A lady place for lady things!…read more It had been a few years since I had been to this location, and I was happy to see that they had combined the two suites on this side of the building into one, making the waiting room more cozy and the front desk less clinical! Obviously, one comes here for pregnancy issues and overall female reproductive care. There are several doctors on staff and the location within the Women's Pavillion in the hospital is convenient. I see Dr. Sarah Kurantz (she's the blond in the photo), and I like her very much! She gets down to business and is very thorough, but in a caring and kind way. I've asked her all kinds of non reproductive questions and she has been very helpful....she even oks my prescription for migraine meds when I need it, instead of having to run to my regular doctor (which I don't even have)! Every staff member that I've ever come across here has been very friendly and helpful, so I have to recommend them....it's been years and I have yet to have had a bad experience! 19/2019

Aurora had failed to tell me after my ultrasound that my baby had a cis on his brain and an enlarged lung. So when I came to Dr. Herzog, he gave me the tests to determine if what Aurora said was true. Apparently the cis had disappeared (thank God) and he kept on eye out to make sure nothing else popped up. During delivery he made me feel very comfortable and coached me throughout the whole process. He is STILL my OBGYN and I will continue to work with him because I love his work ethic. He was a new doctor and still had an office on that little side street off of Mayfair. Rd. He was my mom's doctor and even delivered my little brother 19 years ago. Fast forward 10 years Dr. Herzog was my doc all through college and treated me with the Depo every three months for many years. After college I found myself preggo with a new husband. For the first few months of my pregnancy I visited Dr. Herzog. He had changed from the rookie doctor I'd first met. He would blow into my appointments slap his stethoscope my belly and barely listen for a heartbeat and blow out of there. When I tried to ask him question regarding my pregnancy he would act annoyed or roll his eyes like I was slowing him up or something. I complained to mom the Dr. Herzog is so rude now but she didn't want to hear it. During my birth she saw firsthand what a jerk he was. As I said my son was born on Valentine's Day around 8:00 at night so primetime for lovers. Herzog came in like a bull in a china cabinet barking orders at the nurses, yelling at me that I let a contraction get away. I had seen him earlier that day and I told him I thought I was really close to birth and he ignored me. He seemed upset that I refused to go to St. Joseph's to give birth where he would have had his partners deliver my baby. I explained I lived in Waukesha and planned to give birth at Elmbrook Memorial as it was closer and had a newly remodeled maternity wing. That meant that he would have to deliver instead of passing me off to some other doctor. Boy did I pay for interrupting his evening. My family was subjected to the rudeness I had been experiencing in the coming months. Finally I never saw him again after the birth. I had to call him to tell him I'd like to be discharged. He never checked on my son or me for that matter. Just collected a fat check for what took less than 20 minutes and the nurses did most of the work. While pregnant he said rude things to me like " weren't you pregnant in college" or " didn't you or your sister have an abortion years ago" referring to my twin sister who had also been his patient for many years. I was furious at the accusation, as he had treated me with birth control since high school and thru college. I felt he knew I had never been pregnant or had an abortion since he'd treated me for years; he was only being an asshole possibly because I am black. For years I have been angry at how my only child's birth was ruined by this doctor that used to be a nice guy. I don't know what happened Dr. Herzog but you really need to check yourself you lost three patient that Valentine's Day back in 2005 my mother, sister and myself due to your arrogance and poor bedside manner.

At that time, the nurse practicioner who I had been seeing on a regular basis, because Dr. Fox is basically 100% unavailable, left the practice. Strike one. Last week on the day of my appointment, I was contacted because one of Dr. Fox's other patients had gone into labor - and my appointment would be canceled. Ok, I get it, babies are born. But the reason I'm upset? I can get back in until May. Two months, on their end, until I can get back in. I decided to try a new doctor, elsewhere. It has taken me days now to get a hold of the medical records woman at this offce! And each time I call, I am immediately put on hold and forced to listen to Muzac in the stylings of Kenny G for at least five minutes at a time. I have never experienced this with other doctor offices. I cannot wait to be at the new office (Women Care on Watertown Plk), as each time I've contacted them, they are more than willing to help and do not have hold music.

It is currently 6:20 and we were told she's "on her way" at 5:40 from a clinic that is less than 15 minutes away. All this is even worse because a resident Dr said there's a good chance we could be discharged the night prior (which we declined because my wife wanted to play it safe).

She has an office in Franklin and also at West Allis Memorial (whatever it's now called, I don't care, it'll always be WA Memorial to me!), so she's conveniently located for me or anyone else in the burbs.
