After over a year of using Acres Landscaping, I'm finding myself holding one of Crozet's best kept…read moresecrets, close to my grass. It's time to open a fresh cut review for them. First and foremost, you are here trying to find a landscaper who has incredible knowledge minus the cheese car sales-man Carl showing up at your house, trust me, I know, and it has been a feat. I've used multiple landscapers and I have found they always have a way to "upsell" me. I was exhausted over the pitches, disappointed in the lack of follow up, and questioning their pricing and tactics. Silly grasshoppers.. The grass is truly greener with Acres Landscaping,.. He is extremely detail-oriented, honest, and his follow up is impeccable. His prices are fair, he listens to your needs, and then actually delivers on them. Acres Landscaping is full service. You name it, he'll do it: mow and trim, blow your driveway and walkways (you can't forget about this detail), knock down the spider webs around your front door like a junior fireman with in the web of Spider-Man was chasing him (literally), remove and dispose of thorn bushes, and questionable vines. Mitch, who is patient, listens to the needs of what I see, and guides and gives me feedback on the things I have no idea about. For example; I was looking at the leaves still on my yard after winter ( asking for "spring clean up" ). Totally forgetting how we had prepped with mulch and trimming at the end of fall and feeling so reassured that a quick run over the yard will naturally compost the yard and look beautiful for us!! Next, I felt it was such a 'blade' of delight on how he never pressures me to change things and will guide over time to allow things to fit a budget. I have some bare grass spots, and he had listened to my concerns, gave me wonderful options in a range of price points and reassured me in landing the recommendations in an email for me. Finally, he has always anticipated the grassy needs, while placing the stacks of green aside. Last summer, due to it being so dry, he did not just "stick to the schedule". Instead, he communicated with me, let me know he didn't feel there was a need ( nothing was growing ), and kindly circled back in follow up in the weeks afterward. Could he have charged me? Yes. Could he have stuck to the schedule? Yes. Fact is, he didnt, not for one week, but for THREE. Mitch is the man with the plan. His timing, creativity and effort are beyond measure, each and every time! Never leaving anything less than perfection. He's meticulous in his detail of attending to all things landscaping. May your green blades of glory soar to new grassy fullness in their confidence of having Acres Landscaping by their side. Your grass will fly sky high and give your neighbors envy while they stand there in awe.

I contacted Foster Well and Pump company after a snowstorm yesterday left us with no water from our…read moreWell system. Another contractor had come over during the day and installed a new pressure tank switch. Just after the installation the water was off again. The contractor told us we needed to spend $1200 to have our service line pressure tested. And if the service line was leaking, it would cost $13,000 to install a new line. (The house is only 19 years old.) A neighbor recommended we call Steve of Foster Well Company. I explained the situation to him and he spent an hour on the phone with me explaining how I could do the pressure test myself for free. The Well system checked out OK and Steve recommended I check our outdoor hose bib connections and our toilet valves. I found out the problem was a leaking hose bib in the backyard. Our system has been restored to normalcy and we can't thank Steve enough for his help on the phone. If we ever have any other well problems, we would definitely call Foster Well and Pump company first.

They were very professional, addressed my request the same day and scheduled the installation within the same week. When I arrived 8 AM, at the new home the two-man crew were unloading their equipment. Even with a glitch I had created myself by supplying a damaged electrical conduit, they were able to complete the installation within two and a half hours. Very Professional! I would not call anyone else.
