I called him late in the day on a Wednesday and he was able to come give me a quote the next day on Thursday. Ken showed called when he was on his way and showed up exactly when he was promised. He gave me an unbelievable quote for the work I needed done. We discussed him coming out on Monday to do the work, but after I told him my movers were coming tomorrow (Friday) he asked if I wanted the work done before my movers came. I said that would be awesome, but that is less than 24 hours away. So what did Ken do? Ken literally left my house got his work van and one of his employees and was back in 1 hour to do the work!!! Not only did that type of customer service just blow me away, but him and his partner staying until 9:30pm to finish the work was over the top. Not many people would do that. It's not very often in today's world you find someone as polite and professional as Ken, and It's even as less often you find someone that takes as much pride their work as he does. Highest recommendation possible!!

OK, no problem - we reschedule. On the morning of appointment, he called and wanted to reschedule again as the ground was wet and needed to be trenched. I told him I really needed it completed, so he sent out one of his guys. He didn't have to trench like we originally thought, and work was completed. I had them do additional work to get shed up fully up to date with code, and work itself was clean and neat. His billing is fraudulent. He overcharged me over $400 from his quote for that part of the work. His tech was originally overcharging me over $1000 more, until we called and he recalled his quote to me, but still tacked on these extra charges. Then I'm told it's a 3% CC charge and when I finally got the invoice, they charged me 4%. And then his original quote was trenching the 15' or so, and the line was in conduit they just had to pull through? I called Danny several times and left messages, and texted him several times over the following few weeks, and no courtesy of a reply or callback. I filed a complaint with BBB and he didn't respond to them either. So disappointing that he ripped off a senior. Shame on me for not getting it in writing ahead of time. But there's no possible way I can misunderstand his statement of "All the pool work and retrenching and replacing wiring to the shed, $975, or if we have to retrench to the house it'll be $1875." Then to refuse to adjust charge, let alone respond to calls, texts, or BBB complaint? Horrible business practice and would not recommend.

But he does not have the necessary parts (hinges) on the truck. He quotes a firm price, collects a 50% deposit and schedules another visit. The day before the second appt I call to (re)confirm the 8:30 appt. Yup, on the schedule. The day of the appt I call ... and am told the 8:30 appt is now 11-1. Um, okay. I am told that the tech will call when he is 30 minutes away. 1:25 and no call ... so I call ... and am told that he is here and working. Nobody is here. Nobody has called. Telephone lady seems baffled and promises that I will be called 30 minutes before they arrive. Two techs arrive, the promised 30 mins away call was never made ... and they want another $100 above and beyond the Balance Due listed on the work order. What ??? Office is flummoxed. I am placed on Ignore for 15 mins, then the telephone lady said the mgr would call me back. They did not call. Ultimately they agree to do the work for the original Balance Due amount. Techs try to take my copy of the work (receipt) order when they leave. Techs did not clean-up after themselves, leaving me to pick a handful of metal shavings from the carpet. The fact that they ultimately solved the problem for the quoted price is the only thing separating them from a 1-star review.
