Outstanding menu - service ok but struggling on a Saturday night. Long wait for dessert and coffee. Seafood was superb.

A fine dining restaurant in a very small village! Delicious food and great service. I definitely enjoyed the service and unique menu.

I have to say that the New Inn is probably one of my favorite pubs and places to eat in the entire…read moreCambridgeshire, Suffolk, and Norfolk vicinity. The owners are very kind and treat you like you are part of the family. Always a good vibe, and always feel very welcome. What I love most about their menu is that they serve fresh game. I love their game soup. Anything they serve that is game deserves an A+. I crave their game meals on a daily basis. I wanted to go here for Valentines Day but I could not get my husband to drive out of Newmarket and resorted to another pub which I wasn't happy with, so he does owe me a night at the New Inn. They always have new specials, it is always wise to check out their specials on the black board. I always have their specials whatever they are. They never disappoint. I have had their Sunday carvery and it is delicious. I never over spend, I always get a lot for my money, I am always happy and my tummy is full and my taste buds are always satisfied. They have a pretty good selection of ales, beers and ciders. Their menu is pretty large, I will take pictures of it and post it soon. There is lots to eat if you are a vegetarian and lots to eat if you are not! I need to try their exotic meats on a slab, they get exotic meat flown in from Scotland.

The bar area is a bit small, but there are plenty (about 10) of different beers on tap. I ordered a Greene King IPA and found it very tasty; not overtly hoppy tasting. There are many smaller dining rooms that make the patron feel cramped for space, so we elected to sit in the covered porch area for dinner. I ordered the fish and chips and thought it average. Overall, the service was good, the meal was hot, and the beer cold. Nothing fancy, though.
