Beware !!!do not save your card on there system as they will misuse it !! Calling today the girl Marina said the manger is not available today so I asked her should I charge you guys back because your manger is not available today as I was not able to pick the call yesterday!! She had no answer but to say they made me sign up some paper in the beginning that they could pull the money out !! Can you believe that !! This is for the owner and the manager stop misusing clients card and charge them without there consent , I understand the membership money being pulled every month but if that is signed up you cannot just blindly use clients card and make money of your business , just because they were not able to answer a call for that day ,, , that's fraud !! Without giving any service !! I would like to speak with the owner as I myself run my own salon and never would I charge a clients card without informing them or misusing the trust we placed the card in your system !! That's called extortion !! Sending proofs

I know there is one review about not being called back, (I had no issue), but don't let that deter you from a fantastic sugaring experience. I had a Brazilian with hard wax and a inefficient waxer 6 years ago. I never had one again. Traumatizing. Then I heard about sugaring recently. I actually made my own and have sugared my legs twice on my own. I was greatly surprised at it being virtually pain free! I got to thinking...should I try a Brazilian again? I am going to Hawaii next month. Of course, I would never be able to do it on myself. That's just asking for trouble! Studio Glow had a Groupon for underarm sugaring. I bought it and scheduled an appt for Brazilian and underarms on her website. Heard back from her within 24 hours. I went in the next day. I was so nervous. Will it be like last time? Afiya immediately put me at ease. She was so personable and made me feel comfortable. Her room is decorated nicely, good music playing, good temperature. I wasn't even nervous about the whole naked part. Just the impending pain. Afiya took the time to explain sugaring to me and the process. As for the sugaring, she was efficient, thorough, and caring. Of course it was painful. It is hair being ripped out. But it was so much less painful than my previous experience. I'd say a 4 out of 10. I know my next time will be even easier. She also did my underarms. Again, efficient and thorough. She even used a bright light at the end to make sure she gets the stubborn hairs. You get a punch card. 5 services and the 6th one is free. Can't beat that! I scheduled my next appt the same day. Thanks, Afiya!
