The door would try, but only go down a foot, then go back up. He said he adjusted everything he could and that it was probably time to get a new opener and rail which was about $1,000. I'm glad I didn't agree to buy anything because after he left all I had to do was adjust the down force setting with a screwdriver on the opener and it shut. With how much Terry knew about garage doors, I can't help but think he was trying to scam me. I even tipped him 15% on the job ($115). I would have given a 5 star review if he didn't try to pull any funny business.
