This time, it was nearly impossible to get appointments and they were at horrible times and over 30 minutes from my house. ATI just happened to open recently in the Clarksburg Harris Teeter Center in Clarksburg Village. I figured I'd give them a call. What a refreshing change of pace from what I usually get at physical therapy. It was easy to get an appointment and I was able to do most of the forms online, ahead of my appointment. When I got there, they are keeping the number of staff and patients low, so I felt safe (with Covid restrictions). All the staff has been vaccinated for over a month. They were constantly wiping things down and everyone was masked. There was generally only 2 or 3 clients there at a time while I was there. They also have a private room if you need more privacy. I had to fill out another form, on their client laptop when I got there, and then I had my evaluation. Both women who work there are very knowledgeable and friendly. They isolated my problem quickly and got me started. They told me how long I could expect healing to take. They went over their responsibilities and mine to ensure I have a positive outcome. No other physical therapy place has ever done that with me. I was able to schedule my full 6 weeks of appointments at my first appointment. My old place would only let me schedule 3 week out and then they wouldn't have availability and I'd have to stall my therapy. The place is super clean and conveniently located. I'm so glad I found ATI and this location. Looking forward to feeling better and completing my therapy with them.

I believe it was the best decision we could've made because my son gets both speech and OT therapy that is coordinated. The therapists, all the staff, Judy and Richard have been a wonderful support to our family and we can honestly say that thanks to this amazing team both of my sons have made great progress. My younger son went from not being able to communicate and being afraid of the world around him and many activities that most toddlers do to being able to communicate/have conversations and engaging with other children and activities. He's now making great progress on his fine motor skills, so many of his sensory challenges have resolved and he's even eating different foods/textures now. There are so many progresses my kids have made that it's hard to list them all. I'm thankful we found this facility. Their DIR Floor time approach helped my son to be comfortable with his team so when we started he didn't spend time in meltdown mode and was able to participate and engage with his therapists. I believe this approach was very key to the success we've seen in his progress. I believe having both speech and OT in this whole/body whole/person approach has had a great positive impact. Additionally, the facility really meets their therapy needs with spacious rooms with different themes and different activities to work on different therapy needs. My kids are excited and happy to go to therapy. They are never bored as they go to different rooms each week that keeps them engaged. Judy and Richard and the therapists always make time for me whenever I have a question or just need someone to talk to. Richard really set our minds at ease with dealing the insurance companies. He understand their billing and makes sure we understand our coverage so we can get the most services covered for our kids. The therapists are very knowledgeable and work so well with the kids. Judy has let us look over her library of books and resources and been a great support. We do Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Listening Therapy, Interactive Metronome. I was told that due to the turn of the new year, I would have more sessions covered, and encourgaed by the team at ATI to book more sessions. In fact, because I was leaving the country, I was encouraged to book as many as possible. I was told that my co-pay would continue to be $50. However, for the 5 sessions I took after the new year, an additional bill of $475 appeared in my account. I called billing and they gave me no other option but to pay, in spite of the fact I was given wrong information, even misled. If I knew I would have been incurring this type of cost I would have never booked the number of sessions I did. For this I have to recommend avoiding ATI wherever possible. They will mislead you and the mistake will be up to the customer to resolve and pay.
