I came in here looking for printer cartridges, but the store was out of my type. The lady that helped me was very friendly, and made sure to give me the sale price even though the items were being shipped in to the store. Staples, to me, has always been fairly competitive with their prices, even beating out Best Buy in electronics from time to time.

I had a "Happy Return" and told the gal plainly "this slip needs to go with…read moreit--it details my exchange information" she proceeded to NOT include it in the package and I reiterated "no this needs to go with it." And she begrudgingly opened the plastic bag to put it back inside saying "happy returns won't look at it anyways. It's just going to sit there. There's no point in putting it in there." Whether or not this was an accurate statement, this was INCREDIBLY discouraging and not what you want to hear when it comes to sending something of value. Do better.

Still strolling down memory lane, we came across a family book pertaining to my late grandma's side…read moreof the family, the "K" family (a very German moniker I might add). Flipping through the book and my renewed interest in discovering more about my family tree made me want a copy of my own. Mind you this was a spiral bound book filled with many interesting facts about my family, heck I was even in the book since it was first published in 1985. Grandma recalls having this book bound before by the team at Copies Plus so we went down to place an order for yet another book to be created. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and accomodating. He looked the book over and agreed he could do it the same way. I think it took roughly all day for them to do it and we picked it up the next day. The book was exactly like the other and I couldn't wait to get home with this to discover more about my family. It now sits proudly on my coffee table and with many thanks to Copies Plus and of course Grandma!

I wanted my hand copied recipes copied professionally in ringed binders for my daughters. Ben did a quick and efficient walkthrough process to give me choices and quality I would receive. I can't speak to the value in comparison to other companies, but I can say the total came in at the exact price I was hoping they would not go above. The end product was just perfect as far as the limitation they had with size of paper. Paper weights and colors great. Everything in order and they were printed within a timely manner. As you can see from the photo the copy is a bit smaller, but all all pertinent information is perfectly clear.

We put out a job request to have some network cabling runs done in our house. Michael picked up the…read morejob and came out shortly after we submitted the request. The job took a tad longer than anticipated but it was more due to our need to have cables ran in exterior walls so RT had to deal with insulation and bracing to what is normally a straightforward job. He cleaned up after himself left us contact information for a drywall expert who patched up some of the holes needed to get the cables where they needed to go.

He helped me get it emailed to the store and print it. It was in a poly bag, but awkward and the label wouldn't apply well. He grabbed a used amazon box from the ground that was left by someone and put it in real quick for the label be properly affixed, efficient, and faster to get to the next customer after me. Shannon took it upon herself to chastise Jackson in front of me saying "Where'd that box come from? Did you give him that? Jackson responded yes. Shannon said "we don't do that! And don't do that again!" As a manager, I'd keep Jackson and train Shannon if she's a trainer. Rules/policies are great, for when they support efficiency, speed, good order/discipline and ensure customer satisfaction. Jackson critically thought on his feet and maintained efficiency, speed, accomplishing the job well, and getting onto the next customer. Shannon, learn to ask other employees "why" they do what they do instead of assuming the worst from the get go, and provide correction away from the customer's face if the "why" isn't valid or justifying breaking a policy. Discipline to policy is great, but not when it's at the expense of the company or customer's.

Needed a mini fuse for my truck and it was the 4:30 rush hour this getting to an auto parts store…read morewas going to be difficult. Batteries Plus was close so decided to see if they might have a replacement fuse. I drove up they weren't very busy and yes they had the replacement fuse I needed. They even had a multi pack of different amp mini fuses which I decided to buy and put in my truck in case this happened again. Service was quick and easy and I was in and out in a few minutes.
