I am very happy with my housecleaner Ruth. She is professional and works so hard to keep out house clean. The air conditioning company did not need to change the filter when they came. I attribute this to Ruth and Merry Maids. Before hiring Merry Maids the filter always need changing. Sally read more

They are very detailed and professional. They always do a great job. I love coming home to a clean house. Highly recommend!!!!

I have been with Merry Maids for about 6 yrs, and had a wonderful team that use to clean my home. After their departure I was skeptical about finding that same dedication after several months of different teams, Iris and Martha B has been my team, so now is the time to review, these ladies are so efficient, timely, polite and have done a wonderful job. They pay attention to detail and their dedication to the job is fantastic. Thank you Iris and Martha B. I appreciate all you do. read more

If it was possible to give 0 stars, I would. Merry Maids came to clean my home. They were cleaning the bathroom and accidentally hit the water valve and broke it. This, in turn, caused my bathroom and bedroom to flood. Even though the employee told me and a neighbor that she was cleaning around the toilet and the plumber also stated that it was impossible to break the valve without hitting it, they did not repair my home. They left my home with thousands of dollars worth of damage, with no flooring, and no insulation under the bathroom and bedroom. I would NOT recommend them. My home is in complete disarray. read more

I hired Merry maids to clean my house. One of the three ladies knocked over candle, spilled the wax on the floor, but instead of cleaning it, she moved a table and put it on top of it. read more

Our Merry Maid Team was recently changed to Melissa and Patty. WOW!!! We didn't really know what we were missing out on with our weekly cleanings until these 2 ladies began cleaning our home. They arrive and begin immediately cleaning. They are organized and have a system of checks. They work as a true team to ensure that everything is done. In the past we had thought we were on a rotation of cleaning tasks and mentioned it to the MM office on several occasions. Now everything is clean and fresh. Patty & Melissa work confidently and efficiently to ensure our home is clean top to bottom and in all the little nooks and corners. One outstanding thing I can mention is that they are not on the phone or taking multiple calls during our clean as with other teams. Patty & Melissa have never said anything derogatory about other Merry Maid teams or the employer. They have never asked for tips or stated how much other customers will provide incentives. They have never asked for food or soda or as with our past teams. They just do their job and perform very well!!!! It is refreshing to see the pride that goes into their work and their accomplishments. Both have amazing integrity and honesty. Kudos to Melissa & Patty on the best weekly cleans we have EVER had!!!! read more

If I could give a 0, I would. A dear friend hired them to clean their new house before they moved in. Not only did they knock 2 sets of shutters off the windows, none of the inside of the cabinets had been cleaned, even though that was part of the service. They missed about half the light fixtures, and those they did only got a superficial dusting. I'm planning to move in 6 months myself, and there is NO way I would hire them to clean. read more

I had Merry Maids do a move out cleaning in a residence. It had gotten pretty messy over time and thus they quoted a fairly large fee. Expecting this, I agreed. Upon review, I'd say Merry Maids did a mostly satisfactory job. While they did a lot of GOOD work, they did not complete everything they said they would (for instance, a few window sills had not been wiped down, but most had). I would probably use Merry Maids again if I had a chance to converse with management, but seeing as this was a one time thing, I don't see the need. 3.5/5 read more

We've been working with Merry Maids in West Columbia for about five years. They've been great - very thorough cleaning, attentive to detail, friendly and professional staff, and timely communication when needing to reschedule for holidays, etc. We had an older, sick dog for a long time, and the women who cleaned our home were incredibly kind to him and understanding of his limitations, which we also really appreciated. We've only had two minor incidents of damage, but both were things that could have just as easily happened to me or anyone else cleaning our home. Accidents happen to us all, and the women cleaning our home are very careful. In both cases, the office immediately gave us credit, and we happy with their quick response. We are very happy with our service. read more
