The crew failed to follow lead paint remediation practices and contaminated my entire yard with lead-based paint chips. They came out twice to "clean up" the lead paint - both times failed to reasonably clean up the lead paint chips. They then claim another contractor caused the lead paint contamination, quit the job without notice, and refuse to file a claim with their insurance company to cover the cost of cleaning up the lead paint chips they failed to contain. IMO, they are trying to get out of their responsibility to clean up the lead contamination. If you have a house that may have lead-based paint, I think you should avoid Clear Choice Restoration at all costs.

He was belligerent and argumentative about whether or not I was able to access the top of the chimney myself and accused me of being "full of bullshit". Not only did he do nothing to actually merit the 220 dollars that he received, he noticed the card left by another company and proceeded to berate them on every level. I would not recommend this company and would advise strongly against using them. Jim was offensive and lacked any sense of customer service. I consider the money well spent in identifying which company to avoid at all cost.

Before the project began he asked for more money to ensure he did not damage the driveway. This should have been a red flag but after stating we talked about not damaging the driveway and that should have been in your quote we moved forward. I reminded his foreman the concrete must slope away from the home. After job completion it was pretty clear the concrete was not sloped properly. Micah his foreman assured me it was. After the stain dried I put a level on the concrete and it is indeed pitching at my house. That was over a month ago. No resolution and a " stamped concrete has irregularities " is where we are at. They have $5,916.00 and the work was not done correctly. Buyer BEWARE! I am seeking a solution still but at this point I do not trust they will do what they say they are going to do.

Shortly after moving into our new place, we noticed an area of water damage in the wall and flooring from a leaking drain pipe, which the previous owners had covered with furniture during our inspection. We had the leak itself fixed by Tonka Plumbing, and requested an estimate from Loyear for the remediation work. When Gary showed up, he had a mask, booties, everything you'd expect in 2020. He listened to what our issues were, inspected the damage, pulled out his cool infrared gadget, and gave us his estimate. The surprise came when he then told us that - as much as no business likes to turn down business - our issue was one we could probably handle ourselves. Instead of simply taking our money, he suggested that we give it a go, and call him back if the issue turned out to be larger than we were comfortable handling on our own. So there you have it. 5-star review for a company I never actually hired -specifically because of an estimator's honesty and frankness. Will 100% call them in the future for any water damage/remediation work I need.

We live in a wooded area, and at some point a branch had damaged part of a 28 foot section of the gutters, bending the gutter and gutter guard which keeps debris out. I noticed this when clearing leaves and debris off the roof. I gave them a call, hoping that I could get by with just replacing this one section. One of their guys came out (forget the name), started inspecting flashing and other things and I started to dread the list of all the wrong things he was going to find. After a few minutes, he told me that everything else looks good, and that he could straighten the gutter, straighten the guard, and secure it better. He did this.. took maybe total of 20 minutes. When I asked what the cost was, he told me no charge. Cannot even tell that the gutter had been damaged. Can't get better service and care than that. Highly recommended
