If I could give more than five stars I would! It's hard to find a way to describe this place but I…read moredon't think what you may find does it justice! Essentially it's a buncha mini games in rooms that range from physical to mental and pushes you to really listen and work together. Don't expect the grand theatrics of a commercialized space like Bodaborg. But that's what gives it its charm. I've been to a few facilities similar to this in the east coast and have always loved them but Game On has a more thoughtful local feel. We even got a chance to talk to one of the creators Eric and got the lowdown on the place. It's clear when you hear him talk that this place is something truly special. On top of the fantastic service and time, game on was extremely quick and responsive when I emailed and called the next day after I realized I lost my gold bracelet!! I had a suspicion that I lost it in one of the more physically intense rooms... and sure enough James went and found it for me immediately. NOT ONLY THAT! But he even fixed it himself and it was back in perfect condition when I came back to pick it up. This place is great for team gatherings but just be ready to test each others patience (in the best way possible). And I'll be honest but the games are not easy, but that's the magic in it. They're design to make you think and try again and again and again. Game on is probably great for all ages but is especially great for 21+ since you can chill and grab a beer between sessions. If you want something unique to do with your peers, coworkers, and friends I highly rec you spend some time at this local Berkeley establishment!!

I heard from my coworker how fun and exciting this place is! Definitely a place to take a lot of pictures! You will have to come when the sun is out so you can experience the beautiful lights! We went at around 9 pm on July 4th and there was still a lot of people but not enough to dampen the experience thankfully. Tickets are easy to grab online and there is ample parking available because it's in the great mall. When we first walked in we were greeted with lots and lots of foam. Foam in the air like its snowing, and foam on the ground. My nephew was so excited and kept running through it excitedly which was cute. We were also told the last show of the day was about to start so we luckily caught it. Loved watching all 3 performers - aerial, juggling, and hoops. From there we just walked around and saw as much as we could. The little rooms they have with different decorations and aesthetics are great for pictures and selfies. There are so many good photo ops that I basically spent an hour being the munchkins personal photographer :) was a great time

Enjoy vintage cartoons, then a feature presentation complete with intermission (let's all go to the lobby, let's all go to the lobby and get ourselves a treat!) Generous grab bag prizes are also raffled off. The Marin Mobile Drive-In is a regular event where some local counter-culture nerdy types drag out their personal favorites and share them with anyone within ear shot with an FM radio & eyeballs. Cupcakes, popcorn & sodas can be purchased "by donation" for a few bucks but other than that this event is 100% free. All you have to do is follow their website, meetup or facebook pages and show up on the correct night. There are more showings in the summer when the weather is nice but last year they had them periodically all year long.

It's a small, intimate space with around 10 tables, and the tables are on the smaller side. The ticket includes a three-course meal: salad, main course, and dessert. The food will definitely fill you up, but the real highlight of this place is the magic. The magicians walk around to each table and perform close-up magic that will have you scratching your head and wondering how they pulled it off. After the meal, you'll be entertained by the featured magician on stage. There's a lot of interaction with the audience, which really gets the crowd involved. It's fun, entertaining, and definitely brings out the child in you. I grew up loving magic and always wanted to learn it, so this place is right up my alley. If you're looking for a fun date night idea, definitely consider this place. They deserve all the traffic and support they can get!

The club itself is an intimate and unique space. The performers were top notch and we are still trying to wrap our heads around some of the magic we experienced! Our matinee ticket didn't include food, but did include a non alcoholic drink. They do offer beer/wine for purchase. While all of the performers were fantastic, we were lucky enough to catch a performance headlining Mentalist James Knight. He is amazing (mind boggling actually) and I hope he returns to the club soon! We had a great time and can't wait return with friends!

Sorry, I can't remember anyone else's names. Puzzles are both clear and challenging at times, the narrative is very interesting and provokes discussion both during and after, and the prospect of decisions affecting later Chapters is very interesting. One of the most engaging and interesting Escape Rooms I've ever done. Although you might find cheaper Escape Rooms out there, Off the Couch Games offers a more unique experience that I think definitely gives you plenty of entertainment for your dollar. I eagerly await Chapters 4 and on. Only room for improvement I can really say is signage. If you miss the banner and front door on your way into the parking lot, you may get confused, especially at night.

The staff does a really good job introducing you to the game, providing context, and giving an overview of the rules. Additionally, they mentioned that we'd receive a discount off our total based on how quickly we finished, which was extra encouragement for us to get through the game. You immediately get immersed into the game before even walking into the actual room and once you're in Occam's Apartment, it feels even more real. The room itself is well decorated, with nice details scattered around the apartment. I loved every minute of the escape room experience and felt challenged throughout the time we were there. We did ask for hints throughout our time there and the answers were often given through directional questions. What I liked most about the Off the Couch set up is that the escape rooms are all a continuation of a storyline, so it makes you feel invested in the experience. I'm looking forward to the next escape room!
