Our insurance covered approximately half that amount, still an outrageous fee for what he did. He briefly read the results of our blood tests to me over the phone, and I had to ask his office to mail me the results. My contact with him, whether in his office over via phone, lasted no more than 30 minutes, and the information and insight he provided into the reason we sought his services in the first place were minimal. After my first visit with Dr. Mincey I was able to sleep better at night and left with an assured feeling that with time I was going to get better. Seemed like she underplayed how serious it was and just prescribed an OTC drug I that I could have bought myself. Didn't offer anything for the pain nor did they offer to do any blood work to possibly get to the root of my problem.
