So. The morning after my hip replacement surgery, I got dizzy and passed out... and wrecked my…read moreshiny new hip! It was possibly the greatest pain I've ever been in. Required paramedics to carry me to the ambulance and a trip to Community Hospital South, where my orthopedist (Dr. Martin, who is awesome) has privileges. The hospital was so very clean, with squeaky floors, the quiet voices of people who obviously liked working together -- there was always someone helping me, talking with me and His Goatness, answering our questions. People were friendly, professional, kind. They ensured I received pain medications as we waited for Dr. Martin to repair my hip. When prepping me for surgery, I asked in desperation if we could avoid movement until after I was under general anesthesia... while they couldn't, they worked so slowly and carefully, and even cut off my underwear as I asked, to avoid moving that dislocated hip. Once I woke, Dr. Martin and the nursing team were there. I'd needed another surgery, alas, to get the hip fixed... but there was finally no pain. I was checked into a comfy room, set up with everything I needed (water -- I was so very thirsty... dinner, tissues, etc.), and then a respiratory therapist visited, to help me get my lungs properly reinflated after being in surgery. (This is a real thing. I've read the studies, and I was impressed that they were so on-the-ball.) While the nursing team got me up every couple of hours to give me medicine, help me use the commode, etc., they got me tucked back into bed where I slept well afterwards. This morning, I'll be working with Physiotherapy to get up and moving, before they send me home. The quality of care was impeccable. Thank you, Dr. Martin, Dr. Mudhar, Dr. Hunt, Danielle, Sam, Jordan, Lisa, Katy, Shannon, Jessica, Misty, Kaitlin, Henriette, and everyone else who took such great care of me.

I got there, no wife. I waited 15 minutes, went in and fould out that no one had prepared to move her. I asked the nurse when, she told me 2 p.m. I waited until 2:15, I went to the nurses station and no one was there. I went home, expecting a call. I finally called back at 3:15. I was switched to the nurses station, no one answered. I recalled the Hospital and asked again, I was told she was transferred and was told that I could not get that information. I demanded to talk to a patient care coordinator who would not tell me either. She said that She would have a supervisor call me. I told her that she had one hour. I am still waiting. This hospital infected my wife and has now taken her and will not tell me shere. I will probably have to call the police. Well the police will not get involved since it is a medical problem. After making multiple calls I found out where they had taken her. I then found out her Iphone and apple watch were stolen in the transfer. I called their security and they said the items could not be found.

I absolutely have the best doctor (Dr. Tienne Randolph) she is amazing. Nurse Erin was the one whom provided me with my hospital tour a few months back and still managed to call me a few times to keep in touch. She has a beautiful soul and speaking with her it's as if you personally know her with the amount of care she has. After having my daughter I stayed with the Fransician family and my daughter see Dr. Savanna Bruski whom I met in the hospital and she is also amazing and welcoming. My ONLY complaint would be every time I received my food orders they were all cold and it takes about an hour after you order to get it to you. So order your food early. I did LOVE the smoothies, so good. There was also a nurse in the delivery room (Jenny I believe) whom asked me if I was married to my daughters father whom was there and if he is the father to my other kids. I don't understand why this question was even relevant while I'm in labor pains. Clearly I am married as we share the same last name and my status is married, why you needed to know if my husband is the father to my other kids was just too personal, why does that matter..

Clearly they will not let you send what you can, without sending you to collections. We pay all of our bills, and sometimes people go through hard times, but still try to make a small payment until they can pay more. so, I was sent to collections for trying to honor my debt instead of ignoring it until we can send more.

This is an excellent facility and I was so impressed by their service and the care of their staff…read more The Dr was prompt and spent a lot of time listening, asking questions and giving me insights into my issues. I found it to be a highly refreshing experience and for sure I will be going back! I had come to discuss some recent issues and look at finding a new family physician, and I think I found one! If you have concerns I also appreciate that they spent time asking questions to get food history and background and were holistic in looking for solutions. I can highly recommend this practice!

My sister called several times to complain since she dropped me off due to me not being able to drive but was hung up on and kept being told they would call her back. I felt uncomfortable like I was being looked at like a drug addict or something while I was just in pain. They hurried to do a scan and found no broken bones but I had a big knot on my leg and bruised ankle where I had previously had surgery. The Dr who I have the name of was quick to discharge me even when I said I wanted to wait for my sister. They made me sign the paper to be discharged and wheeled me out in the waiting room to sit and wait. As I sat feeling uncomfortable like I was trash I realized they discharged me without taking out the IV needle in my arm which has made me mentally terrified of how hospitals treat patients. I feel I was in pain and never really go to the hospital but was labeled as someone who just wanted drugs or something when obviously I had injuries that could clearly be seen from falling off a ladder. My sister said she asked why they discharged me so fast when I could possibly fall and their response was it wouldn't be on them if I fell because I was discharged. This has left me traumatized and the worst part is that this injury has been going for more than a month. Now I am thinking maybe if the treatment was better to begin with it would have already been healed. I haven't said anything previously because I have been in disbelief and felt discriminated against or looked at as faking it but I will be reaching out.

I had shoulder surgery on the 5th and my bladder normally stays asleep for a day or so after surgery. The girl working at the front desk thought my arm sling was a catheter. when I asked if she was joking, she said they don't train them on anything medical. I could go on and on about her, but suffice it to say, she didn't listen to what I was saying and then kept asking questions I'd already answered. The doctor said they are trained to insert catheters but not remove them. Really? You went to med school and can't remove a catheter. I returned a short time later with a medical records release form from Urology of Indiana. The same rocket scientist at the front desk told me I had the wrong address on the form. I had to point out that it was MY address, phone number, etc. and there was a fax number in big bold writing. She replied and said she doesn't do records and called a nurse. The nurse came out with a number for me to fax my form to. I told her I didn't have a fax machine and asked her to fax it. No, we don't do that. Then she proceeded to tell me they did nothing for me today and only on the 6th. I advised her that U of I wanted something from today showing they refused to remove the catheter and referred me to U of I. She replied that wasn't her job and I'd need to contact records. Lady, your job is to have a better attitude. Your job is to help your patients. God forbid you'd punch 10 numbers into a fax machine and press send. St. Vincent, you might want to consider some basic training I know millennials have a terrible work ethic, but it's fairly basic to know the difference between an arm sling and a catheter bag.

This is an independent practice where the medical staff is focused on you, the patient, rather than bureaucracy. I've had several in office procedures which Dr. Davidson might have done in another facility but kindly opted to perform in office to be conscious of my budget and health care coverage at the time. These procedures have always gone very well, I felt well supported during my aftercare and all issues were thoroughly explained throughout my care. Dr. Davidson and her staff take impressively extensive notes at each visit and clearly review them before you return so that they are able to ask relevant questions about your life, family, career, etc. I've read other reviews regarding the front desk staff being curt - this has never been an issue for me. I hopefully say that I see my own attitude reflected in the service I receive from Ms M but whether or not this is the case, I have always received kind, empathetic and good humored care throughout this office. It's patient care worth waiting for, without question.

One thing that I really appreciated was that she did an ultrasound prior to placement to make sure the sizing is right as a nulliparous female (not many offices do that!) Yearlies are a breeze- their office always makes notes of not only medical concerns but also just your social life in general so that when you visit in 12 months they can actually remember details about you! I love Dr.Davidson's bedside manner, though it is rather quirky/loud/friendly she makes it very easy to feel comfortable. Now the Cons: There is alllways a long wait at her office. I'm normally there for 2 hrs for a 20 minutes chat the her (yes she actually is in the room for 20 minutes!) Also her front receptionist ranges from outright rude to mildly irritated.
