We were really scared. I called Incline and they put me in touch with Pete, who is the nicest young man. He is so fast with communication - he responds within a couple of hours via email. He came right over, measured and gave me an immediate estimate - all the while telling me that he didn't think him installing gutters would fix the issue. I mean, he could have just sold me gutters, but they're HONEST people. So I ended up buying the gutters because I'd tried everything else, and they were very reasonably priced. Fast installation, and my husband just looked at them - they installed gutter guards without us even requesting them! That was such a nice surprise. So I had them out again to see if they could troubleshoot the leak. Within 10 minutes, the guy seemed to isolate the issue and made a recommendation. My husband just fixed it and the leak stopped. So Incline saved us a ton of trouble and money by just being good guys. Finally, I cross a dangerous intersection with my children everyday which is near their business. They're the most considerate drivers, and always pause to look for pedestrians in the crosswalk. I know that might be a silly thing to point out, but their attention to safety is important. They didn't follow up, i had to call them to try to get a price, and when i did get a hold of them they forgot about my bid, then just gave me oral guess 2500-3800K for my project and then call me back later the same day to give me another oral guesstimate of 6500-7000 K for roof repairs. They seemed unorganized, lazy, and didn't want to do my project. It would've been better if they declined early instead of wasting my time and theirs.

All of the roofing companies were quite busy due to recent storm damage. Some didn't return calls, and we even had a couple no-show on scheduled estimates. Matt K, in contrast, was extremely responsive and reliable. We left a message on a weekend, and he called back that same weekend, and scheduled a time for an estimate within a few days. He came for the estimate at the appointed time, and promptly emailed us a detailed, thorough, and competitive bid. He then answered all of our questions thoroughly and knowledgeably about the proposed work and process. Matt was easy to talk with, explained about roofing in terms that we could readily understand, did not up-sell, and provided honest evaluations and recommendations from his decades of roofing experience. Shortly after that, while we were still evaluating our options, we had a leak concern. In response, Matt was able to juggle schedules to fit our replacement in quickly. His crew (led by Brendan), was efficient and careful, and were able to complete the tear-off and replacement in a day, even though winds reached up to 20 mph some of the time. They also left our property neat and tidy. Someone who saw them work told me that he would without reservation "heavily suggest using them again!!!" (His three exclamation marks, not mine). A 6 month long search finally pinpointed an upstairs leak to the chimney where the old stucco was…read morecracked and allowing water to seep around. Ours is a 1927 two story stucco house. Several chimney companies came by with various approaches and pricing. I found Metro Chimney and Joe through a neighbor who had just had his chimney rebuilt through Metro and was very happy. Joe came by, gave me his bid and put me on his schedule. I was able to walk around our South Minneapolis neighborhood and see previous chimney work Metro has done. Although it was several months before they could do the work (very busy chimney repair season) I'm glad that I went with him. They rebuilt the top 5 to feet of the chimney and the Santa Fe tone brick looks great with the remaining stucco chimney and house. The crew knew what they were up to and very professional and thoughtful. The work took 4 days including the install of scaffolding. It's not cheap but much lower than the company that told me the whole chimney need replacing. Joe said they were wrong and just the top 5 feet need rebuilding. Joe is an honest hard working guy who has long term experienced employees. I had a good experience with this company.

I have been trying to deal with a leaking roof as…read morebest I can, and I have been dealing with a hostile insurance company for about 3 months now that has intentionally made the process as complicated as possible so it's easier to deny people in need. A big roofing company tried to help me but quit on my family halfway through, I guess the insurance company was too much for them? I felt alone and tried to find someone else to help, someone who might know a way to win. I remembered her signs in my neighborhood and hoped maybe she was different because her style feels earnest, honest, and like someone trying to grab the American dream of making it their own way. When Renda and I were first texting about her taking over my claim I was quiet about my reservations as I was aware I was jaded and hurt by those who came before her promising us the same kind of care but I have been blown away and regret any doubts I ever had of finding an insurance specialist who could actually get insurance to pay like they're supposed to. Whereas others just promised me the water would stop coming in and they were there for us, Renda actually did everything. Every promise made was kept, and our roofing emergency was resolved and fixed in less than a couple weeks of taking over my claim. Renda actually got insurance to pay out on our claim, and we're in a much safer spot because of her and the local teams she works with. When she says she is all about teamwork she forgot to add the absolute depth of skill of those on her team. Nobody else even wanted to try to get done what her team got done in like not even two hours. When she says she's an insurance specialist, she truly means it. It was only after we secured Renda's services that we were able to get a claim approved. For the first time I actually felt like I was on a team trying to get my home taken care of instead of desperately trying to discern the behind-the-scene's nightmare machinations that is the insurance process on my own or trusting people who said they would stand by us and then fled with an "okey-dokey" the moment insurance said 'no' like Tommy Boy before he got his courage. I still can't believe she and her team finished inside of a couple hours and my roof looks better than ever. I have been waking up at 2am to make sure the tarp I had to put up was still there as my insurance sent a sub-par contractor to put a terrible excuse of a patch up but thanks to Renda I have hope I might actually be able to sleep through the night this evening. This whole ordeal was so overwhelming and so excruciatingly long and so taxing on my mind that when I saw my roof I wept with relief. My wife worked closely with them to keep track of things, correct issues that came up, and the like. We appreciated that when anything went wrong, they were always willing to step up and make it right. The final result was a bathroom that is stunning and is something that would cause a prospective buyer to "have to have this house." But having said that, we're going nowhere. :) Also, the financing was excellent and made the project very doable. I would recommend working with PDR again.

By far the worst company I've ever worked for.. They under…read morebid jobs and expect guys to work harder to make it up. But refuse to pay OT. Or give them enough hours to feed their families. (10 or fewer hour weeks) or if they even pay you all your hours most of the time without having to ask. They don't update or fix tools and equipment. Or give proper safety equipment on hire. Unless you hound them. Or provide enough tools,material,etc. There is little to no communication from the office to the field. Or in the field. They consider 6 guys a commercial crew, most of whom are laborers, not even roofers. There is no type of training what so ever. Unless your the roofers union.. but then you have to miss work and try to coordinate it with the union set times. When most the time you don't know where your going until 5am. Or even working. (Update) To add to this after seeing my review, they decided to start refusing to pay my direct deposit, saying I had to drive to the shop for it (an hour away). Also, after contacting the union and them pulling up the hours, there seems to be a trend. That they starve guys out. If they stick up for them selfs and / or if you don't sign their paper. Going against your union contract. Joe even had the nerve to say "well maybe it's because of your review." And "i dont want guys that won't work over 8 without OT." Just confirming this.. Have also heard stories from the crew about times that they shut down the crew and sent full crews home. Because they wanted the crane for another project that they could do on there own. Not at all considering there employee's. Also I'm sure that might be the reason they had a old froman take an entire crew and start his own company.. I would not recommend them to anyone for work or employment. They are vary unprofessional. .001 star if I could...
