Belgian ales and grabbed a Fin du Monde since I don't come across them often. The prices are very reasonable and definitely cheaper or comparable to what I'd pay in NY (where I was visiting from). To top it off the staff are so friendly and helpful. They didn't carry a sweet Shiraz (Jam Jar) that my friend wanted and the cashier searched and found another store nearby that sold it. Talk about going above and beyond!

I have been a long time customer (mostly via delivery). This…read moreweek I did not receive my entire delivery. When I received my order I immediately checked it and realized a $20 item was missing. By that time the driver had pulled away. Right away, I called Forest City to explain, and I asked if they could contact the driver? The woman on the other end was so defensive and rude. She yelled over me "we've delivered to you before, we know your order!". I was mindful about never blaming them, because I honestly felt the driver just accidentally left part of my order in the car. I calmly told her that I know it must be the drivers error. Can we contact him? I also said "I just want to receive what I paid for". Her response was to hang up on me!!!!! A minute later she called me back and yelled at me that the reason she hung up was because I asked "too many questions" (Um... I only asked if she could contact the driver??) and told me she had to hang up because she had "real" customers in front of her and "didn't have time to talk to me". She hardly let me get a word in. I stayed calm and quiet and let her rant about how "they have cameras" blah blah blah. In the end I told her I would just never shop there again. That seemed to offend her, so I politely ended the call and said "good night" A $20 error us not worth my energy, but her horrible customer service lost her a long term customer. Good thing their competition will happily accept me as a customer. I'm really disappointed by the horrible service I received.
