So my mom lost her device/phone. My husband and I bought her a new phone and when trying to Activate the new phone but what I was told on the phone from T-Mobile was that I needed the porting information to keep my mom's number from Metro Pcs, so I kept calling and they said I had to go in person with my mom since she's the account holder to the corporate store at Metro Pcs so that's what we did and then, once at the corporate store, which is this location on Kings Highway in Cherry Hill, they were super helpful everyone there rallied around my mom and did everything they could to help us they were wonderful and very professional however, we needed to make a call to get the transport pin and the account was not bypassed yet however, the manager kept saying how he could not help us so then I asked for another manager on the phone and the manager on the phone transferred to his manager and then he put me on hold for about 45 minutes, and when he came back to let me know an update, he talked over me and would not listen and kept telling me that I need to listen to him, and was very snarky and very rude however, I am at the end of the call. Spoke to Tony who is supposed to be a manager and he kept talking over me and told me that it's now my turn to listen and his eye ID number is 500746 so I just wanna make you aware in case you need to call Metro Pcs because they have horrendous customer service from management on the phone. Everybody in the corporate store was fantastic and super helpful, so I wanted to let you know that Yair and the other management and staff were amazing and super helpful and I just wanted to make you aware of this. read more

Horrible customer care and they do not have a corporate phone number since it is owned by T-Mobile. It is a decently priced company (Metro) but you get what you pay for. For the past 2 days my phone has showed that it has no service even though I am on an unlimited family plan. Metro stores are also horrible and when you go in to upgrade your current phone, don't be surprised if they sell you a downgrade of your current phone, this is what happened to me. My 'new' phone doesn't even have 5G coverage and is slow as molasses. I suggest you check out Verizon or any other company except T-Mobile or Metro. T-Mobile will charge you an arm, leg, and torso for their cellphone coverage bills. read more

They charge me $42 for a screen protector installed it without asking me if I want it, I told them I want to return it, cause u just installed it on my new free phone, they said they can't because it's already installed , make sure you tell the scammer rep to lower the music, they do that so u can't hear what lies they say when they go back to recording footage, do not go to cherryhill metro, im.sure the manager on it too. read more

I never leave reviews but had to for Kings Hwy store and Angela who was a God send. My mom accidentally locked her phone and another store made her buy a new one instead of trying to help her unlock her old one and didn't even download her contacts. Angela took the time to help us finally unlock my mom's old phone, factory reset and downloaded all her contacts! I was so impressed and grateful for her patience, friendliness and customer service. Horrible sales ppl, they lie and install a $42 screen protector on a phone that is free from metro without telling me. Oh oops u have to pay now, the manager and sales ppl on this scam. They hide the phones that come free with a promotion and won't put it on display to show its free , they add a $100 worth of accessories because that's what they make most of their commission on, but then they tell you uts fees and taxes from metro but uts completely bs, be aware , if you port your number u get a free Samsung a54 , metro promotion and the manager nor the salesppl at the store own these phones, they just wanna make money on these free phones, avoid this store if you can please ... If I could give no Stars I would. I have never in my entire life ever had service shut off and have worked hard to keep a outstanding credit rating but when I made the mistake of going to Metropcs, it has been an emotional.nightmare. I went there, in September to buy the new ZTE Pro phone which I do not recommend as the sound quality is horrible , great size but now I know why so cheap $99. Plus tax and fees. It's pretty bad when u ask.their " mgr" telecom ? And they have no clue. First off I should have been able to port my other cell over as new customer but this metro employer said I had to get new number which I always had the choice of numbers since I work in telecom for over 22 yrs but they gv me a hard # to remember, did not know what I meant by the Telecom, term NPA, AND NNX and PORTING, WHICH ANY PERSON IN TELECOM SHOULD KNOW . NPA IS THE FIRST 3DIGITS or area code and the second 3 digits is NNX. Sorry for such a long post but I have never dealt with such.unprofessional, rude and the worst cell carrier owned by TMOBILE. First of all by law , if u have a medical condition, and I am dealing with my immediate family member who is dying of terminal cancer , I do not like to disclose my private info but to have this company shut off service when they.do not mail out a bill , which I pay by checks. So u have to pay at one of their stores , plus they charge u a service fee which is insane. and when u are going thru chemo and radiation treatments and dealing with the worst thing u can imagine , seeing ur 11 yr old w stage 4 cancer it's been the worst year and half. But to have a company who advertises all these great offers free phones and two lines for $30 each sounds so good, too bad they don't tell u how badly their customer service is and post sale. My due date was Xmas and to shut my phone off when I had no outstanding balance but the current monthly charge is the worst. XMAS fell on.a weekend so I could not pay as no stores even corporate was closed. No reputable company would do that to a good.customer. I prob should of read the other reviews from others about the bad service and overall issues with Metropcs. I would not wish what I am going thru to anyone , especially during what should be a happy time . I am absolutely furious with this horrendous phone company. You may think that because it's so much cheaper it's a good deal but it's not, because you are affectively giving them money and receiving nothing in return. I called and worked with three separate customer service agents trying to get my phone set up for a trip to Europe. They told me the best international plan they had for Europe did not give me calling, but free unlimited texting with my unlimited data plan I already had in place. Little did I know and as they completely failed to explain, metro pcs literally has 0 service or reception in Europe. I'm not exaggerating where I mean it's just really really weak, they literally have no service here, which you would think at least one of the three customer service agents I asked about a European international plan might mention. That "unlimited texting" plan I got got? it means I can send texts when I'm connected to WiFi. Wow gee thanks!! That's super fucking useful!! Oh wait no one I know is a fucking scrub without an iPhone and So iMessage is the only thing I use anyway. And even if they didn't have iMessage there are about a billion apps that let you talk for free with WiFi. This not only meant that I had no ability to contact people, it meant that I was stranded in foreign countries where I did not speak the language with no ability to contact people for help, get directions anywhere, or look up important information. I felt extremely unsafe many times. Metro PCS completely ruined my vacation which I had been planning for months. Horrible, manipulative, deceptive phone company. Absolute joke. read more

I stopped in after being out of the country for a month. I thought I had misplaced my SIM card but it was just not working because I switched phones. The person who helped me, specifically Angelee l, told me I would have to pay $12 for a new sim and $15 to switch phones on my account which I was not happy about at all. We soon realized I did have the correct sim it was just not working because my new phone was not listed on my account. She then told me I could avoid the fee by simply calling in to metro pcs customer service. I did that and within 10 minutes was up and working. Don't do it! Switched back to Virgin Mobile in less than 6 months--and it cost less for more service. 1) The biggest problem with Metro PCS is that the store isn't connected to the website nor to the phone center. In fact, none of the three systems are connected -- the people at the store cannot help you with any problems in the other areas. For example: The website wouldn't let me reset my password--it sent me a temporary but the website kept delivering capchas even though the codes were right. Then if finally lets you through, you put in a new password, then it says "we are having system problems, try again later -- for a whole month. I can never use the website to get into my account (and don't call in to pay your bill or they charge you $15 extra). The store can't reset your password. The store can't give you additional data to change your service--you have to get that from the call center; but they don't know either. And neither place can communicate with the other. Essentially there is NO service unless you just want to pay your bill. 2) No international service pay by call options. Have to add a $10/mo charge in order to make any international calls. 3) No reminders of when your payment is due which is difficult because the due date changes every month--your phone just gets shut off unexpectedly unless you pay really early. 4) Last problem: even though they say they have terrific coverage in this area, I lost signals repeatedly just driving between south and north part of the state. On a drive to Boston I lost the signal for miles and miles -- right on the outskirts of town--seriously about 7 miles from downtown Boston. The people in this particular office are great--but that's a reflection on the individuals, not the company. Worse coverage, no customer service, less high speed data, and basically the same price?
