This show comes yearly to the rock and brews parking lot at cal expo. I thought it might be a little too dark and scary for me. I'm a chicken at times. I thought it was outstanding and the amount of work that goes into this small time circus and the talent. Think circus Vargas but for adults with a dark twist. There was arrows shot, acrobats being hung by their hair, amazing acts, very cool costumes and the details and sets were great. I can see why people return year after year. Think Halloween type but not during fall. I personally loved it and there was plenty of parking but getting out of the parking lot was a nightmare. Will be going back in their return. read more

Just watched the opening night show, and it was amazing!! They're in Sacramento at Rock N' Brews in Arden from 03/27/26-03/30/26, and this particular show has a voodoo theme. There were clowns, acrobats, daredevils, cabaret dancers, and comedic bits with the help of some lucky audience members. No animals were used as part of the show, and the performers were all soooo talented! This is a perfect date night activity, so leave the kiddos at home. :) I sat in Section 2 Row C Seat 9 and it had a great unobstructed view. Def recommend if the platinum and premium seats are sold out. They also had a lot of snacks (popcorn, cotton candy, nachos, chocolate covered strawberries, chips, etc) and alcoholic drinks (margaritas, canned drinks, etc). Ps. Parking was $10 and they accepted card. read more

Paranormal Cirque II was definitely a unique experience! First off, finding the location is easy once you go over the overpass and spot the big black-and-white tent. Parking is $10 (cash only at entry), but you can also pay at the box office if you don't have cash on hand--just grab a ticket and leave it on your dashboard. The box office accepts tap, cash, or card, which was convenient. Inside, however, all snack bar and merch purchases are cash only. They do have an "ATM," which is actually a live employee handing out cash in $10 increments (with a $1 fee per $10). It honestly gave us a good laugh because at first we thought it was a mannequin! There are two snack bars with the usual offerings--nachos, hotdogs ($10 each), bottled drinks, and slushies. Prices were about what you'd expect for an event like this. The bathrooms are porta-potties, but they were fine. As for the show itself--I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was a great mix of gore, comedy, and acrobatic performances. It kept us entertained and the interactive moments with the audience added to the fun. During intermission, they even let the audience take photos with some of the characters, which was a nice touch. Seating is laid out so that no matter where you are, you feel pretty close to the action. Content-wise, I'd say it's best for ages 13+ since there's some cursing and a few sexy scenes. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and wouldn't mind returning next year to see what they come up with next. read more

This is for the Paranormal Cirque @Fredericksburg Agricultural Campgrounds. The interactiveness as you enter the dark, canopied walkway to the seating area was unexpected and build a level of anticipation for the show, that did not disappoint. Saw this event on Yelp and thought it would be an interesting, cool and different show to see. A definite "no phone zone" so it was annoying the lady in front of us secretly recorded the ENTIRE show from her cell phone. The show is very interactive, funny, dramatic, and most importantly filled with unparalleled talent. The performances are done without a net!!!! The event is "all cash" for parking ($5), food, photos and other themed items. The VIP (1st and 2nd rows) where we were are greats seats but under the canopy there is no seat with poor view. Sitting on the second row, center was perfect. I enjoyed the up close and personal experience with the performers. Lastly, if you want a better chance to be "part of the show" skip the VIP section and choose a regular seat as it appears most audience members selected were from regular seating. A different event to attend on a cold evening in March for sure but quite enjoyable. read more

Paranormal Cirque - PSA's by Creepy Kid @Paranormal Cirque FXBRG - Performing Arts Near Me - Oakland, California

High energy fun take on the traditional circus. Talented performers. No children under 13 years allowed which made it a nice experience with no kids scream, crying or running around. I experience this performance in Vallejo, CA read more

Every female act was reduced to lingerie and sex appeal, while the men were fully clothed (one took of their shirt) and allowed to showcase skill, danger, and artistry. It was degrading to watch talented women treated as eye candy instead of athletes. Women in circus are capable of incredible feats, yet in your production they were boxed into "sexy filler" while men got the spotlight for the real stunts. That imbalance is outdated, sexist, and insulting to both the performers and the audience. You owe it to your female performers, and to paying audiences, to stop packaging them as sexual props and start highlighting their actual talent. Until that changes, your show sends a clear message: men bring the skill, women bring the skin. And that's not entertainment; it's exploitation. read more

What's better than a circus?? A circus without kids in the audience! :P And not just any circus, but a horror-themed circus! It wasn't perfect, but I loved it. It included some of the typical acts you would see in a circus show, but with performers dressed as creepy and blood sucking creatures and sets that put you in the mood. This included a "killer" aerialist flying through the air, a possibly possessed contortionist bending her body in mind-boggling ways, zombies performing flips and floor tricks, a bloodied white-dressed ghost being lifted into the air by just her hair (hair hang), vampires on skates, and a masked juggler not just juggling clubs but handling a (hopefully fake) machete as well. One of my favorite acts was the tightrope walking, but even more amazing was unicyling on that tightrope! Steve and Ryan were Paranormal Cirque's version of clowns, but they are not your typical clowns, they played into the story of the show (becoming vampires), hyping up the crowd with some slapstick comedy, showing no shame in their x-rated jokes, and integrating (almost) nudity... oh they are also the hosts, promoters, and directors of the exhibition. They even orchestrated a game show bit, where an audience member got to participate, and it was pretty entertaining, invoking laughter from the crowd, some of the act possibly improvised. The entire experience was pretty amazing and definitely unique. They were set up under a big red tent, and when you stepped into the lobby, you entered an eerie atmosphere filled with fog and a reddish hue. They had booths selling horror-themed masks and other souvenirs, as well as a tattoo parlor with corpses as part of the decor. They had plenty of carnival food for sale (popcorn, nachos, lemonade, slushies, etc.), and provided photo ops inside the auditorium, including photos on stage with the monsters during the 15-20 minutes intermission.... yes, Chucky, Annabelle, Michael Myers, the electrocution chair, etc. (this was a 2-hour show by the way, and it started 30 minutes after the ticketed time when I attended this past Sunday night). The use of creepy and colorful lighting, a multitude of props, and well-thought-out costumes for the actors and performers on stage was amazing. This was such a great find... if you ever find them touring in your area, I highly recommend checking it out. read more

I came in expecting to see a paranormal take on Cirque du Soleil. This was not that by any stretch of the imagination. Instead we were met with bungled acts such as a juggler repeatedly dropping his pieces and tightrope-walkers falling off their lines and ending the act prematurely and abandoning the planned unicycle ride. Worse yet was the endless standup comedy hour driven by trite writing and unlikeable YouTube personalities. During these seemingly interminable segments we wondered where the circus component of the show was but then remembered the bungled circus acts and remembered why there was so much poorly written standup comedy instead. Worse yet, the bathrooms provided were filled to the brim with human waste and practically unusable. And worst of all, our seats were in a near broken state and nearly injured us by almost falling apart before we moved to more stable vacant seats (I'm 6'1" 170 lbs so I don't exceed any weight limits), only to leave after the first intermission. I simply cannot recommend this awful show to anyone, as almost any high school production can rival it and provide better bang for your buck. If this show were $5 at the door or donation- based, I still wouldn't go to it, but at $40 a ticket, I truly feel cheated by what was an awful, grating, unenjoyable amateur comedy hour mottled by a few bungled circus acts. read more

A few things: leave the kids at home, c'mon. Any review regarding inappropriate for children is immediately just showing that YOU are the moron, and trust me, they don't care! Also, very fit and talented women will be dressed in clothing appropriate to their show and their acts. If you are uncomfortable with that, don't go. Saw some reviews of hair pulling an hour before the show tonight - the one time I can *see* this happening is during an act where someone runs into the bleachers. Sounds like an accident at best. Honestly, just stay home. Great show, tons of fun. Performers are awesome, and I'm so glad my boyfriend and I went. For real - spend some money and go support these talented folks. Ignore the negativity. (No alcohol - drink beforehand and get a designated driver!) read more

Their tent happened to be next door to the haunted house we were going to go to but the decor outside caught our attention and we decided to buy last minute tickets to watch the show. IT WAS SO WORTH THE MONEY!!! The ambiance when you walk in was eerie due to the fog in the waiting area before the show. The mini haunted house after entering was a nice surprise. I will definitely return when it comes through town again! read more

I'm so glad they came to a small town I live nearby. We went to Paranormal Cirque II on their last day here, a Sunday. We were in the first row of Level 2 Premium. Seats were comfortable enough to enjoy the show. It gets hot inside. It was maybe 75 degrees outside and inside was probably around 85. Everything is cash. I wished I had more cash with me but I only had enough for two churros $7 each and a picture that a photographer took of my partner and I ($10). I loved everything, the performers, the lights, the sounds. It's not really scary like when you watch a horror movie. It's more like scary fun. The performers interact with the crowd sometimes. read more

This event wasn't exactly as I had expected although I wasn't too sure what to expect. It turned out to be a strange and bizarre shopping experience instead of a sort of show and a bunch of odd things to see. Overall, it was alright. My 7 year old had a good time and we are glad we'd got tickets for the side show. There were soon good and interesting shops with unique things to buy but there were also plenty of ones selling the same goods so you could tell they didn't create those items themselves which was a little disappointing. I collected a lot of business cards because we have our own business and could make some really good connections with some of the vendors in the future. There wasn't really much for food available but there was a snack bar there and probably expensive. We decided to go elsewhere afterwards for lunch. Parking cost wasn't too bad considering it was at the fair grounds. Not sure I'd go back. I think we saw what there was available to see to get the most out of the experience. But if you like weird, interesting and unusual things - especially for home decor or gifts - this is the event! read more

Had a blast attending this circus , it's a horror fans dream to attend , they follow the theme very closely and the show is a mix of art , comedy and terrifying thriller you will be amazed , you will laugh and have a chill up your spine when seeing how crazy these performers will go to create a good show read more

It's more of a strip tease than anything. Went for my anniversary.. we left at intermission.

It is a waste of time and money!!! Bad show, only a few acts barely acceptable. Very bad seats too. Think twice before decide to go read more

This show has all the fun creepiness of a beetle juice movie. This is definitely not for kids (sucks for them; awesome for adults) as the imagery can be too scary for the little ones. The actors are dedicated and look like they're having a great time; you will too. The show is really well scripted and very engaging with plenty of puns and slapstick. The concession stands had decently priced carnival food and short lines. We had a lot of fun at this show and hope to see more like it. Great job with the lights! read more

Lol wtf this was literally a strip show calling itself a circus. 90% of it was just girls in thongs and lingerie jumping in your face (and not even in an artistic, acrobatic type of way). There were barely any acrobatic acts and certainly nothing horror about it. We left before intermission. read more

Had an awesome time. Excellent entertainers. Everyone was extremely talented and every act gave their all. The hosts were extremely funny and true stand up comedians and also performed great improv.
