Afiya immediately put me at ease. She was so personable and made me feel comfortable. Her room is decorated nicely, good music playing, good temperature. I wasn't even nervous about the whole naked part. Just the impending pain. Afiya took the time to explain sugaring to me and the process. As for the sugaring, she was efficient, thorough, and caring. Of course it was painful. It is hair being ripped out. But it was so much less painful than my previous experience. I'd say a 4 out of 10. I know my next time will be even easier. She also did my underarms. Again, efficient and thorough. She even used a bright light at the end to make sure she gets the stubborn hairs. You get a punch card. 5 services and the 6th one is free. I am in love with this idea and big ups to the owner of this brothel of people who want to make you pretty. As for Skin by ME....Elisha (one of two in this studio) was awesome. She cares, she provides tips, information, and most importantly doesn't force products down your throat. Calm and relaxed, this is heaven. If any of you are familiar with facials, most people go straight home and don't leave for at least one day...it can be a horrible sight of blotches and redness that is not the business.
