They use in-house delivery staff, rather than exploitative gig-economy apps.

Strongly recommend these folks, they're punching above their weight for the medium size of their groccery store. They have a cool walk-in beer room, with a selection of microbrews and ciders. (Try the Nine-Pin!) They have a modern point-of-sale system with price scanners around the store. It's unusual to see that at a small grocery chain, I suspect that having a modern inventory system is what enables their website to be so accurate for their delivery services. I've always been happy with their grocery selection. And they've been invaluable with their delivery services during Covid. I've worked with a couple people there, most recently Angelica, and their delivery driver has been super solid as well.

Where we found our groceries after the delivery man insisted he did not know where they were and implied we were lying.

Very expensive place to shop. Barely no Hispanic/Latin products for a Market based in a Hispanic/Latin neighborhood.

The prices are expensive, customer service is not great, unfriendly staff so I ended up not buying anything from the store. ‍

I live off Stockholm street and wanted to avoid the high prices at Hi Mango (even though I love that market).

The Heatonist customer service manager, Raphael, worked tirelessly with/for me, to help me out with a situation, unrelated to the Heatonist's own business. Amazing!! I wish I lived in NYC, or wherever Raphael is on site, to personally thank him... and, of course, to buy some special hot sauces!!

I first seen Heatonist from watching Hot Ones show with Sean Evens he is a wonderful host ! The show is celebrities coming in and trying 10 hot sauces, and Sean will ask them questions in between. The sauces get spicier as the go . After I seen the show I ordered that season the exact line up and I hosted a Hot Ones challenge at my home with waivers and everything . I was the host and I asked questions it was an amazing time .. after that I started ordering different hot sauces I got my favorite sauces I have to always stay stocked with and I order new ones to try out . Online I get points the more I buy I get more discounts they also offer a birthday discount on the month of your birthday super cool ! I recommend signing up for the points online so worth it . I get my packages delivered fast and all my hot sauce bottles are packaged very careful and neatly for safe delivery. They all come with cute stickers . Some of my favorite hot sauces that I can't be with out are Truffle Fire Hot Sauce from Seed Ranch Flavor , AJI PEPA HOT sauce by Savir foods and Dill Pickle Serrano Hot Sauce from Heartbeat Hot Sauce . I keep ordering these 3 hot sauces but I will try new ones on every order . I highly recommend checking this website out if you love hot sauces you will love it . I love ordering my regular favorites and trying new hot sauces it's like Christmas super exciting to get my packages ..

The smaller bites are the best. Yellowfin Tuna has so many flavors to complement, Sugar Snap Peas really sing in their sesame sauce, and the Surf Clam Skewers are just so cool. I like the Sablefish less - I think it belongs on bread, but I did enjoy the Seafood Rice. Very flavorful in a quieter, more subtle way. The Blue Crab was just heaven, soft-boiled egg, chunks of crab in chili. Use the baguette to soak up every single drop. You must order the Pavlova. It is flawless. The Panna Cotta is also interesting, with pickled cherry blossoms both floral and tart. I got up at 4 AM to get this reservation, and I WILL do it again next time, every time I am in New York.

I think that would've been good, but we ended up getting 4 which was fine as well. We started with the yellowfin tuna and gnocco fritto, which was delicious, but maybe my least favorite bite. We then got the seafood rice, which was probably my favorite. It was a good size, and very creamy. It had an herby seafood topping which was delicious. After that we got the blue crab and soft boiled egg, which came with a baguette. It was super flavorful and the baguette was fresh. We ended with the muscovy duck breast, which was delicious, but a tad tough. Service was great. She was super attentive. Dishes came out one at a time, which I liked because it gave us enough time to enjoy each dish. Their menu rotates weekly, so if I lived around here, I could see myself coming sometimes to try other items. It is definitely on the pricier side, but very good food! I would come back again!
