From the first interaction, Ray stands out for his responsiveness and professionalism. After a quick call, he was able to come out the same day to assess the project, which immediately set the tone for a smooth experience. He takes the time to understand exactly what you want and then executes it with precision. The quality of the work is what really makes Wire Guys shine. Whether it's mounting a TV, installing a camera systems, installing a surround sound system, or setting up a full home alarm, everything is done with attention to detail. Wires are completely hidden, components are neatly organized (even tucked away in cabinets when possible), and the final result looks clean and polished--exactly what you'd hope for but rarely get. Another thing that stands out is how tidy Ray is while working. He cleans as he goes, so there's no mess left behind, which is a huge plus for any in-home project. Overall, the work is efficient, high-quality, and hassle-free. If you want a job done right the first time--with no visible wires and a clean finish--Wire Guys is definitely the company to call.

I later would find out that the subcontractor hired by HughesNet is Vliet View Installations also known as VV Install. My appointment was for Friday, 9/14 from 8-11am. At 10:30am, I received a call from VV Installs saying that the technician was unable to come out and my appt would have to rescheduled. Because I could not take the Sat appt time, I was rescheduled for 9/19. At appx. 10:30am on 9/19, the installer did arrive at my home. My husband and I discussed with him changing the location of the satellite dish so as to avoid putting holes into our brand new roof. Ultimately, we determined that it would be better to return the satellite to exactly where it was previously. This location is at the top of the roof gable above the garage. At that point in time, the installer told us that he does not go on to roofs, so my husband told him that we would then need a different technician. The installer said he would make a phone call, my husband and I returned into our home and the installer left without giving us any update. I then proceeded to call the office at 10:55am to tell them the technician left abruptly and find out what was going to happen at this point. After waiting 1 hour for a call back, I called again at 11:56am. Given how abruptly the technician left, I requested a call back from the owner. Erica said Brandon, the owner, would call me that afternoon. At 3:01pm on 9/19, I had yet to hear from Brandon, so I called again. At this point, Erica told me the technician informed her that he needs a 28ft ladder to do the job and he of course didn't have one. I explained that the tech could access the roof from the front of the house, which is a normal one story height and therefore does not require a 28ft ladder, but that he refused to go on the roof. She said she misunderstood and would call me first thing on 9/20 to schedule a different technician. At 12:07pm on 9/20, I had yet to hear from VV Install as promised so I called them. I requested once again to talk to the owner. Erica told me she would have him call me within the next 30 minutes. After waiting over 50 minutes, I called again. He said that it was not possible to install the satellite dish from a 28ft ladder. I told him I understood this but again explained once again that a 28ft ladder is not required. Additionally, I reminded him that this was already our second appointment with his company so at this point in time, I've already had to wait over 5 hours for a technician to arrive and would have to wait once again. He and Erica set up another appointment for the next day, 9/21 from 2-5pm with a different tech. Brandon told me on this call, that if for some reason the tech could not come out, he would come out personally to install it. This would later prove to be a lie. At 3:05pm on my 3rd appointment day, the scheduled technician left me a message saying he was running late, but that he would be at my house between 6pm and 7pm. At 7:47pm, I received a text from the tech apologizing for running late and offering to still come tonight or tomorrow "mid afternoon" adding that "its totally up to you," in his text. I replied back at 7:49pm that I could be available after 4pm the next day. I did not hear back from him or anyone else from Vliet View Installations. I left a message for Brandon on Sunday night reminding him of his offer to come and install the satellite and asking for a call back. At 10:33am, when I still had not heard from a single person about Vliet's THIRD missed appt, I called them. Brandon informed me he was going out of town in less than an hour and would not be coming to install the dish, nor did he have another tech who would be available that day. He also said that the technician informed him he could not put the satellite dish back in the EXACT same location because it did not meet HughesNet specifications. I told him the tech never told us this, nor did he or Erica ever tell me this during any one of the 4 telephone calls I had with them the previous week. I once again went over the two missed appointments and his now failed promise to come out here himself. Finally, Brandon agreed to send a different technician out to my home that afternoon, 9/24, from 2- 5pm. Erica called me at 3:45pm to tell me the tech was running late & the tech called at 5:29pm to confirm he was still coming. The technician arrived shortly before 6pm that evening, meaning that in total, I waited over 11 hours and did not have satellite for 10 days after my first initial appointment time. While I've tried to keep my opinions of my terrible encounter with this company to a minimum, I think its important to mention that HughesNet and their refusal to hold their subcontractors accountable is what allows absolutely horrible companies like Vlient View Installations to remain in business.
