The diagram for the welding was on a piece of 2x8. We discussed what needed to be done and she took my phone number to call me when it was done or if there were any questions. Next business day at lunch, she calls and says that it will be done in an hour and I can come and get it. I went to the shop and picked up the plate. It weighs a lot and will work perfectly for my application. They through the spot welding of the feet in for free. John Santini got the plate for me with this amazing crane thing. It was so cool I took a video to show my friends. I was really impressed by how friendly, helpful and cool he was. The iron work at the place is amazing. The biggest chandelier I have ever seen is in the front atrium of the building and it is crafted out of steel rod. There are computer run machines for cutting out fancy designs. I was really excited by their BBQ trailer with two gorgeous grills for whole pig roasting. It was a great experience! The price was literally 1/3 the price of the highest bid and 1/2 the price of the middle bid.

I brought our kitchen chair to this company at the recommendation of a friend. I was not certain…read morethe chair was even salvageable. The company works with iron and one of the owners told me that the chair was aluminum however still offered to try to repair it for me. He gave me no guarantees and told me there was a 50-50 chance it could be fixed and then told me to return later in the afternoon. Never expected that, same day service, you don't find that often. When I returned not only did he fix the chair, but it was as good as new. I of course have to paint where it was soldered but you will not be able to tell where it was done. The price was extremely reasonable as well. If you have any rod iron work to be done, I would strongly consider this company. When you walk in the front door of the business and see some of their work you will see their workmanship. I am not sure why their address above is listed as Cooper Street (I imagine they may have been at that address at one time) however their new address is: 28 Sycamore Ave, Medford, MA 02155

I did not mind that, after he came out and he quoted the price and I nicely said that cost of the whole desk and I requested some discount very respectively and only once. I highly recommend W.R. Walton Contracting, Billerica, for driveway replacement…read more It removed my deteriorating 130 ft asphalt driveway and replaced it with a properly-leveled and thoroughly deep & compacted base, topped with new asphalt, in one day. What I liked: the personal visit by sales; a clear explanation of work to be performed; a timely & detailed quote; and frequent communications in scheduling a convenient project date. Plus, on the day of project work, its Team arrived timely; its team leader introduced himself and confirmed the expected procedures; followed by diligent progress with very synchronized efforts by every team member. At completion, the quality was high, in my opinion. After old asphalt was removed, painstaking and lengthy efforts were taken to re-level, properly slope (for drainage) and firmly compress the underlying base. It was impressive to observe. The Team also completed a thorough cleanup (and no abutting plants, lawn or sidewalks had been disturbed.) Lastly, W.R. Walton's owner visited twice; once mid-morning and then at completion. I much appreciated his attention to detail and the owner's standard of high quality work that his team delivered. What I did not like: nothing. In my vernacular: "damn, they were good." Ken S. I have used Walton for two residential paving jobs in Newton, MA and had a great experience with…read morethem both times. Walton's bid for my latest driveway project, which involved using my architect's plans to widen my driveway, was competitive with the other bids I obtained. I needed to push out the start date of their work due to my contractor not being done yet with renovations, and they were fine with that. They honored their price from the season prior. When spring came, I got a call about a week prior for scheduling and they arrived when they said they would and did the work quickly and professionally. Once the project was over I did have to reach back out to them to be sure the permit was closed but they worked very quickly and had my permit closed within a week, giving me an email confirmation afterwards. I'm very happy with my driveway and the service and support provided.
